We’re currently on the Professional plan and are considering upgrading to the Enterprise plan, mainly to use Extended Collections and Branching.Before making the switch, I’d love to hear from teams who are already using these features: Do Extended Collections work well for large-scale design systems, especially when managing white-label versions of the same product? Are there any limitations or best practices when using them at scale? With Branching, is it possible to sync screens from a branch directly to Zeplin for developer handoff, or does the sync only work from the main branch? Any insights or real-world experiences would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

I am noticing more and more Figma libraries lately popping up. Think about https://www.flowbase.co/, https://figmacomponents.com/ I am currently figuring out how they do section X inside a copy to clipboard button but I am not coming to an end, after googling for hours, I can’t find anything about this.Is there someone how this exactly works?Would love to know that!

We have a mock website built in Figma Make that contains multiple interactive graphs. As of this afternoon, all the graphs stopped displaying properly and only show white/blank space. Figma Make is telling me there is an issue with Recharts but nothing it tries is fixing the issue. Was this caused by the update today? How can we bring back our graphs?

I created some dashboards using the prompt (and I noticed they were created with Recharts integration) but they are no longer displaying on my screen:Besides that, the "Point and edit" button is not working. When I click it, my page automatically returns to the beginning of my flow.Anyone else having this issues?

I have received the “limit exceeded” error message. I have reached out to SheerID and they have confirmed that my eligibility was verified last month but i still cannot contribute to my team’s Edu figma project. It still asks for me to verify my status. (which is apparently already verified)

Hello,I’m experiencing an issue with my Figma account related to my former school email address. Since I’m no longer a student, the email associated with the account was changed, and I can no longer access it. Unfortunately, all of my projects are still locked to that account.I’ve tried resetting the password, but the reset email never arrives at the updated email address.Would it be possible to transfer those projects to my current Figma account?Thank you very much for your help.

I'm experiencing an issue with my Figma file covers. Despite exporting them at the correct dimensions (1920x1080), they're not fitting properly when uploaded, there's a border appearing around all of them.

Hi, I am able to edit and view all files that i have been granted access with in my workspace until last Thursday. But from Friday onwards, I have lost my access to view files as well as editing access on the workspace that i have been granted access with.  Attaching a screenshot for your reference.

Hey guys, we are currently trying to set up a better workflow in our web agency when it comes to templating and library management. Instead of rebuilding sections, components and styles every time, we’d like to start from a template that evolves with us over time. So no “snapshot” like we would get, when just duplicating the current state of our template before starting a fresh client project but rather a “living” library that we can add new things to while all client projects (including the ones in the past) can still make use of the assets added way after the creation of the file. So essentially a “master library”. What we want to achieve is this:A singular master library that holds all kinds of sections & components that we can continuously expand. Me and my friend wants to collaborate on a project using Figma. We both have verified edu plans, but when I invite him I get the message saying “An admin needs to update this seat so they can edit.” Naturally, I went ahead and made him into the team’s admin, which did not solve our problem at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am the sole owner of this account and team. Design file was created by me and belonged to my only team. The file disappeared from my projects gallery. Now it is only accessible via direct link and shows “Request access”, even though I am the owner. Access requests do not reach my email. How restore ownership or reattach the file to my account?

Hi there, I am a designer helping maintain a large design system used mostly for an ecommerce site. The Figma libraries were built almost 4 years ago now so there are some new features we're discussing leveraging, especially using variables to make the library components fully responsive (right now we have a separate desktop and mobile version of each component.) Has anyone made this transition before? It will involve a lot of legwork so I want to approach this carefully, would love to hear from others who have managed a similar large-scale update.

I have access to view a Figma file, but I can't edit it, and I need to edit the QR code. The person who made this design is out of office and can't grant me access to be an editor. I'm hoping I can chat with someone on the team to do so. 

I have an image that I want to hide by initially but show when a certain unrelated/attached element is hovered over (mouse enter). This works when I setup a boolean variable (“isVisible”) and attach it to the relevant asset (right clicking the eye icon). Then setting up a variable interaction of “Target: isVisible” then if false set to true. The image does show, so it works. But it’s an abrupt/instant jump into view. Is there any way to make this type of interaction gracefully fade into view instead?Thanks in advance!

Hi there, I have a seamless scrolling marquee component which works great - smart animating between 2 instances using delay so it appears as a loop. I’ve put this component within another component, which ‘on click’ cycles through instances until it opens and displays content. The problem is when you click and trigger the parent component state changes, the nested marquee jumps back to the start. This makes sense as it the state of the marquee doesn’t match when they change - but has anyone found a way to avoid this? Or is there no way? The only way I can think of is to make the marquee a looping video asset and then when the state changes on the parent the position of the video will match (I think). Thanks in advance!

Hi Figma team & community, I’m managing a design system and I wish to make a massive update to make it lighter to improve performances on our design files.With variables and components variants, there are infinite possibilities on how to create components. The outcome components will likely be a mixed between variables and component variants, but when I can prioritize one versus the other, I would like to know what will improve performance based on how Figma is structurally built?   Performance rumours:— One one hand, I’ve heard that pasting a component instance in a file brings all its variants with it. So having 2 instances of a component with 8 variants, would equal having it 16 times in our file, which increase its weight. — On another hand, I’ve had very complex and massive prototypes in the past, and at some point when I was having many many variables, it started to crash and not render/take-into-count all the variable rules and logic as it was lacking memory.  Approach optio

I’m trying to verify the educational institution my Figma account email is associated with, but am continuously receiving a “Verification Failed” page whenever I try to do this. I’ve filled out the request form for individual attention in verifying my account, but haven’t heard back even though that was a week ago. How can I proceed with account verification?

I have a Design system file with a component Accordion. As you can see in the video linked below, it has 2 states: open and closed, and inside it has a placeholder component for content. The idea is to replace placeholder with real content when needed.Now I want to use this component in another file, so I replace placeholder with “real content”. When I play it tho, my real content is replaced with original placeholder - and that’s not what I want. BUT, when I start with its state OPEN, then it works as expected.
