Sandoll Cloud and Adobe Fonts Suddenly Missing in Figma on Windows
Hello Figma Support Team,
I'm experiencing a font detection issue in Figma on Windows. Sandoll Cloud fonts and Adobe Fonts suddenly stopped appearing in Figma, even though they were working normally until the evening of October 13, 2026.
I would appreciate your help investigating this issue.
1. Issue description
Until the evening of October 13, 2026, I was able to use my subscribed Sandoll Cloud fonts in Figma without any problems. However, the next day, these fonts suddenly became unavailable.
The issue affects both Sandoll Cloud fonts and Adobe Fonts.
For example, when I select text using SD Minburi, a font included in my active Sandoll Cloud subscription, Figma displays a yellow “A?” warning icon next to the font name. When I search for the font in the font picker, Figma returns “No matching fonts.”
The font is also missing from the “Installed by you” font list.
2. Environment and scope
-
Operating system: Windows
-
Figma Desktop: Affected
-
Figma Web: Affected
-
Sandoll Cloud fonts: Affected
-
Adobe Fonts: Affected
-
Manually installed TTF fonts: Working normally
3. Tests and observations
I have confirmed the following:
-
The affected fonts are activated in Sandoll Cloud and Adobe Fonts.
-
The fonts remain available and work correctly in other applications, including Adobe applications.
-
Manually installed TTF fonts are detected and work normally in Figma.
-
Sandoll Cloud fonts and Adobe Fonts are not detected in either Figma Desktop or Figma Web.
-
The issue began suddenly, despite the fonts working normally the previous evening.
These results suggest that the issue may be related to how Figma detects or accesses fonts activated through cloud-based font services, rather than a general failure to detect locally installed fonts.
4. Troubleshooting already attempted
I have already tried the following:
-
Confirmed that the affected fonts are activated in their respective font management applications.
-
Uninstalled and reinstalled the Figma Desktop application.
-
Restarted my computer.
-
Tested manually installed TTF fonts to verify that Figma can still detect and use local fonts.
-
Checked the font picker in both Figma Desktop and Figma Web.
Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the issue.
5. Assistance requested
Could you please investigate why Figma suddenly stopped detecting Sandoll Cloud and Adobe Fonts on my Windows system?
In particular, I would like to know:
-
Whether there is a known issue or recent regression affecting cloud-synced fonts on Windows.
-
Why manually installed TTF fonts work while fonts activated through Sandoll Cloud and Adobe Fonts do not.
-
Whether there is a confirmed workaround that would allow me to use my subscribed fonts in Figma again.
-
Whether any additional diagnostic information would help your team identify the cause.
I have an active subscription for the affected Sandoll Cloud fonts and was using them successfully in Figma before this issue occurred. I would prefer to continue using my licensed fonts without having to replace them or convert editable text into outlines.
I have attached screenshots showing the missing font in the font picker and the yellow warning icon next to SD Minburi.
Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your response.
