Hi there! I’ve been loving the new annotations feature, but have been experiencing an issue with it over the past couple of days. When I’m looking through my designs and try to zoom in, all of the annotations disappear before I can get close enough to see what they’re attached to. Has anyone else experienced this?

Just started running into this today with one particular annotation.

The bounds of my outermost frame were smaller than the content within it (This was on purpose to allow for scrolling in prototypes)

The element I was trying to annotate was outside of those bounds, but it was still visible since I didn’t have “clip to content” enabled on the frame.

I made the outer frame larger to fully contain all the content and that seemed to stop the annotation from disappearing on zoom.

@Jaclyne_Ooi1 Thank you so much for your response! It seems like that’s the issue! Hopefully it’s something they fix in the future because we usually design with a smaller frame to allow for scrolling too.

Hi. I have the same bug, they keep disappearing and appearing whenever they want, when I zoom in they are invisible and right after I make one it also disappears. Very cool feature but so far making me very frustrated.

@Lasma I found that the highlighted answer from @Jaclyne_Ooi1 gave me context as to why they’re disappearing. When I design, I have the frame at the height of whatever screen I’m designing for, so when there are annotations on content that technically goes off of the frame, those tend to disappear. Definitely an annoying bug, so hopefully they fix it soon!!
