Report a Problem

While creating styles with linked variables, I noticed a lack of system status visibility. When you link a font size variable to a style and reopen the variable list, a blue bar appears, indicating the selected state.However, for line-height or letter-spacing, after linking the variables, reopening the list does not show any selected state.This creates confusion about whether the style is inheriting the variable from the current file or an external source. The issue is most noticeable when copying and pasting styles between different files. 

All my transparent background SVGs have got a solid black / white backgrounds for some reason - overnight. and this has happened to all my design files. I need them to be SVGs not transparent PNGs - since im working with vector designs. Any solution for this?

I’ve recently been trying to use the mobile app (iOS) to look at designs and prototypes as I’m creating them on my laptop—and I’m finding that the app is having serious trouble keeping up to date with edits I’m making.Some changes show up immediately but others don’t at all. They might be a color, size, or just about any change. Some specific things like constraints while viewing a prototype in Responsive mode seem to flip flop between a new and previous state. So after a few changes I have this franken-view of my design in the app that gets worse as I go.The most reliable way to get everything on the app to be current is making the app re-open the file. I’ve done this either by backing completely out of the file and re-opening it or switching between View File and View Prototype and back again. Both take a lot of time for something I shouldn’t even have to be thinking about.If nothing else, a Manual Refresh command would be very much appreciated. Really though it would be better if th

Hi, I made a navigation bar that has a line underneath the selected icon. The first 2 icons have the line move between them smoothly, however the other 2 has an issue where the line just disappears, and reappears. I have no clue what the issue could be.

Many times, when I open the “Update from main” when I’m in a branch there are no action buttons to do anything. I do not know if there is something I need to do to get them visible, but they are just not there. Then other times the buttons are there and it’s easy to make the update. I am not sure what is going on.

I’m not able to use my system level keyboard shortcuts while working in the main Figma application window. The only way to use them is by first opening one of the menus in the OS menu bar, which kind of defeats the whole purpose

I was working on a file with a couple of libraries linked, and the next day they were unlinked. I can still see the style names, but the libraries are no longer linked to my file.Does anyone knows why is that happening? 

When selecting a parent frame, the option to set the border radius is not interactive. Additionally, when attempting to hover over the unlink text styles icon, it disappears, making the option non-interactive and preventing me from breaking the text styles. This appears to be a frustrating bug. However, I found a workaround, enabling "Property Labels" in the UI, which restores the functionality of these properties. Can we get this fixed soon?

For a few days now, all users from my company have been experiencing the error that previously created designs are displayed incorrectly. This is shown by the fact that elements are completely shifted and components appear destroyed (spacing is incorrect and elements are overlapped). As soon as I double-click on the element or component, everything straightens out again. But each user has to do this separately. And several times a day. Since then, this has had to be done several times a day and our developers can't even correct this in Dev Mode, for example. This makes it impossible to work at all.

why Figma’s Ai suddenly gone? I tried to restart app couple of times, but it didnt helpI really liked AI features, is there any way to get them back?

We are working on implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) for the Figma application and very soon we will be enforcing SSO. So, we wanted to check if we have any if Elevensports.com, fibamedia.com and Teamwhistle.com domains can be added / as well as if they have any separate contracts with Figma.

I’ve run into a bug where click interactions on button instances don’t work within a parent component if they’re not included in the parent’s initial state.Basically I have a simple drop down with collapsed and expanded states.In the default state it’s just the title bar and in the expanded state it has a list of options and a button.Instances of this component are then stacked into a master component which has different states showing list 1, 2 or 3 etc. expanded whilst the others are collapsed.The click interactions are set for each by changing them to their expanded state, setting the link and then setting them back to the desired collapsed state.These click interactions refuse to work when tried in the prototype.The only way I found around this was to include the buttons within the collapsed state also and then hide them by clipping them out of the frame - not ideal.Is there a fix for this?Thanks :)    

I’m experiencing an issue with prototypes embedded into presentations in Figma. I created presentations to showcase design work to clients where I embedded Figma prototypes into a Figma presentation. Everything was fine. Today my client contacts me to say that they can only see a sliver of the prototype inside of the presentation. When I look at the setup of the presentation I can see that the prototype is correctly embedded and displays at the correct size, but when I play (present) the presentation only a sliver of the prototype is displayed - please see screenshots:  This is quite an issue as currently as it’s happening to all of my presentations. What’s going on here?

Am I the only one or did the shortcut to toggle the UI stop working all of a sudden a few days ago? 🤔 I’m on a german keyboard on windows (so the shortcut should be an has been ^ until recently), I also tried clearing the Figma cache but no budge. (I also saw a forum post abt the same topic on norwegian keyboard so maybe there’s some connection to that?)

 When I select two anchors that share identical X coordinates, they appear “Mixed”. What am I missing? Is this the intended result? I would assume both should say 5.75

HiI’d really appreciate a response from a Sales team member. I need to purchase Enterprise Licenses and I does seem that public requests on this forum are the most successful method of doing so. The Contact Sales page not appearing to do anything.My Apologies to the wider Figma Community. I know that there are more that 10 topics on this from the last year with some of then having hundreds of responses.This is a good faith outreach and I understand the Sales team are quite possibly very busy at at capacity but there just aren’t many options available. Ed

In Figma Slides when I go to view my version history and try to select an older version I keep getting the message, “Something went wrong. Our team is looking into it now. If refreshing the page doesn’t work, check our status page for updates.” This has been happening to me for, at least, the last 2-3 weeks. Is there something I’m doing wrong or is this a bug?  

Figma mirror stops working after 1 or 2 clicks.  iPhone is updated (iOS 18.3), same for Mac (macOS Sequoia 15.3). App was uninstall and installed again as well but the problem continues. 

When selecting multiple frames for export Figma will ignore some frames unless I go and manually export them individually. Is there something I am missing where when I group select 5+ frames and click export that I need to do to ensure everything is being exported at once, or is this a bug within Figma?

I set my text colour to the dark, primary colour. The opacity is at 100% but it looks grey! It changed suddenly when I put it within an auto-layout frame. I can’t fix it.Does anyone know what’s happening? 

Presentation viewSlide editor viewFor some reason when I go into presentation mode the prototype that I’ve added via the “Live interaction” button is shortening the view port of the prototype. I’ve tried restarting Figma and checking my prototype display settings, but neither seem to fix the issue. 

I’ve been trying to use icon fonts so that I can apply inline icons with text. Wingdings doesn’t work, it’s all appearing as text. none of the actual iconography. I also installed a free version of FontAwesome 6, and tried both the web and the desktop versions. Figma posts a note acknowledging ‘new font added’ but when I select it, it’s just text. How the heck do I do this. I tried the fontawesome plugin, but that’s just giving me svg shapes. I need TRUE inline text icons.
