Hi Figma Support Team,

I am writing to report a persistent issue where I am unable to receive account verification codes, although I am still receiving other regular notifications and emails from Figma.

To resolve this, I have already taken the following steps:

  • Whitelisting: I have added support@figma.com to my email whitelist (allowlist).

  • Provider Consultation: I contacted my email service provider regarding this issue. Their technical team suggested that if the sender's address is already whitelisted but the email still doesn't arrive, the problem likely lies with the sender's SPF/DMARC verification configuration.

Specifically, my provider stated: "If the sender has SPF/DMARC verification issues, they need to adjust their mailing configuration on their end."

Could you please have your technical team investigate if there are any authentication or delivery failures specifically related to the verification code emails sent to my account?

Account Information:

  • Figma Account Email: [redacted by forum moderator to remove PII]

Thank you for your assistance in resolving this matter.

Best regards,

yeye

Hey @wangyeye, thank you for flagging this!

First, let me ask a few questions to better understand your situation:

  1. What type of educational institution are you at? (High school, college/university, or bootcamp/online course)
  2. Are you using a school-issued email address to log into your Figma account, or a personal email?

In the meantime, here are some steps that often help with verification email issues:

Try the incognito method:

  1. Open your email app in an incognito/private browser window
  2. Open another tab in the same incognito window and log into Figma
  3. Right-click to open the "Verify email" link using the incognito window

Check your email requirements:

  • You must use a school-issued email address for verification, personal emails aren't accepted (read more)
  • If you created your Figma account with a personal email, you'll need to request to move Figma Edu Status via this form.

Once I know more about your specific situation, I can provide more targeted guidance for your verification process.
