Report a Problem

I really need help. My original Figma account was hacked, and someone changed the registered email address without my permission. I can no longer log in or receive any password reset emails. This account contains more than 5–6 years of all my design work, projects, and everything I’ve built as a designer. These files are extremely important to me.I still own and control the original email address that was used to register the account. I also accidentally created a new empty Figma account later, but I have already changed its email to free up my original email.I have sent emails to Figma support and submitted a ticket, but I haven’t received a reply yet. I’m not a paid user, but these files are irreplaceable to my career and life.Has anyone else experienced this? Can someone from Figma Support please help me recover my account and restore my original email? I can provide any proof to verify that I am the rightful owner.I’m really anxious and desperate for help. Thank you so much.

Hi team, I have a professional account that I’m paying yearly under email: [redacted by forum moderator to remove PII]I no long have access to that email due to closure of the business and I cannot access when I go through the 2FA process. Is there another way? Maybe via my mobile number? Or another email?

Members of our team are unable to register accounts and also fail to receive the relevant emails. However, the email addresses of the other people are correct. When we send them emails, they can also receive them.

Hello, classic cmd+c is great if I need to take my notes from figma to another place, such as a company chat. Here is the sticky-note with almost all layers used and visible: Here is the sticky note and what is copied:I think this is unexpected behavior. What do you think?

When I try to open a branch from the main file by clicking “Open,” nothing happens. There’s no loading state or error message, it just doesn’t respond. The workaround I found is to open it directly from the Home screen or by copying the branch link and opening it using “Open file URL from Clipboard”

Hello Figma Support Team,I was charged for the Full Professional Plan in a monthly basis when I did not change my seat since I purchased my annual Collab Professional Plan. I looked at when the seat change was made according to the invoice and it was Feb 16. I did not have any activity history on figma a month ago to accidentally change my seat. Please, I am a student and I dont have a lot of money, I cannot afford 208 dollars. I would never make that change. I was not even notified that my seat was changed on Feb 16 2026. I was not even on Figma when I was charged at 1:22am. Please review this change, I swear I didnt make any changes on Feb 16, please i dont have the money. Thank you.

Body (최적화 버전)Hello,I would like to ask for clarification regarding my recent billing. On March 9, I paid $16.50 for a Dev Seat, which should cover the billing period until April 8.The invoice code for that payment is LYKGRSYB-0001.While working in my workspace, I accidentally upgraded a team member to a Full Seat.I understand that this action was my mistake, and I am not requesting a refund for the seat upgrade itself. However, I noticed that my upcoming invoice shows a charge of $40 for two Full Seats on April 9.Since I had already paid for the Dev Seat on March 9, I expected that upgrading to a Full Seat during the same billing cycle would only charge the prorated difference between the Dev Seat and the Full Seat, rather than a full additional charge.Because of this, I would like to confirm whether the current billing correctly reflects the previously paid Dev Seat period (March 9 – April 8).Could you please help review this billing and clarify: Why the $40 charge for two Full Seats ap

URGENT: I’m a university student that cannot verify my student status on Figma and SheerID won't provide me any further assistance. Is there any way I can receive help

Hello Figma Support, We noticed that the price of our subscription has changed compared to last year, and the total amount charged (including taxes) is significantly higher than what we previously paid. Could you please clarify why the subscription price and tax amount have changed for our account? Since this payment appears to be higher than expected, we would like to request cancellation or reversal of the latest charge so that we can review the correct pricing and complete the payment again with the proper amount. We would appreciate your help in resolving this. Thank you in advance for your support.

