Hi @Waliwe,
I understand you're seeing an upgrade message when your colleague, who also has a verified educational account, tries to edit a file you shared.
I checked our system and it appears you have access to Starter and Education teams.
This can sometimes happen if the file is located in a free "Starter" team instead of your "Education" team. Please note that, your plan is tied to the team, not your individual account.
You might want to confirm the file is in your Education team before inviting collaborators.
You can find more details on how to correctly invite team members in our guide: Figma for Education - Invite others to your team
I see that you also have a support ticket open for this (#1839149), which is the perfect place for our team to investigate account-specific issues like this. To confirm what's happening, our team will need to check the file and your collaborator's details.
Could you please reply to your ticket confirmation email with the following information?
- The URL of the file you're trying to share
- The email address of your colleague
I've already added a note to your ticket to let the team know you contacted us here as well.
Regarding your question about credit card settings, the ability to manage payment details is a feature of our paid plans. You can find more info here: Manage payment and invoice details
To keep our communication organized, I’ll go ahead and close this forum topic for now. Someone from our team will be in touch with you directly through your support ticket.
Thanks!
