I just updated to Figma Desktop App version 125.6.5 (MacOS) and I'm running into an issue.If I open the variables window (from left pane, it goes into fullscreen, then minimize so it’s a floating window), then try to paste anything into the workspace, paste doesn’t work. If I close the variables window, paste then works.This is the same whether I’m copying a hex value from a variable field and trying to paste it into the workspace or copying from another app, paste only comes back as an option when variables are closed.Oddly, “paste over selection” and “paste to replace” when text is selected both work. 

I’m at my wits end with this one. I am constantly publishing a good portion of my design system despite not doing any changes to my core components.I have gone through my file to make sure there were no other conflicts or pulling variables/tokens/styles from other files. Sometimes I’ll make a change to a component that is NOT connected to any other component and Figma still gives me a huge list of components that have apparently been updated and need to be republished. Please help!

 I'm making an application that requires user authentication by OAuth to perform certain actions, and well to avoid the problem of the user having to repeat the OAuth multiple times, I can use the Refresh Token, but reading I saw that they combined the use of the same endpoint that returns the code in the OAuth flow with that of the Refresh TokenBut there's a problem, it redirects me here:https://developers.figma.com/docs/rest-api/authentication/#refresh-oauth-tokenAnd this page only covers the OAuth flow. There are no examples or explanations of how to use the same endpoint for this flow to use the Refresh Token and get a new one. By the way, the page doesn't even mention the refresh token's validity period. The only thing they mention at the end of the document is that the access token lasts 24 hours. It's confusing because I don't know if it's just the one generated manually on the page or both (it would be good to clarify that). I'd like to know if there's any official documentatio

Currently Copy/Paste Properties doesn't seem to work at all. I have 2 simple rectangles with different fill colors and strokes. I copy one, then paste properties on the other. Nothing at all happens.This is in the standalone app on Windows.

The latest Figma update broke my components. Button hover states all messed up. Prototypes showing weird flickering.

After my business email was changed as a result, I no longer have access to the mcp server and am encountering authentication issues. Seems like Figma doesn’t recognize the change and doesn’t treat me as same user. mcp worked before.

My Yahoo email address was deactivated due to inactivity, so I no longer have access to it, which prevents me from confirming the change.Is there another way to update my account email without needing access to the previous one?Thank you for your help.

Hello! I’m the developer of the “Figma Converter for Unity” tool.I was sending Tier 1 requests to the REST API and received a ~4-day timeout before the next API request on my free plan.After that, I purchased a Pro dev seat subscription, but the timeout didn’t disappear and is still 4 days.I believe that after purchasing the Pro subscription, the API limits should have been reset.Right now, both I and my clients are facing the issue that even after purchasing the Pro subscription, it’s impossible to immediately restore our workflow.Please look into this problem.

My login works fine on desktop.When I try to mirror on ipad I am asked to login on the figma app on iPad (running ios 26). Entering the same login info I just get the login screen again - and again - and again.. I would like to check my design by mirroring it onto my ipad. How can I do this? 

I need to make a presentation which has about 100 slides. I have a slide template in Figma.Is there a way to automate the creation of the files without laboriously copy pasting each line?   

Hi! Yesterday I installed an update for my Figma desktop app and it won’t load since then. I’ve tried clearing cache and reinstalling it but nothing seems to works. Is there any solution for this?  

Hi everyone <3I’m currently struggling with Auto Layout in Figma and can’t seem to figure it out ...I’m trying to convert an already designed layout into Auto Layout, but everything breaks apart when I do.I’ve watched quite a few tutorials and understand the basic concept of Auto Layout, but in this specific case it just doesn’t work.Does anyone have an idea what I might be doing wrong or how you usually approach this situation?Thanks in advance for any tips! Here my video-link, what i mean

Hi.Please I need help! ASAPMy company email domain changed from .app to .comBut my Figma hasn’t synced to the new email address.I fear that If my laptop logs me out I wont be able to log in anymore because the email registered doesn’t exist anymore. 

I really need help on working around Connected Project not allowing between Org/Pro with same email domain. If someone have experience on solving this it would be a great help. Our project is being delayed and we really need a solution. Four company with same work email domain (because same holding company) All teams have a figma Org/Pro that was made with work email domain.  Our company has Design System Library we use among our internal teams.  We have a mega project, where we need to share this library with other 3 companies. We are attempting to have connected projects for each company, and allow our library usage. Figma won’t allow connected project due to same email domain. (below error) "Connecting team owner's email domain cannot match your organization's email domain"We tried the other company make an ID with gmail domain an admin, and create a team and become an owner of that team. This however did not work. Can anyone suggest a different approach? Or am I not doing this work

Hello,For several days now, the AI has been refusing to carry out a task we request. I asked it twice on the 6th, and a friend had also made the same request once two days earlier.Moreover, in theory, it is simply a matter of copying something it has already done. Each time, it claims that the modification has been completed and clearly explains what was added, but in reality, nothing has changed.Thanks in advance. 

Hi Figma team,Our team currently has only 1 Full seat and 1 Dev seat, and this has been the case for the past 8 months.However, our latest billing shows that we are being charged for 4 seats. We have checked our team settings and do not see any extra active seats.Ticket ID: 1686519Invoice ID: 94253A46-0047Please cancel all of my current subscriptions and issue a new invoice with only 1 Full seat and 1 Dev seat.Thank you for your help.

I want to test the app I built on figma make but the browser tools like the site bar keep messing up the layout.Please how do I view it on my phone like a real app?  

I tried Figma and do not want to continue a subscription. However, in the admin area, the plan is saying “free”, but I was charged $20. Because it is “free”, I cannot cancel myself. But, it is not actually free, hence the charge. To be clear, I want to unsubscribe and cancel, delete. I did not create anything, the trial didn’t work. Help me cancel. The “help” community suggested posting here (seems odd)
