I’m having an issue when moving components between files. Every time I transfer them, they seem to break from the original file. I’ve already tried all the solutions I could find in the forums, but the components still break when moved into a different file.Could someone from support please help me move these components into a new file connected to the design system? 

I get that I can use “after delay” but if the user sits at the top of the page longer than the delay, when they finally scroll to the object, the animation has already finished. Is there a better way?

FIGMA IF YOU ARE READING THIS, I have had a support case open for days and you have not responded. This is critical for my organization.We’ve created a table component in Figma and published a CodeConnect mapping using what used to be called Figma’s no-parser setup and now appears to just be documented under “template API” (https://developers.figma.com/docs/code-connect/template-api/).If we look at the snippet in the Figma sidebar, our code snippet shows up just fine, but when we query the MCP server, we get back its own completely-fabricated guess as to what it should be instead of our snippet, including dumping raw Figma props onto our React component instead of the mapped props.If we only add one row from the table, it works fine. If we add more than that, it fails. My best guess is some sort of size limit that Figma MCP has and then it falls back to something else? I have tried everything I can think of and am at a loss.

In our team’s Figma component library, I successfully connected Figma Code Connect with a Github repository. I successfully connected an individual component, but in Dev Mode, when I click on it, i expect to see a React code snippet, but all I see is a “View connection” button. Hi team!I found some strange behavior with Slots in instances.Context:A component has a slot with content, and part of that content is placed inside frames — for example, in my case they are additional chart lines with dots. Frames witn the line 1 and line 2 are visible, other 8 frames with lines are hidden. Some of those hidden elements are controlled by component properties. If you change the content, enable or disable any of the hidden frames inside the slot in an instance, all hidden elements inside those frames disappear.  

How do I get around this? I keep getting “downstream service error” while trying to generate an image and this had happened at least 4 times in a row. 4out of 5 times it only works now. I have reset my connection, opened and closed the tab, nothing seems to be working.

I had a Figma Professional plan from March 24 to April 24. After purchasing the plan, the subscription charge was deducted from my card. I then downgraded/cancelled the paid plan after the full month ended.However, Figma has charged my card again, even though my team still shows as being on the Starter plan, not the Professional plan. I’ve been playing around with Codex & today I installed the Figma plugin in order to try out some of the new features & skills such as creating a file, creating a design system, etc. Everything went well, I was able to log into my company Figma account and verify that all the skills were present. However, when I attempted to use some of these skills, I was told that I only had read only access.After this, I attempted to troubleshoot by quitting out of both Figma and Codex, uninstalling & reinstalling the plugin, turning on dev mode & enabling the local MCP server inside of Figma (I was using the remote server before), but nothing seems to work. Based on what I see in the instructions, it should theoretically work out of the box, so to speak.Has anybody encountered this problem before, and if so, how did you fix it? Perhaps I’m doing something wrong, or if there’s a flag that needs to be enabled on the administrative side that will let me use these skills? If there isn’t

Hello, I recently paid for a full account and started generating designs in Figma Make, but the first 10 designs simply generated errors. The AI ​​wrote the code, but due to agent errors, it didn't display previews, and about 500 tokens were wasted while I was troubleshooting the display issue with the agents. I can send you the chat logs, where the agent points out the errors (the agent itself) and attempts to restart the design. The issue has now been resolved, but I would like a refund for the 500 tokens I wasted. If possible, I would be grateful. 

I have a component for form options that on some occasions needs a tooltip. The problem is that if you set the text layer to Hug, the text will not wrap for narrow content areas. And if set to Fill, it pushes the icon component. I really just want it to function like html <p> My text label <span>[icon]<span></p>Because of this issue, designers need to detach the core component just to add a tooltip (and the they use the incorrect icon size and style). Or they are just slapping the icon and moving it over the component just so it ‘looks’ like its at the end of the paragraph. This is frustrating me to no end. Figma is supposed to be a tool to create web interfaces, yet the most basic of web features, inline-block text isn’t possible to accomplish. Is there a hack?

Hey so I’ve noticed that if I create a component set, which has different size variants and for each variant I have defined different text styles sizes utilising variables. If I have for instance three different link component sizes in the component set and each link variant is set to a a small, medium, large text style. What I’ve observed is that if It apply the ‘Text’ property to the text layers. For some reason they all ignore what they’re designated text style is and all adopt the same large text style. No matter what I do I can’t seem to stop it from changing the text style? 

I was using Figma Slides for my design sign off with stakeholders and they love the Stamps feature as it makes sign-off a bit more fun. But my problem is that when I export the slides into PDF, I either lost all the name under the stamps or even worse, some name come across and some don’t :( It would be good to have the slides retain all the stamps when exported as this is a requirement to our sign off documents in making sure that they are not editable
