Good afternoon, I’ve been working on this UI kit I downloaded for a few hours, and I just relised then that along the way something has occured that has caused these strange stripes running vertically down each frame. The colour itself does look to be one of my colour varients, however I have no idea how this has occured. Can anyone assist in helping me get rid if this?

HiI’m looking for a plugin to convert CSS colour variables to Figma colour tokens.For example, I could feed the plugin these two CSS colour variables  --card-okay-icon: #4ade80;                    --card-okay-icon-bg: rgba(74, 222, 128, 0.2);  and plugin would produce screengrab below.I can find lots of plugins doing it the other way round but not finding any that match this direction (CSS → Figma Variable)  

For some Time I have been researching a way in Figma for a swipe or probably rather drag gestures that moves diagonally vs. Just horizontally or vertically. Think fruit Ninja Game, basically you can slice a fruit from any angle. The Idea is to have an object in the center surrounded by multiple buckets, and I want to drag that object into its respective bucket. Then I could transition to next screen indicating that the object has been added to the bucket. To be more clear some of the buckets will be off-set obviously and not on the horizontal or vertical axis hence “diagonal”, see image attached. So ideally, I tap the red item and drag it into the bucket. That action should also be reversible, to empty the bucket. And it should work in one smooth way, so the moment I tap it I am able to drag it.

When I create new variant properties, or new text styles, the newest addition will land at the bottom of the dropdown list in the right hand pane. Is there a way to reorganise these?

Im trying to create a search bar in Figma. I have the bar set up, but the search blinker I created isn't behaving as expected. I want it to move behind the typed text, but instead, it keeps reverting to its original position, which is between the search icon and the word search or to the end of search bar entirely 

When creating a new project, the UX regarding the privacy/security settings is totally broken: Although  the first screen says that the new project will only be accessible to people that are directly invited, this is demonstrably not true. Because if you call up the “Share” screen after having created the project, it shows that by default, all team members have access, too: Why is this a problem? Users create a project in good confidence that they really control who has access - but in reality, they do not.I would bet that most users are not aware of this “feature”, since the documentation https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360038006494-Create-a-new-project is not really pointing this specific topic out in much detail.Somehow it seems that the DEV team at Figma does not see this as a problem, since I reported that problem more than 2 month ago. Maybe a discussion here will raise more awareness for this.Kind regardsPeter

I just used Figma with a trackpad for the first time in a while and noticed the scrolling speed is way too fast (moving the canvas with by scrolling using two fingers on the trackpad on mac). Faster than it used to be. Is there a way to slow this down? I’ve put this into “Report a problem, because the speed changed on its own from the last time I used it. It used to be slower. Figma changed without me changing a preference or setting, which seems like a bug/problem.

Hi People, new to Figma so apologies in advance for the long winded question. I have a Figma profile that is linked to my email address and have been using for a while. Recently posted a question in the community and noticed my handle was a randomly generated name so i changed this (to what it is now). The email address was the same as my Figma Profile, where all my files are. I accessed the Figma community page via googling Figma Community. i DID NOT ACCESS via WHERE MY FIGMA FILES ARE. A few weeks later I went to ask another question in the community but this time I accessed it via the page where all my files/projects are. I clicked on the community Profile via the dropdown menu on my name in top left corner. I noticed that my community handle was another random generated handle. Went to change it to what I had already changed it to a few weeks prior, but it said that name is already taken. I changed it to something else in the end. Hello figma team, I used to be able to use the AI ​​functionality to enhance images but now it has disappeared, I have an educational plan. Why could that happen? 

Hi. Subject. Working with default UI is a pain. It sometimes doesn’t even rename the variables. Bug, maybe. But overall UX is sad :(  Is there an alternative UI out there? Like, I dont need EXTRA features. I want figma variables functionality only. Just with a better UI.

I’m working through a UX Design online course, and I’m at a part where I created a usability test around the prototype I made in Figma. I sent out the links of the prototype to 5 people and the 3 that have gotten back to me said the navigation bar didn’t populate. On my end, in figma on my laptop or on my phone the navigation bar shows up for me. I’ve tried googling this issue and troubleshooting multiple possible solutions, but so far nothing has worked. Does anyone know how to fix this or what would cause part of the prototype to not show up with the link?

Hello, my company has a design system that we have set up using color and text styles. We are now planning to launch another product within the company that will have completely different branding. We will be sharing some more simple components between the two products but then will also have product specific components. I would love any advice that you have on the best way to build this second product design system.I am thinking that I will have to re-do our current design system to utilize variables for color and text instead of styles so that way I can create different variables for different branding. (If all of my components are now using styles will this mean that I have to go in and manually update every component to use the variables instead? Or are there any shortcuts to batch this process? Hello! I have noticed recently that WebGL seems to crash when doing simple tasks in Figma, to the point that it is unusable. Figma used to work fine for me a couple of days ago, and now doing simple things such as using the color picker, moving an object slightly, zooming in on very simple files seems to make the screen black out, and WebGL will fail to load for about a minute after that. I have never had this problem until a couple of days ago, this makes me suspicious this bug was introduced in an update. I have tried clearing the website cookies, enabling override software rendering list and this has unfortunately not fixed the issue on my end. Please fix this major problem soon! Operating System & Browser: ChromeOS 132CPU: Intel Celeron N5100 

  I received a notification email stating that my Figma Education Plan is about to expire. Currently, I am attending a bootcamp to prepare for employment, so I would like to extend my education plan. However, I am unable to renew it due to the following error message:"Verification failedYou’ve already used up your free access to the Figma Education plan."It seems similar to the issue attached below. I have a component that I updated and then published individually by clicking “Publish changes…” in the properties panel. The component updated without issue, but it still shows up as “modified” when I open the file-level “Publish Library” dialog. At the component level, it no longer shows as having changes to publish. I’m now wondering how many of my components are showing a false-positive…

When I tried logging in, it sends an authentication code to my school email ID, which I cannot access anymore and hence can’t login. Hi everyone,I'm trying to import a website design for Stips into Figma, but I'm running into issues with Cloudflare blocking the import process. I've tried various approaches, including using Puppeteer with cookies copied from an authenticated browser session and even using a VPN, but Cloudflare still interferes.Has anyone encountered this issue before? Does anyone have Figma Tax Residency Certificate for 2024 and 2025? How can I get one? I need it to avoid double taxation.

I have been trying to create components for navigation controls, radio button sets, and dropdowns that show an existing selection with a checkmark. Each of this interaction use cases calls for mutually exclusive logic for a successful prototype: Navigation Control: Only one section/page/screen can be shown at a time and thus the corresponding section needs to be “highlighted” in the Nav Control. By default, one section should always be “highlighted” as selected while the other sections are not. Radio Button Set: One option needs to be shown as selected by default (there is no “no selection” for radio button sets by default).
