Trying to use the 'distribute horizontal (and vertical) spacing' option for points on a line so the points will be equally spaced out on a line but it doesn't work anymore. Does anyone know why?
I am the original poster of the problem. Here is a video of what I’m talking about. As you can see I have created a line and put several random points on this line. For the last several years, I have been able to select the points and then choose the “distribute horizontal spacing” and the points would be distributed evenly across the line. Now, it doesn’t work! Please help:
I’ve just noticed it and this is horrible!!! I need it very often.
Please Figma bring it back
Confirmed not working for me either. I needed to create a graph and it’s a no-go
Also having this issue. Used to work great and was critical for making realistic graphs and charts.
Aligning points to top or bottom also has a bug, they never fully get flush, and eventually it will add spacing on arbitrary points making them even less aligned.
I wanted to post an update. Figma responded to me and for right now, the reason it doesn’t work anymore is because when you select it, now the points and the segments are being selected. If you ONLY select each point, then try to distribute evenly, it should work. It’s not ideal, but it’s a temporary workaround until they decide to fix it. I’ve included a video.
same here
Same, critical feature for graphs and no longer working!
