Skipped slides in Figma Slides are still visible on the iOS app, is that the intended behaviour?

Hey @Margot_Gabel, thanks for reaching out!

If you’ve chosen to skip a Figma Slide, it definitely should not still be visible in the iOS app.

Are you still seeing this happening in the app? If so, are you able to share a link to your file with us, so we can take a closer look at your Slide layers?

If you’re able to share, please provide the link in this thread and also add support-share@figma.com as an editor. (Don’t worry - this won’t impact your billing.)

Hi @djv it happens with any Figma Slides files, see below a quick test to reproduce the issue:

Figma Slides desktop app with 1 normal slide and 1 skipped slide.

Figma iOS app with the same file, second slide should be skipped or at least show the skipped state like on the desktop app with the closed eye icon.

Hi @Margot_Gabel, thanks for your patience!

The Slides team ultimately determined that this is actually expected behavior. The mobile app uses the editor view, not Presentation view, which is why hidden slides showing up is to be expected. Only in the Presentation view (prototype view) will hidden slides be out of view.

Okay, thanks for your answer @djv .
How to open Figma Slides in Presentation view in the Mobile App ?
