Rubayat Ahmed

Hi,

I was trying to set up code connect with github enterprise account, but the install button on github page is not responding anything.

I am stuck in this step. FYI -

  1. I am on Full Seat plan(Enterprice)
  2. Logged in in Github using the EMU
  3. I am the owner of the Design Library file where I am trying to set up code connect.
  4. Trying using VPN and without using it as well.
  5. Bypass proxy settings for ‘.figma.com’

Let me know if you need any other information from my side. Looking forward for the fix.

Thanks.

Hey @Rubayat Ahmed, thanks for reaching out, and for the detailed troubleshooting you've already done!

Since the Install button isn't responding at all on that GitHub page, this points to something happening on GitHub's side before the request even reaches Figma. A couple of things worth checking:

  1. Account permissions: Are you able to confirm whether your GitHub account has organization owner (or equivalent admin) permissions for the org you're trying to install into? Installing GitHub Apps can behave differently depending on the permission level.
  2. Browser console: Could you open your browser's developer tools (F12 or right-click → Inspect), go to the Console tab, and click Install again? Any errors that appear there would help narrow this down.
  3. Different browser or incognito window: This helps rule out browser extensions (ad blockers, script blockers) interfering with GitHub's page.

For reference, here's our guide on connecting a GitHub repository for Code Connect.

If you go through the above and it's still stuck, this will need a closer look at your specific account setup. In that case, please reach out through our support team through out support hub so we can dig in properly.Â
