i want to scroll through my design when in prototype mode but i don’t want the cursor to be visible because it just makes it annoying. anyway to solve this?

1st image is google font page, but in figma ‘&’ is apper in a diffrent way (see 2nd image), earlier it was correct.

When I want to change the font of any text in Figma there is no preview of it’s name in the dropdown selection - only the loading skeleton.The functionality works - the font changes and I can see the name outside of the dropdown but it’s hard to navigate when I use the search bar.I’m using the browser version and I have a paid account. It”s the same no matter if I’m connected to WiFi or LAN cable. Have someone run into that issue?

Not sure if anyone noticed but I feel like Figma Audio Chat has been generally less reliable ever since the switch to UI3. One of the main issues we’ve discovered when working with our developers on Figma is the audio chat disconnecting while we switch between Dev and Design mode. It’s a normal part of our process to make changes in design mode and switch back to developer mode to review things while discussing with our developers. The audio chat module has also been noticeably buggy ever since the switch to UI3 as a mentioned. It would disappear when I’ve joined a session, join button may appear even when I’m already in the audio chat, follow and spotlight feature may appear finicky as well. Since then we’ve switched to calling outside of Figma so it’s not the biggest deal, however it would be nice to have these things fixed so we could seamlessly collaborate without switching to a different platform for audio chats.

I created a Google Sheets file containing images for bulk creation, but when I upload the .xlsx file, the images appear as a text field instead of an image field, preventing me from linking it to the asset. 

When I come back to edit an interaction on a variant, other interactions just magically disappear! They’re gone!!! They are no longer there. Can we please fix this? I can’t be the only one this is happening to, right???

The marker tool in figjam has changed. Unlike other drawing tools, Figjam’s previous marker was very responsive to touch, not rounding or softening pen strokes. But now as I draw, I can physically see my pen stroke changing as I draw. I am precise with my drawing and writing, so this was a let down for me as what I draw is not maintained. Can we turn this off/disable this new feature?

I'm running into a small issue when switching icon variants inside a component instance.In general, I apply a specific color override to icons, and everything works fine in the main component: when I swap an icon, it keeps the overridden color as expected.However, when I use an instance of that component and change the icon variant (for example, from Brand A to Brand B), the color override disappears. The icon reverts to its default color, even though the rest of the component still respects the correct theme.What's odd is that this only happens in instances — in base components or standalone frames, the override persists just fine.[Get here](https://heyapks.net/block-blast/)Has anyone else experienced something like this? Hey all, I’ve been noticing two issues that might be related: Slow Loading at Bottom: When I scroll to the bottom of the file list (especially in larger projects with lots of files), it sometimes takes a long time to load more files. Occasionally it just gets stuck or lags noticeably. Duplicate Files: Some files are appearing twice in the same project. Not sure if this is just a visual bug or something else, but it usually happens at the bottom of the scroll and trying to load more files. Anyone else running into this? Wondering if it’s a known issue or if there’s a workaround. Thanks!

Hi Figma Community, I’m experiencing an issue with font rendering in my Figma prototype, and I could really use some help! The font is Apple DS Gothic Neo (an embedded font) The font looks fine when I’m designing, but when I view the prototype, the text appears distorted or uses a different font entirely. I’ve tried clearing my cache, restarting Figma, and even reinstalling the font, but the problem persists. Has anyone else faced this issue before? Are there any specific settings I should check, or is there a workaround? I’d appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to resolve this! Thanks in advance! 🙏

What I’m doing wrong? I believe there is a serious bug in the Variable Table of Figma.Recently, I've been experiencing strange issues where tokens I never created are suddenly showing up all over my design system. For example, tokens like background-2, background-3, background-4, and background-5 appear out of nowhere. Additionally, when I rename a token — such as changing text-error to just error — it sometimes reverts back to text-error on its own, or even turns into something like error-2. These are not actions I performed. It honestly feels like a ghost is tampering with my work.This is extremely concerning. I'm working on a large-scale design system, and issues like this are not just annoying — they're critical. They undermine trust in the system and the consistency we depend on.Since last week, I’ve noticed this happening repeatedly during token work. Hi,I’m having an issue with the variables. I created a design system with all the relevant variables and then published. I made sure all variables are with the correct scope details and all are NOT hidden from publishing. After enabling that library in a new design file, i tried to use a color variable on a new shape and it simply doesn’t load the colors in the small thumbnail squares. They just stay forever with the default color variable icon. I tested this with new files and new libraries and variables but the issue keeps happening. It seems like it is stuck in a forever loading stage. Other colleagues of mine can use the library and see the variables in their square thumbnails, so im guessing its my issue. After this i made sure my figma was updated and even uninstalled it and installed again. I’ve also tested this with both app and web browser.Interestingly, when i do select a color from the variables on the right panel, the color appears!Has someone had this issue? I’m really run

But now my account was automatically switched to a different plan — I see an overdue charge of $35, even though I didn’t change anything myself.Why did this happen? Hello! I accidentally pressed some key combination and this panel appeared at the top of Figma - it is not editable, I can't do anything with it. I tried to close the program and log in again - it opens in the same form. Tell me how to return the previous appearance?

I’m trying to create this toggle. The overlapped area is its own component, since I don’t want it to change when the # of items of being updated and affecting the size/padding of the pills. I added an auto-layout and set the overlapped area to “ignore.”However, that part is now sitting on top of the other frames, even though it’s below them in the Layers panel. How do I keep it beneath?

 I created this shape from a mask (see left panel) and want to turn it into a vector. However, flattening it just gets rid of the mask like so: And all the boolean operations like union or intersect fills the shape with the stroke color: How do I work around this? Thank you

Here is our published file  It supposed to be a free. But Figma added some link to purchase. We are not trying to sell it. How to make published file free?Why Figma redirecting to third party service? So i was giving a project to create an app that views figma files, i did so, placed the app in figma developers portal where i got an id and secret code, i did everything and tried integrating figma api into my backend, ran everything, i got linked to figma successfully, got the token, but when i try to access my projects or files i get an error 403, invalid token, but it was successfully linked too

I have an icon and text in an autolayout. The text truncates as soon as I drag the frame smaller. If I have several of these frames in another autolayout next to each other I want the icon to disappear as well PLUS the text to truncate.Is there a way to do this? Also a workaround.

I have a text component in Figma. I want to reuse this component, but I need the font to be smaller. If I manually change the font size, when I switch the variant, it restores the original font size. I need the text to keep the size I want for this specific context.

Hello! I created a team project on an education plan linked to my school email. Since I just graduated, I will lose access to it soon but I have important projects on there that I don't want to loose. I already changed "ownership" of the project to my private email. But is that enough? Or do I need to get a paid plan to somehow transfer the files? I don’t quite understand where figma stores these files. Thank you in advance!

Hi guys, I just wrote an article about a problem my team and I have been facing recently after we reorganised our Figma component library (like adding new variants, deleting old ones, renaming things, etc)We found that some of the Theme variants were stubbornly stuck with an annoying gremlin ℹ️ icon and to “fix it” we were having to import all the components back into the file, no need to say it was a nightmare!I found an easy fix to it and you can find it in this article, it worked for 98% of our design files, the ones it didn’t unfortunately we had to swap them manually, however it still saves us a ton of time :) :https://medium.com/@anna.massad/fixing-that-pesky-%E2%84%B9%EF%B8%8F-error-in-figma-fast-and-friendly-517d3351ef51Hope it helps you guys!
