Dear Figma Support Team,I am a designer recently transitioned into the professional field after completing the Coursera UX Design Professional Certificate. I am currently in the process of building my professional portfolio and launching my freelance business. As I transition from a student environment to a professional one, I am eager to use the Organization tier to manage my demo projects and client workflows. However, as I am just starting my journey and establishing my initial income streams, the current monthly rate is a significant hurdle.Does Figma offer any "bridge"discounts, introductory rates, or support for recent graduates and new freelancers to help them get started?I’ve loved using Figma throughout my studies and am excited to continue growing my career using your platform. Thank you for your time and for supporting the design community.Best regards,Monica
Hello, I’m trying to obtain an MSI of the latest update of Figma Desktop in order to package/deploy to several of our users. I have the exe file but would prefer to have an MSI.Is there a link for this? thank you, Chris
Hello,I am having an issue with Figma.I am working on a file that was shared with me by one of my clients, and I noticed that some images (about 60% of the total) are blurry and pixelated. In the original file, the images are perfectly visible, with no display issues. It seems that when the file was saved locally and shared with me, some images were lost... so I can only see them as low-quality previews. When I try to download the original JPEG file, it does not save... so I do not know what happened or how to fix the problem. In the meantime, I am replacing the images one by one, but here is the strange behaviour : When I upload the image, it doesn't change unless I replace it with another random image and then re-upload the correct image. Also, to see the correct image with the right resolution, I have to reload the tab... otherwise it will continue to look pixelated...how can I fix this problem? It's very frustrating and wastes my time... Thank you for your help!
Hello! I work as a UI/UX design lecturer for Algebra Bernays University in Croatia and for some reason my Figma education status was applied to my personal account instead of my work account and now I can’t reverify with my work account because that work email was used to confirm education status for my personal account. What i need is to remove edu status from personal account and link it to my work email account. Classes start in 2 weeks and I really need this resolved before that. Thank you in advance Dorian Horvat
I want to ask my company to request the early access to Figma Slots feature - https://www.figma.com/blog/schema-2025-design-systems-recap/#slots - but I’m afraid this will increase our subscription price. Can you tell me if this feature has an extra price or not?
Hi everyone,I’m currently using the Figma Education plan and I’d like to understand which AI-powered features are included.Specifically, I’m wondering if the Education plan gives access to tools such as: Background removal “Edit with prompt” “Expand” / generative resize If these features are available, could someone explain how to access or enable them inside Figma? Thanks in advance for the clarification!
From my project, some frames got deleted on its own. they are also no present in the version history. The work before those frames and after those frames is present, but a couple of frames themselves have disappeared.
Hello, I’ve recently build out a website in Figma Sites.I’m facing an issue with the fixed navbar. When the navbar is overlayed on top of the FAQs section (which is interactive), it starts flickering as I interact with the FAQ components.Could someone help me fix it?This is the website → usequid.com
Hello,I am a currently a student in a master’s programme in UX design and UI design. When I attempt to re-verify my status, I receive the following error message: "We're glad you're enthusiastic, but it looks like you've already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer."I have already tried contacting SheerID but have not received a response. I know there is a waiting period for a response, but I have a rather urgent project due on 28 December 2025.Please manually reset my verification status so I can submit my documents and continue using Figma for my studies.
I designed a dashboard using Figma’s Make editor. I wrote what I wanted in text, and the AI designed the dashboard. I need to export the designed dashboard interfaces as PNG or JPEG, but there is no “Export” button. How can I do this? I’m new to using Figma. Could you explain step by step?
Here’s a link to the prototype that presents the bug in questionFigma – 24 Jun 22 I cannot make either the main component nor the child of the component ‘scroll to’ top nor bottom. My goal is to have a parent component with interchangeable content in the middle, with two buttons for scrolling to top and bottom, so that when I make child components and change the content in the middle the functionality of scrolling to top and bottom still works. When I’m using just frames for everything, then everything works fine. But, as soon as I make a component the ‘scroll to’ buttons stop working. I also tried making the content height ‘hug’, but the behaviour doesn’t change. Why doesn’t ‘Scroll to’ interaction on buttons ‘Top’ and ‘Bottom’ work?
How come Figma does not allow for Drag and Drop media like images directly from the OS into the App?It is a little frustrating to have to got to File → Place Image/Video (Ctrl+Shift+K) to import. Or if you are lucky and you could copy the source, like right-click image in a browser, or made a screen shot, you can paste it.(Also, why isn’t normal paste listed under neither right-click meny nor the File → Edit ? Paste here exist under right-click but it doesn’t have a key bind. Or did you just forget to show it?)