Dear Figma Support Team,I am contacting you regarding the activation of the Figma Education plan.I have already submitted the verification form and also contacted SheerID via email several times. However, the verification process has not been successful. In my submissions, I have provided all the required information and supporting documents confirming that I am a lecturer at my university. For verification, I used my institutional email address. However, my Figma account is registered with my personal email, which is the account that should receive the Education plan if my eligibility is approved.Institutional Email: [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII]Personal Figma Account Email: [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PIIProgram ID: 689a65716d6a3a59de4ff268I would greatly appreciate it if your team could review my case and help resolve this verification issue so that the Figma Education plan can be activated. Please let me know if any additional information is requi

i have a tight deadline.so can you fix that as soon as possible

I am testing the capabilities of Slots in the design system I am working on. I noticed a strange phenomenon and wanted to find out if anyone else has experienced it and if it is just a bug or a change in the behaviour of Slots after the first release. I have a component with slots ready, dated 6 March, and drag & drop works fine when placing content in the slot (as was shown in the Figma tutorial video). On Monday, 9 March, I recreated an identical component, but drag & drop no longer works in it. I can only copy the content and paste it into the slot, and after pasting the content, the drag & drop option suddenly ‘unlocks’. When the component has nothing in the slot, drag & drop does not work. However, it works perfectly in components created a few days earlier.

We're currently experiencing an issue with Google authentication in our Figma Make + Supabase setup. When a user attempts to sign up using their Google account, the user is successfully created in Supabase, but the OAuth callback URL doesn't work as expected. As a result, the user isn't redirected to the authenticated part of the application. This breaks the login flow, effectively preventing access to the app despite the user being created in the Supabase auth table.

Dear Figma Support Team,I am writing to request a review and restoration of my suspended account ([redacted by moderator to remove personal information]). The last action I performed was publishing my own work to the Figma Community, which I created entirely from scratch and not from any copyrighted or third-party files. Because of this, I believe the suspension may have been made in error. This account is my primary and only account for daily professional work, and unfortunately I have not yet created backups of my team projects or files. The suspension is therefore very concerning and is currently impacting my ability to continue working. I also did not receive any prior notice or explanation regarding this action.I am fully willing to provide any information, verification, or credentials needed to assist your review. I respect Figma’s policies and would never intentionally violate them, and I sincerely hope this matter can be resolved so I may regain access as soon as possible.Thank

Hey. When I open my project it is not loading. The app details in terms of the prompts I put in are available and I can see them on the left side but the app itself and everything I have created so far seems to be gone. There is a notification on the screen that says ‘I couldn’t solve this one. Ask Figma to fix it.’ Even the preview panel in the drafts no longer shows anything. It looks blank. Here is the link:

We had a disgruntled employee permanently delete the majority of our files. I was working with a customer support person on Friday but they logged off for the day before it was resolved. He restored some files that were deleted but none of our primary ones were restored. This is urgent for my organization and represents years of work. Can someone jump on this issue ASAP to help me finish the process? The ticket number is: 1781840

My client has sent me an invitation several times to view and edit a file. I keep getting a notification that ‘I’m outside their organization and need to request access’. When I click on the ‘Request Access’ button it says my request is still pending. However they don’t see any request in Figma on their end.

I recently bought the Figma Collab plan, not realizing that it wouldn’t let me edit my own projects unless I also purchased a Full Seat. When I tried to modify my file, I was prompted to upgrade to a Full Seat. At first, I thought it might be due to admin permissions, since I own the file. However, after clicking “Get a Full Seat,” an invoice for $156.00 was generated, and it’s scheduled to be charged on April 10.I need help canceling the Full Seat and the $156 charge.

Just a quick tip for everyone, since components have a crazy way of disappearing at some point, and brining them back is impossible, even if trying to access version history, my advice is create a broken down version of each component just to replace it easier and not having to recreate it again when it happens. Basically duplicate every component, break them apart, and just keep them just in case.

During student authentication, it has not been in progress for 5 days due to exceeding the verification limit. Please solve it

Hello,My student verification through SheerID was approved on Feb 28, 2026.However, my Figma account still asks me to verify my student status.Verification ID: 69a030ed3e5c4052f78065cbCould someone help apply the education plan to my account?

I need to add a new user to our figma account. We have open seats, I am an admin and I don’t have the ability to do this (see screenshot).  This is critical for a new designer who needs access by 3/13.
