Bug: Unexpected behavior for variant order (Figma Design)

This is a weird one…

I have a component in a library that has variants for sizes, in order from smallest to biggest:

When I insert the component instance in a different Figma file, the order is screwed up, and the smallest option appears at the end:
 

Fun part: This only happens if the instance is inserted in a different Figma file. If I insert the component instant (via the Assets tab) in the actual library it is in, this doesn’t happen.

And yes, this is the published version of the component. We only found out because a designer asked us to fix the order, but on our side it looked good...
