For example, I want “->” in a text field but Figma changes it to “→” How can I prevent that?I’ve tried disabling spell check but it didn't work.

In order to proceed with acquiring Figma licenses (Organization) I need to obtain a quotation.I have made multiple inquires through the Contact Sales team over a period of four months now (first inquiry in December), and still have not received any follow-up whatsoever.Requiring multiple licenses (initial requested quote is for seven full Organization licenses and eleven dev mode Organization licenses).Please have someone contact me ASAP.Thank you,Mark

Previously, when I click 'option' key and hovering on an object, I can see the space between two objects from the frame, however, now I can’t. I have to select two object to check the space between from the panel on the right.  Anyone know how can I call it back? or it’s an official update ?

I can’t click the options from the right half of the "right side menu", such as the border radious, the height (while width field is working) 

I was working in the Figma Desktop app and using a plugin when the file suddenly stopped syncing. It showed as “Not synced” and then became unresponsive.When I tried to reopen the file, the loading bar got stuck near the end and never finished.Here’s what I’ve already tried: Restarting the app Logging in from an incognito browser Duplicating the file (unsuccessful) Moving the file to Drafts Opening the file using ?lite=1 mode None of these helped. All other files in my account (and other accounts) work fine — this issue only affects one specific file.This file is important, and I need help recovering it or restoring a previous working version.

Hi Figma team! Recently I noticed issue with performance.For ex.1. When I click on any frame. Frame becomes active after few millisecond. Not instantly. I compared Figma with Creatie and Motiff. They are selecting layers instantly. (Same as Figma was before) 2. Moving (dragging) elements also has some delay (in milliseconds) If I click on any frame and move by dragging, it delays a little bit.  3. Jumping between pages slowed down, in other word, when I click to other page it loads a bit longer (even if page has few frames.) Before in figma, switching between pages was instantly. Until recent update Figma was very fast. That's why I switched from Sketch.  I can record a video as proof. (Sorry my english is not good to explain)Thanks!

I have a centralized library of components that I reuse in many prototypes. One of these is a login component. The login component has a button that will change the variant from a keyboard login to a badge scan illustration.The problem: When I create an instance of this component in a separate prototype file, the button will switch to the badge illustration variant, but any interaction that I apply to that badge illustration to navigate to another screen simply won’t work after the variant change occurs. If I change it so the instance begins with the badge scan variant, then the interaction works fine. But I need the default to be the keyboard.

Using Outline Stroke in Figma creates vectors with an excessive number of points, making manual editing harder and potentially affecting performance in complex files. It would be helpful to have an option to auto-optimize paths or simplify vectors immediately after outlining.

Hello, maybe someone can give me some information? Is the problem mentioned in the subject line a known beta bug that will be fixed? I would like to design a “site”, but if I can't show my client the project with the correct font, it doesn't make sense for me.

Hey Community,been observing an issue for a while now while working with Branches and Merges and was wondering whether this happens to you guys, too, and what the hell causes it.I have a component set with a few variants; let’s say, a Chip component with different size variants. All of them have a nested instance of another component, which is called State Layer. This State Layer unifies all interaction states and changes, when interacting with a component, where it’s used, such as the Chip. It is positioned absolutely, spans the entire surface of the affected component and is set to Top/Bottom, Left/Right to scale properly.To not disturb the developers in dev mode with this helper component and its layers, we usually lock it as designers can access its props from the instance Chip, etc., so there’s no need to have its layers available for scanning.Now, I don’t know, whether this is a Branch/Merge issue or related to something else, but, what I noticed during my work on the branch, whe

guys GUYS can someone please help me >.< i started a project and still in the wireframe stage but when i try to view how it looks my preview is just blank.. ive tried everything - making sure everything is in frame - clearing my cache, resetting the laptop - everything i know. also when i open a new file and start a new project the preview is blank too but i can still preview my  old projects. pls send help SOS

I have a few prototypes I’m working on, and whenever I scroll in the prototype presentation view, it will jump either up or down and totally glitch in terms of the scroll amount. I’ve tried all sorts of things like wrapping any components in Frames, removing any fixed position elements, and simplifying it as mush as possible — it’s still happening. Is this a known Figma bug that others are encountering? Thanks!

I’m followingg the beginner tutorial. I’m on chapter 14. The converting of ONE LINE OF TEXT to a frame selection freezes everything and forces me to restart, then I do the same 1000 times and still not working. It’s a bug!

I’m looking into Figma Draw vs Adobe Illustrator and noticing some inconsistencies when using vector tools such as expanding / outlining strokes. Below I’ve attached two screenshots of the letter “e”. The black is from Adobe and the white is from Figma. This “e” was created using Georgia font as the default style, expanded to vector, sized to be 62.9px tall (specific for my use case), given a 2px outer stroke, and then expanded to vector again. AdobeFigmaAs you can see, the Figma version has much more vector points. Though Adobe does have an extra line between the expansions (not sure if this is intentional or a bug, its always happened).The rendering issue becomes more apparent when using the shape builder tool. As you can see, the Figma version has extra lines and loses the hole in the “e” whereas Adobe’s tool seamlessly combines the different sections. Hi Figma Team,I encountered an issue while working on my design. I applied a gradient to the stroke of an element, which rendered perfectly in Figma. However, when I tried to publish the design to a live site, I received an error stating that "gradient stroke is not possible."This was quite surprising, as applying gradients to strokes is a fairly basic and common design requirement. It enhances visual richness and is supported in many modern design tools.Could you please help me understand why Figma doesn't support exporting gradient strokes, Is there a workaround or any upcoming update planned to support this functionality?Looking forward to your clarification.

The 'figma make' feature keeps being invisible.I've paid for a Professional full seat, and even turned on the AI toggle in admin-setting, but it's still not showing up.It's the same even after clearing the browser cache and re-logging in.

Hi folks,In our Design System, we utilize a Paper base component to standardize surfaces for things like Card, Menu, Popper, etc. The Paper itself contains information regarding surface color, elevation and border levels. It is nested inside the aforementioned components, absolutely positioned and constraints set to top/bottom, left/right, so it will automatically change its size according to the parent’s frame, and locked, so it does not bug the developers, when analyzing in Dev Mode, nor does the designer accidentally select and change it while trying to manipulate something else.The issueLet’s take a Popper as an example for my issue. Hello.Is this a bug?I have a set of variables to control layout in Desktop, Tablet and Mobile breakpoints.If I apply a variable width to a frame and switch it back to Fill container, it reverts back to the variable width when I switch to the other breakpoints. I’m constant re-applying Fill container.Does Figma somehow remember the previous setting and revert back to it? Infuriating.Or is it me?Thanks,Will

Hi,I transferred a project from my personal Figma account to my school account, expecting to access the Education Plan features. However, the project is now behaving no differently than a personal project, and I’m trying to move it back to my personal account. Unfortunately, I keep encountering the error message shown above.To clarify: The top account is my personal account — it appears to still own the team and can edit the project. The bottom account is my school account — listed as the project owner, but it can't transfer or manage the project. The project doesn’t even appear on the school account's home screen. It seems I'm stuck in a loop where neither account has full control, and I urgently need to resolve this before my school account access expires.Could you please help me regain proper ownership or provide a way to transfer the project back?Thanks in advance!
