Our team is on the Professional plan. I’m a member with a Dev seat. The Code Connect quickstart and help center both say Professional plans can use Code Connect with one active library and one active framework, so we tried to set it up for our design system library. Two things block us:No Code Connect scope: when I create a personal access token, Code Connect isn’t in the list of scopes. Without it, figma connect publish can’t run. Mappings rejected: saving a single mapping through the Figma MCP server (send_code_connect_mappings) returns: “Code connections can only be made in libraries that are in Organization or Enterprise plans.”Our template files parse fine locally with the CLI (v2.0.2), so the setup itself looks right.Is Code Connect actually available on Professional plans now? or are the docs wrong?

The logic is handled in code, but the UI/UX side is what I’m trying to get right in Figma.I’m designing a date picker component that needs to: Support both Hijri and Gregorian calendars Work in RTL Arabic and LTR English Handle mobile viewports cleanly Show clear month/year navigation without clutter Optionally allow a quick toggle between the two calendars I’m struggling with how to structure the component set and variants in Figma. Should I use separate components for each calendar, or one component with variants? How do you handle RTL mirroring for date pickers? Any tips for keeping the layout clean when the two calendar systems have different month lengths and names?Would love to see examples or component structures from anyone who has designed for bilingual or RTL date inputs.Thanks!

We manage several email templates for monthly campaigns, each built with a set number of components. While not every email uses every component, we only remove existing sections as needed—we don’t add new ones.Can Buzz support this kind of workflow? Specifically, can components be toggled on or off within Buzz so unused sections are removed and the overall email layout automatically adjusts? ThanksJ

I’m using a popover component with a slot. One of the items inside the slot is a fixed-height auto-layout container with a list of items. I want this list to overflow:scroll vertical, however, the prototype scroll options are disabled. I tried nesting this in a new frame and the scroll options are disabled for this new frame as well.I’m trying to avoid breaking the original component and utilize the slot. Is scrolling only preserved for the slot itself or can you embed scrollable items within a slot?Here’s a video showing more detail:

Hi everyone,I’m currently working on a multi-brand design system in Figma using Variables, and I’ve structured it into three collections:• Primitives• Semantics• ComponentsBoth the Semantics and Components collections use the same set of modes, which represent different brand themes (Brand X, Brand Y, etc.).However, I’m running into a problem:At the moment, there’s no way to tell Figma that the modes in these separate collections are related to each other. Because of that, interaction colors defined in the Semantics collection (for example blue in Brand X and green in Brand Y) can both appear as blue in the Components collection preview.This becomes confusing because when both modes are actually applied to a component, the final rendered result is different from what the Variables preview in Figma suggests.One possible solution I’m considering is merging the Semantics and Components layers into a single collection.The downside is that it becomes less organized, but the advantage is tha

Hi everyone, I am currently putting together a responsive gaming client concept in Figma, taking inspiration from the interface structure found on this website. I am running into a frustrating issue where my nested auto-layout containers refuse to resize dynamically when switching between desktop and mobile viewport presets. Whenever the frame scales down, the primary navigation text wraps unexpectedly and forces adjacent button components outside the visible canvas instead of respecting the fill container rules. Has anyone encountered similar inheritance glitches with nested auto-layout groups, and what is the best way to maintain clean responsiveness without rebuilding each screen variant from scratch?

Hi Figma team,I'd like to request a per-account option to disable the AI sparkle (✦) icon that appears when hovering over elements in the editor.Currently, the only way to turn off Figma AI features is at the team admin level, which requires admin access and affects all team members. There's no way for an individual user to opt out of the AI hover trigger on their own account.For users who don't use Figma AI, this icon adds visual noise to the editing experience and can interfere with the workflow — especially when working with dense layers or small elements, where the sparkle icon overlaps with other controls.Requested behavior: add a toggle in user account preferences (e.g. Account Settings → Editor preferences) to show/hide the AI sparkle icon on hover, independently from team-level AI settings.Thank you for considering this!

I keep running into the problem that I select, say, 5 files to export, but the downloaded zip file contains only 2. I don’t receive any kind of error, and there’s nothing obviously wrong with the other 3, I can download them just fine on the second attempt, they are just (seemingly randomly) skipped the first time. This doesn’t happen ALL the time, but often enough to be annoying. What could I be missing here?

First I created a new Figma design file A in the team XYZ then, I was able to see my organization library PQR, I added , then with some reason I removed , but again when I want to add it again , but the same library not appearing at all. But in the same team XYZ, I created another design file B, again I am able to see the same library PQR, what could be the reason.

Thanks everyone,Here is my setup visual. I wish to set up this component with 3 properties. I can successfully set up 2, but the third continues to not work. The problem property is the icon/light-forest layer. I want that to be another Nested instance, just like the hex-color layer. Every time I try, I get the “Not used within component” error, and it doesn’t show up as a Nested instance when I try to link it. I don’t understand what I’m doing incorrectly.-Chris
