I have a list on the left of the screen and the details of the selected item on the right. User can click the accept risk button to change the state (from new to accepted) I am trying to get the icon in the list to change depending on if the user accepts the risk or not. To do this, I am trying to use the boolean variables in Figma. I have these two boolean variables: I have created a custom icon so that the variant props match this (I don’t know if that matters, I actually tried it both ways and neither time did it work) I tie

 The slide deck continually says to open in recovery mode, but each time it tries it just says the same thing. I’ve tried it in the app and on several different computers. Example: https://fontawesome.com/icons/magnifying-glass?f=classic&s=regular I have an issue with font awesome rendering in Figma. When I copy the icon glyph itself on URL above (on the upper right in the modal) and paste it into figma, font awesome renders it as icon. If I copy the icon name “magnifying-glass” as text and apply font awesome to it, it doesn’t work half the time and renderds as plain text. Anyone knows what is causing this? It’s a problem since devs can’t see the icon’s name when inspecting if I copy paste the icon itself. 

Hello,For the past three years, I have been using Figma with an Education account. I am continuing my studies for two more years, so I recently applied again for the Education plan. However, when I try to submit the application, the form refuses my student CEVc code, even though it is valid.Could you please help me resolve this issue so I can access the Education plan again?Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I’m using Untitled UI to create some of my screens. I dragged and dropped components from its 2 main files (variables and examples). The problem is that now, I have components that “inherit” values from 2 different palettes. The main issue with this is that when I try to switch a whole screen from “Dark mode” to “Light mode”, some components won’t switch, as they inherit values from the other file. How can I solve this? Hope someone can clarify as i’m struggling to get an answer.An external designer has created an icon font for us. I have uploaded this to the resources section which enables me to use and edit the font in a design file (without having it installed in my Mac font book)However another external designer “Guest” who has a full design seat, gets an notification when they open the file with this typeface to swap it to one installed on their system.I then checked with an internal designer (non guest) and they can see and edit the typeface without it being in their font book too.Can anyone clarify who is able to use the typeface? its seems a little pointless adding to resources if some designers still have to have have it installed, doesn't feel logical.Is it only guests that can’t use it unless its installed on their system?

Everytime I leave Figma window to go to another window, I get this “New available font: Raleway” notifications. Why is this happening? How do i turn it off?

Hi there,the first draft feature is really useful to make wireframes. However I sometimes need to alter these manually after generating them, but the used Libraries are not available. Or did I just not find them?It would be really useful if they could be provided as a library or UI Kit in Figma, to use the same components to keep refining the wireframes in further iterations after the first generation.Thanks for considering publishing these,all the bestMikka

Struggling a bit with what I had hoped was easy. First time building in Figma sites.I have a button with typical states (default, hover, clicked, etc.) that I want to function as an anchor link to some information lower on the page. However, it seems that it is associating the ‘Scroll To’ functionality with the state instead of the overall component. I see the hover state and then nothing happens in the clicked state. It does work when I use “Scroll To” with another component that doesn’t have hover or clicked states. It also works fine with just a ordinary object.I have tried with both the Interactions (because you can animate the transition) and the Link method. Linking to another page from this button does not work either. Feels like bug, right? 

 Hi everyone!My problem isn’t new to this community - I’ve read a ton of threads about ghost variables.The point is, my variables are not displayed under “Used” group, they were “created in this file”. The “detach deleted variables” plugin doesn’t work, bc apparently they are still used somewhere. I’ve checked my Variables panel, it’s clean, I’ve also checked all of my text styles for any rogue size/line height or spacing variable - they are all in place.I’m silently going crazy over here. Is there any solution, apart from detaching all the text styles and reattaching them again. Also when I’m switching these modes, nothing is happening, otherwise that would be too easy.Any help appreciated! 

After exporting a project from Figma Make to GitHub, the images are broken, cannot be opened or viewed, and are not displayed in the application. If you read their type via `file image.png`, you get ASCII text instead of png. The only way to get the correct versions of the photos is to download the archive with the code generated by Figma Make.

I have an issue with my Education Plan verification and haven't received any response from the Education team, even after sending multiple emails.SheerID confirmed that I was already verified for the Figma Education offer on September 10, 2025, but my Figma account still shows an error (“verification limit exceeded”), and some of my files are locked.I have emailed education@figma.com several times over the past weeks, but I still haven’t received any reply.  Could someone from the Figma team please help look into this? It’s affecting my work, and I really need my account updated.Thank you in advance!

I'm having a persistent issue linking Figma designs in JiraI’ve tried logging out and back in, switching to a different browser, and checking my connected apps in Figma (I don’t have any). I also don’t see any option to link it. Figma is already connected in Jira, and my colleagues aren’t experiencing this issue, so it appears to be specific to my account.

Hi everyone,I lost my Figma Education status and can’t renew it because the system says I can’t self-verify — it must be verified by my bootcamp. However, I’m taking the UX/UI Design course on Coursera, which doesn’t have administrators who can handle the verification.I only had access to the Figma Education plan for a couple of months before this issue started, and I haven’t been able to renew it since. Hi, I used to be able to move objects by 10 pixels in any direction while holding the measure to selection button (option or Alt + Shift and move). But now when I do this, the object does not move anymore, but it shows measurements to objects which are further away. Did I activate this by accident? I want to be able to move 10 pixels while measuring.
