If we have a design system, do we also create design local component page in our product files? For example, if we have different row data across multiple tables in our product, do we need to create those row tables as components on our own product pages?

Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out how to download .fig files using the Figma API, similar to how the Magicul app does it. I found that Figma’s API doesn’t allow direct downloading of .fig files, and the .fig format seems to be mainly for manual backups. 

Hello, just started the “Site” project in Figma and noticed many times that the design I see in working interface and in the preview are different. It happened many times and I just tried to avoid the problem, but this time I don’t know what to do. When a word is bold and is misspelled, selecting a spelling recommendation removes the text styling. This does the same thing with color, it’s very annoying! You can see the “:” is still bold after the spell change, but “Recommendation” isn’t.

We were working with someone at Figma to get full access for our teachers and students, but she is no longer getting back to us so we can't move on.  Does anyone have a contact to get this moving?  I tried the Support Center and the Chat, but I am getting nowhere.  I don’t want to start over.  We already had the Education Order Form completed and signed.

Dear Figma support team,in my last billing period I accidentally assigned a full seat to another email with viewing rights. Once I realized the mistake, I assigned it back to view-only immediately. But in the monthly invoice a 20$ one-time charges and credits appeared. I assume it’s for the accidentally assigned full seat. But since that wasn’t used at all, I would like to kindly request a possibility for refund. I understand your policy, but I would appreciate you reviewing this case for refund.Thank you!

I'm experiencing an issue with the brush tool in Figma's drawing environment.I have a simple drawing tablet with a pressure sensor. When I was drawing, I noticed that the stroke was responding to pressure – the harder I pressed with my pen, the thicker the line became, which was great!However, this functionality suddenly stopped working. Now, no matter how much pressure I apply, the stroke remains uniform.Has anyone encountered this problem before, or does anyone know what might have happened or how to fix it?

I can’t for the life of me figure this one out. We have a card design with a BG image and some overlay graphics on top. The bottom level is a label and a text box with a BG. The text box should scale with the top level which is the image & have a minimum width at the same time if there is not enough text to fill the full width. However it seems like it is impossible to do without making it fill the entire top level?   

Let me explain what I need, and hopefully someone can tell me if it’s possible.I already have a fully coded and functional design system. What I want is to design in Figma using my existing design system components — but instead of Figma Make recreating all the components from scratch (which isn’t useful for my workflow), I’d like Figma Make to pull the actual code of these components directly from my existing sources (e.g., GitHub, Storybook, etc.).I can connect all the components using Code Connect UI but that don’t do anything for the Figma Make Is that possible?

I have searched for this answer in the forum, but haven’t been able to my situation represented yet - so here goes: I am a design manager who needs access to all projects in my company, but do not want the notifications for all projects. Currently I am unable to find, either within the Mac desktop app or the we app, where within a specific project there is an ability to turn off notifications (currently getting both a pile of emails, as well as Slack notifications in our generic Slack integration- not channel specific). Any help to turn off one project notifications would be greatly appreciated!

I face problem like, I create a single frame inside a frame but after sometimes i see that there is multiple frames. Why this happenning? 

I couldn't verify using our school email even though our school is listed in the school list—it throws an error. I've emailed SheerID support, filled out their support form, and done everything possible, but I can see now that Figma and SheerID are not respecting our time and not taking our concerns seriously. When i have my app in preview mode you can select iphone 16 etc and how what it looks like in a real phone. however when you click full screen mode - to say share with stakeholders the app becomes all disjointed/looks messy - is there a way to share your figma make design in the iphone mode - like we do with figma prototypes?also ive tried to change the light grey background colour in the code and doesn’t seem to work - any ideas?

Hi, we were setting up our color variables for light and dark mode and noticed that the preview of the colors in dark mode do not represent the actual value behind it. Anyone has any idea why this happens and how to fix it?  A little backstory, we have set up core, base and applied tokens in the variables window. The base level is where we set up theming. However, in our applied level we sometimes overwrite a color for a specific token in dark mode. However, when we do this, the preview seems to show the colors as presented in light mode instead of dark mode. When we actually apply the token, it all works properly, it is just the preview in the variables window that shows the wrong color.

In prototype mode when you change the animation type (smart animate, dissolve, instant etc) it resets the duration each time.It’s quite annoying as if I’m trying to experiment with different animation effects It’s also changing the duration. They should be seperate changes.

No condition needed; you’ve already decided it’s the final balloon. If you must keep a variable/condition (e.g., only navigate when poppedCount == 8): Create a Number variable in a collection called AppState. On each balloon instance’s click: Set variable AppState.poppedCount = AppState.poppedCount + 1

Hello,I am needing help on getting the balloons to pop and go to the next page. I’ve used the following: Select the Component Set (the top-level that holds both “Default” and “Popped”). Look in the Prototype panel on the right. If there’s a “Delay → Next Frame” interaction here, delete it — it affects all variants. Now click the “Default” variant (inside the component set). Add only this interaction: Trigger: On Tap Action: Change to → Popped Animation: Smart Animate Then click the “Popped” variant. Add this interaction: Trigger: After delay (300 ms)
