To copy a fill layer, I need to:

1. Select an object
2. Click on the fill layer - it will be highlighted in gray
3. Click again on the object - the highlighted fill layer will now be highlighted in blue, and now it is really selected and can be copied/cut, etc.

It used to work fine before (old UI), but now it behaves like this. I thought the copying function was broken. Is this the intended behavior?
