I deleted my account yesterday but before doing that i had transferred ownership months ago and the person didn’t accept the transfer. currently they cannot access the files that i worked on due to the deletion of the account, please how do i recover the account?

Hi,I’ve been locked out of my student account, despite attempting to re-verify several times. I have been using my school issued email address. The verification message says that I have already redeemed the offer or have been verified but I’m still locked out and cannot edit or access my files. Please help.

Hi, I’m having trouble uploading specific custom font weights to my Figma Site. My site doesn’t need all of these fonts but, once I started having issues uploading certain font weights, I wanted to test how many were unreadable/incompatible. All of the font weights listed are used in my Figma Site but Figma says it “doesn’t match any font in use” when I go to upload the corresponding woff2 file.  

This didn't happen before. But, as if due to recent updates, the temperature is now constantly at 70 degrees Celsius, and the computer is extremely noisy due to the fan. The processor is at 11% load. In the browser version, the temperature is 60 degrees Celsius, but the processor is at 5%. Therefore, there's no noise.It's uncomfortable to work in the browser version, but it's even more uncomfortable when the fan is incredibly noisy. What could be the problem?

 Hello,I'm facing a problem. I removed all my text styles from my component library so I could only manipulate variables in sub-libraries or in files that utilize my core library.Surprisingly, even after numerous publishing, unpublishing, and republishing attempts, and accepting updates in child files, Figma recreates the styles in instances of my core components within my child files, even though they no longer exist in my library. (See attached screenshots)Can you help me? Has anyone else encountered this behavior and how did you resolve it? I've tried manually removing styles and using a destroyer, but so far nothing has worked.Thanks in advance. 1/ in my design system I have no styles to manage my typography styles (I destroyed them), i only use variables

I am using a robust design system and token library with components that have variants for different states like active, hover, error etc. Our token library has theming for light and dark mode. I would describe our design system as robust and well made using best practices for a mid sized to large design system.I have exported the library for make and the library appears as an option when designing with Make. My issues is that the designs it creates do not resemble our design system. The text input components we use are similar to default Material 3 text fields. The designs created sometimes use a Material UI style but it uses outlined inputs or inputs with detached labels. The colors are sometimes close but it seems truly coincidental and not related to our actual token library.In fact after testing and prodding I see no difference in using our design system library and using no reference. I have been spending half a day trying to make up the mess of the latest Figma update which completely destroyed UI rendering.I have some nested components logics, because it is more efficient for maintenance, and now all of these nested components do not render properly. I tried using "Regenerate all instances" multiple times (which just, weirdly, makes it worse) and also reset and restart the app. Nothing to do. I stopped updating everything because all updates destroy the UI.Please do something. We are spending tons of money on this tool, these type of issues should not happen.

We operate in a collaborative environment across a large organization with workers in many time zones. Frequently, people create designs in their drafts, and then share them without granting the necessary editing permissions to the next people who will pick up their designs — and then are off or unavailable when permission needs to be granted to a new editor. (Often times, they do not know who this new editor will be). All users are part of a specific team, so I’m looking for a solution that, by default: 1. Allows any user in a team to edit another design created by a member of that team, regardless of project…Or by default, when creating a new design, has it created in a new project that everyone on the team has access to?tldr — I need all users of a team to be able to edit all designs created by others on the team, regardless of project or location. I’m using variables for different parts of my text styles in order to create a multi-brand design system. An issue I’ve found is that when I change variable mode the text size doesn’t update, even though other variables update when I swith between the two brand modes. For example the font family is changing as intended, but not the size. However, if I select a component with the text style already in use and reselect the same text style then it updates itself to the correct size. What is causing this and is someone else experiencing this?

I’ve been playing around with figma make and am quite impressed. However, when I copy the file into Figma Design there are quite often problems with the text.  Either it is overlayed or it is forced to a new line. Just thought I’d share for posterity as this almost drove me insane! I’d set up basic light / dark color modes and variables, which worked almost everywhere except for a few frames. It turns out i’d copied some assets from another project, and the appearance tab had exposed the variable modes for them, rather than the ones in the current file. The solution was to go the longer way through [blue] to the variable mode.

Hi Figma Support team,I’m running into an issue with unwanted colours appearing in the Design-mode colour picker in Figma Slides, and I’m hoping to understand whether this is expected behaviour or a limitation.Summary of the issueEven after fully cleaning my Slides template so that every element uses only my defined template colour variables, the colour picker in Design mode still shows many extra custom colours that are not used anywhere in the file. These appear to be leftover colours that were automatically created when pasting designs from regular Figma Design files into a Slides file.What I’ve tried I replaced all existing colours with my new template colours I verified that none of the stray colours are used in any layer, component, or style. I also confirmed that this only affects Design mode, not Slides mode, where only the correct template variables appear.

Hello, there is a problem - when running through the program, a solid black screen appears on the desktop, while buttons such as minimize, close and shrink the screen -it all works, I assume other buttons also work, but everything is flooded with black. Logging into the figma account through the browser, everything appears and works fine, the problem is only in the program on the desktop. I rebooted the computer, reinstalled the Figma, but the problem did not solve, please tell me what to do, it is more convenient to work through the program separately than switching between browser tabs. 

When creating interactive prototypes in Figma, only vertical lists support mouse wheel scrolling. Horizontal lists cannot be scrolled with the mouse at all—you have to drag to view the content. What a terrible design! Your interactive prototype features are absolutely awful. Can you please optimize this properly in the next update?

Icons wrapped and with scale applied do not work properly anymore after latest update.Note on updates in general: everytime there is a new update I have noticed something breaking in Figma. For the price paid for the service it would be great if all the new implementations went through thorough testing everytime. It is quite annoying to have to find work arounds every new releases to avoid these bugs. 

I only need 1 full site , and  I set all member  free on my team .but the bill shows that I need to pay for 2 full-seat. I am trying to create a standard horizontal carousel with two-step navigation (scroll arrow begining middle and end) using a Component Set to manage arrow visibility. Goal: When the Right Arrow is clicked in the Start state, the row should smoothly scroll to X=1000 pixels and the button should change state to Middle (showing the Left Arrow). Setup: The content row (Latest Releases Full Row) has horizontal overflow. The button logic is contained within a three-variant component set (Start, Middle, End). At the end of the first 16 tiles I a have added 8 more tiles in the layers called R1T17 to R1T24. Failure: The first Right Arrow interaction work perfectly (scrolls to X=1000 and changes state).

 Hi, I’m experiencing an issue with the color picker tool in Figma.When I try to select a color from my design using the Color Picker, it always detects the color as black (HSB 0° 0 0), even though the area I’m sampling clearly has different colors. No matter which part of the frame or image I select, the result is always black.I’ve already tried zooming in, restarting Figma, and switching files, but the issue still persists. It happens on every document.I’m not sure whether this is a bug in the color picker or something related to my settings.Could you please help me troubleshoot this issue?Thank you!
