Hey @danielsmxth, thanks for reaching out!
I understand you can’t get into your student (.edu) email anymore, so you’re locked out of your Figma account.
Do you have emails from your old student address forwarded to another inbox?
- If so: On figma.com, select ‘Log in’, then ‘Reset password’. Because your old emails forward to your new inbox, the reset email will reach you there. If you signed up with Google single sign-on (SSO), setting a password lets you log in with your email and password instead. After that, you can update your email address in your account settings. Our Help Center article Manage email address or password walks through each step.
- If not: Please reach out to the Customer Support team through the Support Hub, since we can’t make account changes from the forum. Our team can start the process of manually updating the email address on your account, and they’ll need to verify that you own it first. Our Help Center article Get help from the Figma Support team explains how to get in touch if you can’t access your account.
Once you’re back in, files can’t be moved directly between Figma accounts, but you can save a local copy of a file and import it into your new account. Move a file covers your options.
Hope this helps!
