Hello Figma Team,I’m a student at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (Graphic and Web Design, expected graduation 2027). For my coursework, I need access to a project in Figma that my professor invited me to. Unfortunately, I’ve been completely blocked by SheerID’s broken verification process.Here’s what happened: I entered all my details correctly (school, program, dates, etc.). SheerID didn’t respond for days and then simply closed my case, saying they “were unable to process the request.” I offered multiple times to provide documents (passport, student ID, enrollment confirmation), even to join a video call - they just ignored this. I have reached out to Figma support several times, but every time I only get the same response: “Please contact SheerID.” But what am I supposed to do if SheerID does not reply and simply ignores my requests?   This is absolutely u

I’m trying to find the CSS properties in dev tools for the glass effect, but can’t find any styles related to it at all. How do I share this with devs? There’s nothing as much as even a background blur mentioned. the only styles I can find are border radius and bg color, both of which I applied to my comp, and are not related to the glass effect at all. All help is much appreciated. TIA

If I have an element under an absolute in the layout, I can click on the element under that absolute, which is very annoying. I have multiple simultaneous clicks in my prototype.

Hi. I’m currently participating in a online bootcamp/school. The bootcamp admins asked for re-verification for all of us students but it’s still in the proces from Figma’s side. (Same as support tickets from the teachers)I tried to submit a support ticket myself, but was told to write here as I’m a student and don’t have a paid plan yet, so no direct support for me 😥The problem:Some of us students have warning that the education status has expired just on the left panel, some of us have it in yellow at the top panel and I myself and few other students are fully "locked" out of our homeworks and can only view thgem without being ablet do rest of them on time to get our marks.  We have last 10 days of our bootcamp and can’t finish it.Is there any way how to sort that kind of a problem? Thanks~

I encountered an odd problem about using “figma.createImage” to create a image hash. I have 3000+ image urls, I want to fetch image data, then convert to image hash  to display. When an error occurs, the console shows: "in :<unknow> Attempted to invoke callback with invalid id -xxxx". Can I somehow skip all the undeletable “custom style” and see my actual work palette as first thing in design mode? 

I’ve been working on a branch for some time and just went to merge it back into master but there’s no option to do so?  I’ve also realised that if i try to copy anything from the branch it doesn’t copy into a new figma file at all, neither can I copy into this branch from master or another figma file either. It’s like the branch itself is no longer there but it does appear in the list of all branches still… I can’t even create a new branch and copy it all over and merge it that way as it doesn’t let me copy the elements!  Has anyone come across this same issue?   

In Figma Slides, when navigating to Grid view, you are able to configure the Page color. But when doing so, nothing changes. The background of the canvas remains #F5F5F5. It would be helpful to be able to differentiate the color of your slides from the background if the slide background is also #F5F5F5 (or a similar light grey).

I’m using videos in my web prototype, however their previewing as crusty and pixellated. The videos uploaded are small (6mb) and I’m currently not even using them fullscreen. Is there a setting that I have done wrong, or is there a work around?

Hey,I wanted to upgrade my plan to a Professional plan, but I constantly ran into this problem with the billing address and telling me that my country does not support the currency.I filled in the credit card details and my billing address correctly. For context purposes, I live in the netherlands and pay in euros like everyone else and my credit card details are correct. I re-tried it multiple times. I find it weird to come along such a problem. Could I get help with this? 

All of our team members are facing issue in using figjam related to Memory issues asking to open in recovery mode only.We never faced this issue ever in Miro would really appreciate if there is an hack for this, tried multiple ways but can’t find the option to reduce memory.

We are currently encountering different behaviors between Plugin API and Rest API when exporting images. Here is a frame, with 3 comments on the frame: As soon as I turn the frame into a section, the comments scatter. Why does this happen?  

I think I found a bug. Sometimes the “Remove Interaction” button in the interactions disppears. I don’t know what exactly triggers it, but it’s been happening to me a few times. Only way to fix is to restart Figma. I couldn’t take a screen shot of my mouse, but when i hover over where the remove button would be, the tooltip comes up and when i click it does remove the interaction. just doesn’t show up!Specs:Device: Macbook ProVersion: Desktop App 125.7.5

Why have my curved lines gone from this (left) and this (right)? This looks hideous, and figjam won’t let me change it or CTRL + Z. Please tell me this isn’t some hideous update they’ve made on purpose.

What i am trying to show in the image is, when said user clicks on “MENU” I want the nav at the top to slide down into the home page. I understand how to do this on figma design but I have no clue how to do it on figma sites. This is a reference video for what I am going for: Howe​ver when I try to link the menu button with the nav the  option shows an “X”.Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is my first project on Figma Sites and I’ve enjoyed the experience thus far.  ​​​​​​

Hello!Please fix this focus change from the tool we are working on to the file changes update status icon.We are typing, but as soon as the latest changes are disconnected or not synced with the server, the focus jumps to the unsaved changes icon, preventing us from continuing our work, and this happens a lot!In these cases, I have to wait for the changes to be saved or click the mouse again on the area I was working on to return the focus to that area and tool!And if there is any solution to solve my problem in Figma settings, so please let me know!

Every time I want to build my site, it’s preventing me from being able to center align with auto layout. It was working all this time until yesterday… How do I allow it revert back to the original status where I can center-align my sites without being pinged with warnings?

I need to have support for refund of our subscription since this will not be used anymore. We need assistance ASAP. Thanks.
