While testing the addition of responsive behavior in Dev Mode Focus, I noticed that it breaks the min/max variables set with a specific variable mode. As a result, the artboard becomes locked to the initial size defined by that variable mode, preventing any further size adjustments. When exiting Focus Mode and inspecting the artboard, the variable appears to be detached, something that should not be possible when interacting with designs in Dev Mode.

 The whole “Panels” sub menu under “View” is sometimes not available. When it happens the Panels menu is not available at all. Search via the Help menu voor Toggle Variables / Variables gives no resultsI eventually got the menu back but I was not sure if what I did actually had anything to do with it.Open file See variables panel missing Open an other project (that has the panel  in the menu Close both projects Close Figma Relaunch Figma Re-open intial file where I encountered the bug.  The panel is accessible via the menu again. But then I changes the name (totally unrelated to this issue i thought).I think I have figured out what is causing this. My project that I created was in all caps and had a Hyphen. Like this example: CLIENTNAME - PROJECTMy file had the same but I think the project name causes the issue not the file.When I changed both to lowercase my panel started loading again. this looks like a very wierd bug, why would the naming of a project/file be causing this?I have tes

I submitted a Projects API access request weeks ago on behalf of my team through Figma's official form for our application but received no response or acknowledgment.This delay is blocking our product launch, preventing the design community from accessing a tool they've been requesting.Can anyone from the Figma team provide an update on our request or accelerate the review process?

As a new user I get a pop up asking if I want to take a quick tour of the file browser. When I click yes, another pop up shows up saying that it is 1 out of 6. When I click next nothing else happens and the pop up disappears. I tried this on Edge and Firefox and got the same results.

Right now, I can’t copy a single line from the styles block — I can only copy all of them using the button. Hello Figma Team,I'm writing to provide feedback on a recurring and frustrating issue with the Figma Make tool. I am consistently facing problems where I give very specific and detailed prompts, yet the tool delivers no result or a completely incorrect one.For example, I recently tried to generate a chart with a specific color palette. Even after explicitly providing colors and percentages, the AI failed to render the chart correctly, producing a black-and-white image instead. This issue makes it difficult to rely on the tool for what should be simple design tasks. The lack of a correct output, even with precise instructions, is a significant source of frustration.Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. 

Up until yesterday, Figma Make was working beautifully — fast responses, smooth updates, and changes showing up almost instantly. It felt reliable and made our workflow so much easier.But starting today, something’s changed. Now, whenever we give it a prompt, it just sits there “thinking” forever with the little loading animation. There’s no error message, no progress indicator — just a spinning icon and silence.Even stranger — after waiting a while, it sometimes lets us type in a new prompt again, giving the impression that it’s back to normal. But then, out of nowhere, it stops responding mid-task and goes back into that endless thinking state. This cycle keeps repeating, and the actual updates never seem to appear. Anyone facing this issue? 

I’m not only one who facing the same issue but this getting really frustrated Figma randomly copies elements.The Select tool is buggyabout 20% of the elements can't be selected, even though they're not locked or hidden.  

Hey, this topic is already a running issue for years but suddenly the work around is not working anymore.For context: My team has to do a lot of reskins of specific features. Formerly we copy and pasted whole pages into a new file which kept the components and more importantly the instances in the mockups linked to the components below (Export area). The page components have imbedded instances form master components on a separate page in case we want to batch change them.If we use the copy paste method now it creates only instances in the “Export” area. The instances in the mockups still link to the copied page. This basically brakes our whole workflow.I tried plugins but they only copy/past single components - I need the whole page structure intact.The only thing I can think of right now is having the master component page as library and create a new file for every reskin. But this is so much extra effort with changing the current structure and also contradicts our whole Figma project

Figma has been distant from users lately, and while I understand that they’re expanding their scope, the contact support button has become completely unresponsive. Here’s what happened: I transferred ownership of a file in a project from User A to User B, since B would now be managing it. B then removed A from the sharing settings and restricted access to invited users only. However, A still had access to the file and, assuming it was no longer needed, moved it to the trash. B was shocked to find the file was no longer accessible. When A tried to recover it from their trash, it wasn’t there. B also couldn’t find it in their trash. Now the file is gone — not visible in either A’s or B’s trash, and inaccessible to both. The question is: where is the file now?And I am here is community is because As i mentioned The contact support button doesn’t work.BTW although this ask seems chilled, I am losing my mind on where the file is because i have a deadline to meet.

When I am annotating a layer or frame, I usually go to the layer panel to select the next layer/frame I want to annotate and not directly on the artboard for accuracy. But when I do this the annotation I just worked on does not save.I always have to click into the art board to make sure it saves and then click layer panel. It’s not intuitive and frustrating when we’re dozens and hundreds of annotations.

简体汉字“类”在figma中错误显示，应为“米”“大”结构，而非“米”“犬”，Figma中这个字一直显示错误，不知道如何替换为正确的简体中文汉字。The simplified Chinese character “类”，is“米”（means “rice”）above “大”（means “big”），but not“米”above“犬”（means “dog”）。“米”+“犬”seems to be a  character in Japanese？Anyway，the  one  shown in  Figam is not the riagt character “类” in simplified Chinese 

I’m receiving the below error when I try to Unassign a team within an existing Workspace in the Admin panel. I am an Org admin.  

I'm using the new product which is figma buzz, I was in the middle of my design, just like usual figma file, I'm trying to view the design in outline mode, in a regualr figma file, it's working but in figma buzz its not working, is this a bug or it's disabled in figma buzz natively?

hi, I made an overlay that contains a component with two states: Start and Enabled. Interacting with the overlay in Start state moves it to Enabled state.In the Enabled state, component has a Close button.On the Close button, I added actionsclose overlay set component back back to Start stateWhen I run the prototype, the second action never gets executed. The component remains in the Enabled state when the overlay is opened again. If I switch the order of the actions, the component returns to Start state but the overlay does not close. Only the first action is being executed.For now, I’m trying to find a workaround but this is very annoying and it’s cost enough time that it’s compromising a tight deadline. Figma, please fix.  

In my Iphone frame I have create a bottom bar component and I want the bottom bar to stay fixed in place and when ever I try to select the Fixed (stay in place) option I am unable to select that option , why is that ?? I want that fixed :(

I tried Figma MCP when it was presented - and everything worked perfectly, but previous week it stopped responding for most of my models, but for some it randomly gives something. Actually it doesn’t work for me as it worked previously. Does anyone knows what’s the issue and how to resolve? 

BUG: Whenever I try to customise the colour of a line of a square to a custom colour (not one that’s already listed as part of the options), then the whole square changes colour, and doesnt allow me to have a custom colour outline with a white inner.