Hi, I'm learning Auto Layout, and I've made this without Auto Layout, but as my goal with Auto Layout. What I'm wondering about the technique, when cards have different sizes but stack on top of each other and span different columns. I'm not sure about which 'order' or how to make it right. My goal (Cards with different sizes but stack on top of each other and span different columns)
I’ve been trying a new workflow for auditing correct token usage of components (through skills in programs like Cursor), however I encounter an issue whenever I’m trying to audit actual Figma components instead of un-componentized frames. When I audit a variant of a component (other than the base component):get_design_context returns code with the base component's colors (e.g., surface/neutral/primary, border/neutral/secondary)get_variable_defs returns the variant's actual variables (e.g., surface/neutral/primary-hover, border/neutral/secondary-hover, icon/neutral/tertiary-hover)This creates a mismatch between the generated code and the actual design, making it impossible to programmatically audit or generate accurate code for component variants. The only way to verify correct token usage is manual inspection in Figma. Is this a known limitation? Is there a way for the generated code of get_design_context to return the variant’s variables instead of the base component? This would solve
For a many months now, I’ve seen library components appearing broken, ignoring saved styling, or appearing broken when copied to new design files.
I recently started using the paid plan of Fima. I am still learning all the new features i got with the professional plan. Yesterday i found out that i cannot access the first draft ai feature from the action tab as shown in the tutorial videos.
We are able to Prompt. We are able to see code. Can you help us troubleshoot?
I have been thinking about how different apps handle data refresh and user feedback, especially when it comes to information that users expect to be accurate instantly. In design tools like Figma, small delays or unclear states are usually communicated well through loading indicators, sync messages, or manual refresh options, so users understand what is happening. On the other hand, I have noticed with some everyday apps, for example checking my FAB bank balance on mobile, that the information does not always update clearly and there is no obvious indication whether the data is current or cached. It made me curious from a product and UX perspective how teams decide when to auto refresh sensitive data versus requiring a manual action, and how designers communicate trust and accuracy without overwhelming the user. Are there best practices in interface design or state handling that help avoid this kind of confusion, especially for apps where users rely on up to date information?
Hi,I’m reaching out for help applying the Education plan to my Figma account, as I’m currently stuck on the Free plan despite being successfully verified as a student through SheerID.Here’s a summary of the situation: I previously had a Professional plan, which has now been fully canceled and expired. I completed student verification through SheerID, and my verification was approved. However, my Figma account still appears as Free, and I’m unable to access Education plan features. SheerID has confirmed that my verification is valid and active, and advised me to contact Figma directly to update my account status. Below are the verification details they provided: Verified email: [redacted by forum admin/moderator to remove PII] SheerID Request ID: 69194d08f3823b601f34acfc Date verified: November 16, 2025 I’ve already tried signing out and back in, clearing my browser cache, and using the verification link, but the plan has not been applied.I need help applying the Education plan

When I bought my ticket for Config I put my role and title but it has since changed. I’m wondering do you update that when you pick up your badge at Config or do you do it prior.
Hi everyone,I’m running into an issue with my Figma plugin review process and I’m hoping someone from the community or Figma staff can help.My plugin (ID: 1601105301577638777) has been unpublished after review twice now, and in both cases I received no email or feedback explaining what was wrong or what I should fix. When I open the plugin’s Community page, I only see this message:“Your resource is unpublished. Only you can see this page. To republish this resource, publish a new version using a plugin with the same id.”There is no visible review status, no rejection reason, and no way to see any comments from the review team, so I don’t know what to change before submitting again. It’s especially confusing because this has now happened twice.Has anyone else experienced a plugin being unpublished like this, with no email and no feedback? Is there any hidden place where review comments or status might show up? What’s the best way to reach the Figma plugins review/support team to ask ab
Hi, hope you doing well.My figma is working super slow and my branches doesn’t open or loading forever. Here is an example of what happen when I open a branch or try to change between pages (once the branch finally opens). Beside that is slow in general, changes are taking more time than expected. I already tried uninstall, log of, restart the computer, re install, log in, and it still working poorly. I also tried open the branch in Chrome, same issues. Thanks in advanced. :)
Figma randomly becoming unresponsive during the day for the last 3 months. It only works in a browser with a vpn enabled. Then, suddenly it starts working again after a few hours, with no changes in my network/laptop settings.I getting message "Something went wrong! Loading chunk 905 failed. (timeout: https://www.figma.com/webpack-artifacts/assets/svg-fd6dec7c00c34cfb.min.js.br)".
The previous designers of my team turned to library every file that they created because they thought it was a good practice to turn each final screen into a component. Now I have a huge libraries list that is worthless but I still want to be the owner/editor of the source files. Is there a way to cleanup this mess?
