Process involves for merging or combining Professional plan to Organization plan

From my previous question I now know how to transfer or merge an existing two plans (Professional plan merge or transfer to Organization plan) into one from this article: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/10250387712407-Transfer-a-folder-or-team-to-a-different-account#h_01J5BDVCA0XT1PX6B4AB30PZRZ

But I still have some few questions:
 

  • Does the seat transfer from the Pro Plan to the Org Plan also include Collab and Dev Seats?
  • What happens to the existing Pro Plan after the migration? Since the team folders, seats, and team members will be transferred to the Org Plan, we do not anticipate any further need for the Pro Plan. Our primary objective is to fully consolidate everything under the Org Plan.
  • How will the billing work for the additional seats once they are transferred to the Org Plan?
  • The files on the Draft folder of a team member, will that be transferred as well? in the migration process to the Org plan from Pro plan

      Hey ​@Ico, thanks for reaching out! I can see this is already being looked into under ticket #2125528, and our customer support team is working through the account-specific side of your questions directly with you there.

       

      While you wait to hear back, here's some general info that might help in the meantime. The Transfer a folder or team to a different account article you already found covers the mechanics behind two of your questions:

      • Seats: when a Professional team transfers into an Organization plan, everyone on that team initially joins the Organization with a View seat, unless they already hold a paid seat there, in which case they keep it. Any Full, Dev, or Collab seats from the Professional team do transfer over, but as prorated, unassigned seats. An admin on the Organization plan will need to reassign them to the right people afterward rather than them carrying over 1:1 automatically.
      • Billing: the Organization plan receives a prorated credit for whatever time is left in the Professional plan's billing period, which gets applied to the next invoice.

      What happens to the Professional plan itself once everything's consolidated, and whether files in Drafts come along in the transfer, aren't covered in that article and can depend on the specifics of your setup, so those are best confirmed through your ticket rather.
