Figma Make Home Refresh issue

Hi Figma Support Team,

I’m experiencing a recurring issue with Figma Make that’s making it almost impossible to work. Every time I use Make to generate or update something on a page, it completes the action and then automatically refreshes back to the Home screen, closing my active file and interrupting my workflow.

    To help our team investigate, could you please share a few more details? For example:

    • Is this happening in the browser, the desktop app, or both?

    • Does it occur with one specific file or across all your files? Can you open a new file and test it? 

    • What were you doing right before it refreshed back to the Home screen?

    • How many prompts were you submitting, and what kind were they (short, long, or detailed)?

     

    These details will really help us narrow things down. Thanks so much for your help!

    Since we never heard back from UIPLAY, we never reached a solution that we can share. 

    To help investigate this for you, can you please let us know the following?

    • Is this happening in the browser, the desktop app, or both?

    • Does it occur with one specific Make file or across all of your Figma Make files?

    • What were you doing right before Make refreshed and led you back to the Home screen?

    • How many prompts had you submitted, and what were they short, long, or detailed?

     

    With a few more details, we can pass this onto our Figma Make team to investigate further.

    • In the Figma Make app
    • So far, I only used one Figma Make file, but this file is big within it there are multiple pages
    • This Figma Make file is shared between me and another designer, since it is a larger app, has many prompts and versions (3000). The prompts can be long or short to detailed

      Here is the issue: when I ask Figma Make to create an interior page for an app from the main page and Figma Make does it thing to create the interior page.

      Then, looking at the interior page, I add prompt to ask Figma Make to make changes to it and it does, but once it is done, Figma Make always refresh the app back to the “main” page. 

      This is super annoying because every time when Figma make is done, I have to click around to go back to the interior page I was working on. Is there a way to go around this issue?
