I have a paid plan and my client has a paid plan. We have two files with the design system and design pages. I usually change components, publish the design system library, and work with these components in the design pages files. But now I can't publish it. Is it a new update or something? I'm invited as an external editor to the client's Figma, and today we tried to invite only me as an editor to his Figma. And it's still not working, even though the client paid for my full seat.P.S. I can publish libraries on my own pro team 

I got a strange problem on my iMac M1 with Safari on macOS Tahoe.Figma is somehow stuck in loadingstate - it seems there is a problem with the web sockets. The strange thing is, on my M4 MacBook Air it's working. If I clear Website Data it starts working, but doesn't keep on working. 

Hi, I’m having trouble with the dropdown menu overlapping other elements on my page. I looked at another thread that had the same issue and it had something to do with the layering, which doesn’t make sense as the whole frame is on top. And I’m also trying to figure out why every time I press an option, all 3 of my dropdowns go to the selected options as opposed to 3 separate options. I understand that this is a variable problem, but I’m a bit stuck. I have one variable for the state (expanded, default), one for the category (industry, visual type, subject), and I believe I need one more so that each selection stays within its corresponding category after picking an option. 

I have already tried using the chat feature and submitted a ticket a while ago but still haven’t received a reply.So in September I bought a single Collab seat to add mp4 files to my Figma Slides. $5. That was literally the only reason I got it. (When I contacted the Support, they told me it’s possible to only buy a single Collab seat (without purchasing the whole Professional plan) so I did that.) I canceled it before it renewed.I got charged for the Professional Plan ($11.50) and it doesn’t make sense? The only other thing I did was give viewer access (just draft files) to my other personal accounts on Figma (so there are 3 viewer seats). NO edit access. I checked the settings, and it shows I’m on the free plan, and there’s no cancel button. But I got charged for the Professional plan, and I have no idea what’s going on.I have NEVER received an email/notification from Figma that my plan got upgraded to the Professional Plan in October. How do I cancel this? As

I bought the professional plan on the wrong project. How can I change which it to a different one?

Hello,I had set up my file to prevent others from copying, downloading and exporting but now I can't access any of these options  How do I undo it please 

    My specific use case is this: I’m using figma to design yearbook spreads for our school’s yearbook. Instead of manually adding each photo for staff/student photos, I figured there must be a way to automate this.    So I made a component that I could use many times for staff and student pictures, which included text (the name of the person in the photo) and a picture. Instead of going into fill → photo → import from computer, I thought there must be a way to automate it even further. I found a plugin called “google sheets sync” that allows me to read data off of a google sheet and automatically put it in the component instances. I also made a google apps script that reads the folder where the photos are stored in google drive, parses the the file name to find the name of the person in the photo, and creates a link to that photo that can be accessed by anyone/thing. If I change the icon in a button and then change the state of a button from default to hover, the icon color does NOT change. Running Free version in Chrome on Android.I've built an audio recorder but when I run it, it says I need to grant permission for the 'embedded page' to use the microphone. I've set Chrome to 'ask every time' but figma didn't ask, it just tells me to grant permission. How do I grant permission?

UPDATE: The Update UI was showing me only the conflicting page before showing me that there were a bunch of other updates from the main file. This is a very non-intuitive UI!I’m working in a Figma branch and want to pull changes from the Main file (which I know have been made, but are not showing up as Updates). When I go to view ‘Updates available from main file’, it’s showing me the content of a page from my Branch and showing that that same content is also in the Main file, which it is not. On top of that, it’s not showing me the changes that have been made to the Main file (which I know are there). 

 I’m trying to roll back a Figma Make file to a previous version, but it’s not allowing me to. I just get this message without any further context or explanation. No matter how far I rollback, same message. Has anyone else encountered this? Any idea how to resolve it? 

When I try to open a branch from the main file by clicking “Open,” nothing happens. There’s no loading state or error message, it just doesn’t respond.The workaround I found is to open it directly from the Home screen or by copying the branch link and opening it using “Open file URL from Clipboard”  

When exporting a session to PNG, the session title is rendered incorrectly if it contains Chinese characters. This feature is not working anymore on MacOS on the newest version 125.6.5 (I have this issue on my Macbook Pro M4 and Mac mini M2). Fortunately, my Windows PC is still working.If anyone has this issue, please help me raise this up to Figma!

Hi, I’m facing a strange behaviour right now and I did not find a way to make it work yet…Maybe you folks can help me find a solution or point me in the right direction. My plan is to create a sidebar navigation pattern where designers can modify the menu structure easily. The structure of the example includes a “Single Item” component set where all the different navigation link type are collected (e.g. Headline, Link, Subline, Divider, etc.) and a “Section” component set that is used to allow the designers to choose how many navigation items they want to have in a section. Now to the strange behaviour. When I use the “Mobile” boolean on the “Single Item” component all works as expected. Inactive “Mobile” is full width and active “Mobile” is max-width of 68px. I have several components that I need to let users freely add their own content to certain sections. Currently, the only way I can find to do this is to create a blank area and have the user place a frame of their own on top, ignoring the parent frame’s auto layout. Instead, I want them to be able to drag their own content into an editable frame within my component so that the component will resize based on their added content.The most commonly recognizable example of this is a modal component. I want to have the same header, footer, and frame on all components but I want to leave a space in the body area for the user to put anything they want. I’ve seen the slot swap idea but that only works if I have a hand full of pre-made configurations. In my modal component, I have no idea what the end user (the designer) might dream up. They might have a form, they might need a paragraph on top or a table or an image or two, etc. I want to let them do that without breaking the componen

Hi, as of today the button for Figma make in the toolbar is gone. Neither I nor my colleagues can access it anymore. You can still press actions and search for “Figma make”. But honestly it makes work a lot slower.

  I'm going to proceed with Figma student authentication by school mail, but when I exceeded the number of mail authentication about 3 times, the Verification Limit Exceed message appears and the authentication is limited. It's a serious situation where all the developers of our team can't develop due to the sudden cutoff of student authentication, so please exceed the number of certifications as soon as possible. Seems like the line between the FigJam options and the Halloween toggle has a divider that gets outside of its container. :-)

Hey when I copy a figma make design and drop it in the file I’m having an issue were lots of text is wrapping to a second row when in the design preview its on a single line. It’s really slowing down my work as I have to manually click on all instances and double click to get the text back on to a single line. See the example picture of figma make preview vs copy design

I have a repeatable pattern, where the source use a variable that has two modes; light and dark. The mode is set to auto (default: light) on the pattern frame itself. When the pattern is applied and I swap the mode in a frame from light to dark; everything changes, except from the pattern. In my case the pattern should have turned to a dark color. Is this a bug? A feature? And is there a workaround? Repeatable diagonal line pattern 

This is a revival of : Is there any news on this? I really would like to be able to move using the middle click without it catching the paste like other Apps like Excalidraw do.

Icon is sized incorrectly after updating latest from a published library.Detaching the instance fixes the offset, but is obviously no longer a component.Similarly I have a progress bar that is not obeying its fill and goes beyond its frame. Detaching the instance fixes it.
