Unable to Verify for Figma Education Plan – Verification Limit Exceeded

I hope you're doing well.

I am a current student and I'm trying to apply for the Figma Education plan. However, when I attempt to verify my student status, I receive the following error:

"Verification Limit Exceeded – It looks like you've already redeemed or attempted to redeem this offer."

I believe I may have attempted to apply for the Education plan in the past, but I am currently unable to complete the verification process. I would appreciate it if you could check my account and help me reset or resolve the verification issue so I can access the Education plan.

Hey ​@Het Shah, I can see your support ticket (Ticket #2012125) was closed out. I am happy to help out.

The "Verification Limit Exceeded" error is something only SheerID (our verification partner) can reset on their end:

  • Email SheerID directly at figmasupport@sheerid.com and mention the "Verification Limit Exceeded" error.
  • Make sure you're logged into Figma with your school-issued email (not a personal one) when you retry.
  • Avoid verifying over a VPN, since that can trigger this error too.

SheerID's typical response time is around 6 business days, so if you haven't heard back within that window (or if they get back to you and aren't able to help), let us know here and I'll open that follow-up ticket and get our Education team looped in to take it further.
