Hey @Julianne Brooks, thanks for reaching out!

To better understand what’s happening, could you please clarify a few details?

  • Are you exporting specific frames from your file as a PDF, or downloading the entire file as a .fig ?

  • When you mention “delayed photos,” do you mean that images take a while to load when you open the PDF, or when opening your .fig file?

  • If possible, could you share a screen recording showing the steps you’re taking and where the blurriness appears?

This info will help me pinpoint what’s going. Thank you for your help!

That sounds frustrating! It usually happens when the PDF is saved with low image quality. Try exporting it again using high-resolution settings or the “Print to PDF” option — that often clears up the blurriness and makes the file load faster. Hope that helps! 👍

Hey @Julianne Brooks, thank you for sharing those screenshots!

Just to clarify, did you happen to use the TinyImage Compressor plugin to export the frame?
If so, it may help to reach out directly to the plugin creator for troubleshooting. On their plugin page, they mention that any bugs or issues can be reported through this contact form, and they’ll be able to take a closer look.

If you exported directly from Figma, the export will capture the images as they appear in the loaded state at that moment. For higher-resolution images, it’s best to make sure they’ve fully loaded before exporting, sometimes a slower network connection can cause the export to appear blurry.

If you’re open to it, feel free to share your file link and invite support-share@figma.com with “can edit” access so I can check it on my end and see if I can reproduce the issue. (Users with @figma.com emails don’t count toward your billing.)

And if you’d rather not share the link publicly, you can DM me instead and let me know here under this post.

Thank you,

Gayani
