I am having issues with my education account where my students’ verification fails. They have logged in to my education team and when presented with the verification notice, they fill out the brief form (as students have in past years) but it fails. They have all filled out the more comprehensive form, but it still appears to fail.If there is a new way to set up my education account so students can get in without jumping through too many hoops, could you share it with me?In any event, any advice you can give to help me out, I’d appreciate. I cannot update my library in my Figma design nor select styles from it to apply to my Figma design.

Hi Figma Community,I’m working on translating the Arco Design System from Chinese to English. This includes: All the text content inside layers AND the component properties (property names and their option values) So far, the only method I’ve found is to manually select each component, then copy-paste the property name and each of its possible values one by one. This process is extremely slow and tedious.Is there a more efficient way — maybe a plugin, script, or workflow — to bulk translate both text layers and component properties in Figma? Any advice or pointers would be much appreciated!Thanks in advance!

Please help ​@Gleb   I’ve seen your solution to this a few times on Figma but I can’t seem to crack it. I am currently working on a few landing pages that utilise our design system to swap out icons and logos, but none of them are sized to fit within the parameters we have set - design system icons are, at largest, 32x32, desired size is 108x108. I’ve created a component with the logo set at 108x108 and whenever I create an instance of that component and change the logo it shrinks back down to 32x32. I’ve seen your files and that you have found a solution, I’ve done my best to replicate but Im just not getting the same result! I have a component that is left aligned in all places until the site link in which it is suddenly center aligned: 

Whnever i enter and search a propmt, a white blank space occupies half of my screen, making the contents inaccessible. Any help please? 

Hi, I hope someone can help with this issue. I have created a component card with a show/hide boolean property for the card description. But when I use the toggle lines appear instead of the text. I have tried putting the description in a nested autolayout but that produces an outline around the autolayout layer instead of the lines representing the text. This has happened before and I got around it but I can’t remember how! Thanks. Images to show the issue attached. 

I’m reaching out because I’ve lost access to a Figma file I was working on using my internship email account, which has since been deactivated. I was the only person working on the file, and unfortunately, I can’t remember the file name.I tried checking Recents, Drafts, Trash, and even my browser history, but I can’t locate or access the file anymore. I also submitted a support ticket (#1415763) explaining the situation, but it was automatically closed without a proper response.Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? Is there any way to recover a file if the associated email account no longer exists?I would really appreciate any guidance or advice on how to proceed.Thank you in advance!

Hi, I accidentally removed the “unassigned drafts” from a team member that left the company. I removed them from the “content” section in the admin panel. We later restored their profile, but the files are still not there. Is there a way to restore these files? Thank you!

I recently found about the “make” that uses AI prompt to create designs that helps me as developer to create a lot of usable designs but i am unable to save the result back into Figma format so my designers see and improve on it.Also, i cannot share it with anybody else unless i screenshot which is not desired or copy paste the code into an text file and name it *.html and even then sometime people cannot see teh design properly.

Is there a technical problem with figma make recently?i have been working in a project for the past month, i took a break for 4 days and continued working today and suddenly I can not create any new figma make objects on Figma sites anymore (using previously designed Figma Design components).I thought first that my components are too complicated, i stripped down the design into a basic element, literally some text in few different variants, but after the element is created, and i give the first command, the figma make element is deleted on its own and return to the original design.Any know technical issues or it is just my project getting too heavy?

Hi! I just opened Figma, and the design file page is missing from the project. I didn't delete the files on the page, and they're not in the trash. Just a couple of hours ago, all the files were on the page. Now, instead of all the files, there's just an empty frame. How to restore? If anything, I have a free plan.

Hello world, I am working on a Figma plugin where one of its features is changing fill of selected elements into color variable if the said fill is found within the variables. Everything else is straight forward but when it comes to text, since different characters within one text element could have different colors, I tried to access them using get StyledTextSegments like so:const segments = element.getStyledTextSegments(['fills'])The issue I am currently facing is that fill within textSegments is readonly, So the following code does not work; specifically the part of assigning segment.fills new value:segments.forEach((segment) => { const fillsCopy = [...segment.fills] if (fillsCopy[index].type === 'SOLID') { fillsCopy[index] = figma.variables.setBoundVariableForPaint( fillsCopy[index], 'color', matchResult.variable ) segment.fills = fillsCopy}Is there another way I can make this work?

I’ve been using Instrument Sans and Instrument Serif for a while now and until recently its no longer working. I have the fonts installed in my fontbook and I’ve reinstalled them a few times. Anyone else run into this issue recently?

I’m on a Pro plan (for my personal account) and Enterprise plan (for my work account) and need to import a manifest file specifically in the web app, and not desktop app. On the desktop app, I am able to see Plugins > Development > Import from manifest. However when I go to the web app, under Plugins I can’t see “Development”. When I go to the actions menu and type “import from manifest” nothing shows up in the web app (though it does in the desktop app).How can I import a plugin on the web app? 

This is a very strange one and I’ve never encountered a problem like this before having used videos a lot in Figma. I have an Artboard (Frame) which has a video on it. The video plays automatically and when it reaches the end it loops and begins from the start again… The problem is, after the video loops seamlessly one. The 3rd time it plays/loops, it seems to start from approx 2 seconds from the end of the clip - then loops. So it almost ‘jumps back’ at the end. So the follow would be:Video plays through once Then it loops once as it should The next time it plays, it starts 1-2 seconds from the end of the video before going into the loop. It’s so strange the video essentially plays perfect twice and then the 3rd time decides not to loop correctly. I’ve dragged the video onto the Artboard/Frame and this occurs. I’ve tried wrapping it in another Frame and even setting as a ‘background asset’ and the problem is the same every way. There are no interactions or anything else. It’s literall

I’ve lost all permissions, unable to see drafts also, lost my private figmas also.

I can’t work in the app anymore. Only browser version works but doesn’t allow me to open the desktop app. The “Open the desktop app” button isn’t active

Is anyone else having trouble connecting an app created with Figma Make to Supabase?
