Unable to publish Figma plugin. INVALID_SUPPORT_CONTACT with a valid email

Trying to publish my Figma plugin, but getting an error saying “Please fill out required fields and correct any errors”.

On the frontend, I don’t see any fields highlighted with errors.

When inspecting console logs, I see a ton of warnings being thrown for INVALID_SUPPORT_CONTACT even though the support contact I’ve entered is a valid email address. I’ve also tried a website url, a different email address, and nothing works.

Please help. Don’t know what else to do/try here.

I just created a community profile ~5 hours before I created this post. I need to publish a figma plugin to my organization. I’ve been following this guide and made sure all fields are correctly populated. However publish is blocked due to error “Please fill out required fields and correct any errors”, and the last page auto-scrolls to “Community Terms of Service” section, even though I have the agreement check box checked.

I inspected the console and found multiple errors regarding community_publishers being null, which I believe is the root cause.

Need help as I am fully blocked.

I’m getting the exact same error which is a relief as this must be a tooling error and not something we’re doing.

Right now, at the final stage of submitting the plugin for moderation, I’m getting the error "Please fill out required fields and correct any errors" without any indication of which specific fields are problematic.
Also, in the post author’s screenshot, I can see a ToS checkbox that for some reason I don’t have, which is strange.
I’d like to make sure our issue is heard and that we are informed about the expected timeframe for a fix.

Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to report this and for providing the steps leading up to the issue. The screenshots and console details are very helpful.

I can't access account settings or make adjustments from Figma Forum, but I've raised the issues you've reported here, including the community_publishers errors, to the appropriate team for a closer look. We'll follow up with an update as soon as we have more information.

Sorry for the disruption this is causing to your workflows. Please don't hesitate to reply here with any new details or if things improve on your end. Appreciate your patience.

Hey everyone, Celine from Figma Community here! Thanks for flagging this, and sorry you’re running into issues when publishing your plugin.

We’d like the team to take a closer look. To help us investigate, could you please go directly to the Support Hub / Click Start a chat / Type “Report a bug”

Please include in the form:

  • The URL of the impacted file and shared with support-share@figma.com and grant "Can View" access
  • Attach a screenshot / video recording when you encounter the error message
    This will help us reproduce the issue and investigate further. Once you’ve submitted, feel free to let me know and I can help escalate it internally. Thanks!

At the final stage of submitting the plugin for moderation, I’m getting the error "Please fill out required fields and correct any errors" without any indication of which specific fields are problematic.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Select the plugin in the "Manage plugins in development" window and click "Publish";

  2. The "Publish plugin" window will open, and these errors will immediately appear in the console;

  3. Fill in all required fields in the window;

  4. Click "Publish";

  5. The text "Please fill out required fields and correct any errors" will appear in the bottom-left corner of the window.

    It is unclear which exact fields are being referred to; essentially, submitting the plugin for moderation is impossible.

I have the same issue.

The file shows an error toast stating “Failed to load fields”

Failed to load fields toast with Retry button

This leads me to believe that there are required input fields that are failing to load in the Publish Plugin wizard.

As they don’t load then they can’t be completed which prevents the plugin from being published.

The developer console throws the following error:

Edited this message because I mismatched the topic; I read Figma kit instead of Figma plugin.
