The generate_figma_design tool — documented as "Claude Code only, remote only" in Figma's developer docs(https://developers.figma.com/docs/figma-mcp-server/tools-and-prompts/) — is not available in my Claude Code session despite the Code to Canvas feature being officially announced on Feb 17, 2026. My setup:  - Figma MCP remote server is connected and working (all other tools like get_design_context, get_screenshot, whoami etc. work fine)  - Full seat on a Pro tier Figma plan  - Figma desktop app is running  - Claude connector browser shows Figma connector version 1.0.3 The tool simply isn't exposed in the tool list. Is this a version/rollout issue on the connector side, or are there additional requirements to access this tool?

I'm currently using Figma, but the Variables feature is still displayed in the old interface. The Variables panel appears as a popup/right-side panel instead of being integrated into the left sidebar alongside Pages and Assets, as shown in the newer Figma UI.I've already confirmed that Variables are available in my account, but the interface has not been updated to the new layout. Could you please check whether my account is still on the older UI or if there is a way to enable the new Variables experience?

It seems like like if you cut (cmd-X) an element inside a slot inside an instance, and then undo it, it gets in this broken state where it doesn't bring back the element. The sidebar also odd too with a broken Position and Layout elements. Please see video attached. Steps Create a component with a nested slot inside Make an instance, and add some elements inside Cut one or several elements with Cmd-X Undo with Cmd-Z The item(s) don’t show up, and the sidebar enters a bugged state (0:22 in the video)Expected behavior: the elements should restore properly, just like outside of a slot.

I have a simple app prototype with content that overflows from the main frame of the home screen, and uses vertical scrolling for the overflow. However whenever I preview the prototype, it renders the home screen with extreme pixelation: turning the entire detailed UI into 3-4 giant pixels. I’ve read through other articles and can’t seem to figure out what’s going on. The frames seem set up right, no accidental zoom, sub pixels or rotation. This screen seemed to work fine a few days ago. 

For the life of me, I cannot figure out what the pink and blue colors mean that sometimes appear on properties when added to Figma annotations.

Hi there,  I want to merge branch to mainClick Review and merge changes… In branch review modal, it says need resolve conflict before merging, so I click Resolve conflicts   In conflict details modal, I can see the compare results, but after I click Keep branch or Keep main, it ran into error    

Do you know this behaviour? You return to your file in the morning and suddenly, instances that use auto-layout changed their appearance / size since last working in the file? Sometimes they might be bigger or sometimes just only 1px wide. And the weird part is: once you double click on the component, it suddenly gets reset and everything is ok again. So it’s probably just a rendering problem…? This started 1 or 2 months ago.Newest Figma client, macOS 15.7.5The file is quite large with a lot of pages and deep nesting.Sorry, I cannot share the file and also could not take a screen recording due to sensitive data. Also it happens totally randomly, I can’t reproduce it consistently.But have you experience auto-layout hick-ups like these? Is there a way to re-render a complete file? Hello Figma team, I’ve got an interactive Figma prototype flow that is being used as a portfolio. In some of the work featured I have scrollable design layouts. These previously worked fine, with 2x layouts showing as large shaped panels instead - other layouts that follow the same setup are working fine, it’s just these two (see attached) that aren’t working.I’ve done a full Figma reset and cleared the cache with no fix. Can you advise what this issue might be?

Hi, i have now for over a week been trying to submit a ticket via the bot. I have professional sub, so i should be able to get help.Everytime the bot says that the ticket is made, its gone after that. I never get a confirmation email nor can i see it under my “My Requests”. I Really wanted help with some billing issue, and still need it for that matter. But whatever i do, i cannot submit a ticket or get any help. I have tried 3 separate times, and the ticket is never made, even when the ai bot says it is.

After completing the subscription, I attempted to begin my design work, but I noticed that I can only view and comment on the file. There is a “Start editing” call-to-action displayed.When I click on “Start editing,” I receive another prompt indicating that I am about to get a full seat. From my understanding, this suggests an upgrade to a higher (full) subscription plan, which I do not intend to purchase. I’m on the Starter plan and permanently deleted a Figma file from Trash about a week ago by mistake. It was in my team project, which has the same name as my email address. I’ve checked that team’s Trash, other teams’ Trash, projects, and Drafts, and I cannot find it anywhere. I do not remember the file name. Can anyone confirm whether permanently deleted files can ever be recovered in this situation, or if there is anything else I can check?

I’m experiencing a visual inconsistency in a design file. Components using a specific drop shadow style are rendering incorrectly compared to how they used to look. However, when I detach the style, the drop shadow immediately looks as it’s supposed to, perfectly matching the library file where it is published from.Both the component and the style are fully published and up to date. I’ve attached a video showing the issue. In the recording, you can see that if I copy and paste these two components (one with the style attached and one with the style detached) back into the library file, they both render correctly and look exactly the same.

I have two questions regarding our Organization plan billing:First, on the Invoices page I see a Quarterly invoice due September 15, 2026 with an "Upcoming" status. However, our plan shows as annual with a renewal date of June 15, 2027, and the annual invoice for June 15, 2026 has already been paid. Could you clarify what this September 15 quarterly invoice is for, and why it's being generated in addition to our annual plan?Second, we purchased 12 seats by card, but the Overview shows 13 Paid seats. Could you confirm how this extra seat is being calculated? Is there an additional charge for it, and is it related to the September 15 invoice mentioned above?

SituationMy dev team is working with Claude. I’m told they need a clean design system file with the relevant component definitions and nothing else. My working design system file is full of random experiments, and all my prototypes use that set of components. (I manage my own versioning of said components when there needs to be major overhaul). Anyway, I’m told that the clean file needs to be published for Claude to digest.IssueWhen dev publishes the clean design system file, all my existing prototype instances suddenly point to the new kid on the block!QuestionsIs this expected? Is it preventable?
