Sorry to hear about the trouble with these random freezes. I know how frustrating that can be when you're in the middle of a project.

Thanks for the info you’ve already shared. To help narrow things down further, can you check on the following:

1. Are you using the latest version of the Figma Desktop App (125.5.6)?
2. How frequently are you needing to restart, and does refreshing the tab improve things at all?
3. Are there any unique components or libraries in the file that freezes, compared to ones that don’t?
4. If you duplicate the file, do the same freezes occur in the copy?

To go even deeper, I recommend looping in our Technical Quality team. You can start that by filling out this form and including:

• a link to the file where this is happening
• edit access granted to support-share@figma.com
• a screen recording showing the issue (including both left and right panels if possible).
