Hi everyone — I’m seeing unexpected behaviour in the Figma Desktop app on my Mac and hoping others can confirm or help.What’s happening: When I try to scroll up and down with my mouse/trackpad in the Figma Desktop app, the canvas zooms in and out instead of panning/scrolling. This happens even when I’m not holding the Cmd key (⌘). When it occurs: It happens consistently in the Figma Desktop app on macOS and on the browser version. It doesn’t seem to matter whether I use a trackpad swipe or a USB mouse scroll wheel. What I expect: Normal vertical scrolling should move the viewport up/down (or if at canvas edge, scroll the file UI). Zooming should only occur when I hold the appropriate modifier (Cmd/Ctrl or pinch gesture), not for plain scroll gestures. What I’ve tried so far: Restarted Figma app Restarted macOS Checked Figma Desktop Preferences for any scroll/zoom settings Tried both my MacBook trackpad and an external USB mouse Tested in a different Figma file and in the same file

I’m trying to get Cline to ingest Figma files for a variety of use cases. One is to have it run a checklist of design library guidelines on a set of screens that are nearly ready to be passed to Dev. Or, have Cline be a chatbot assistant that understands a very large service blueprint. However, whenever I give it the Figma files, it always locks up as there is way too much information in the files for the model to take on. I’ve tried to parse or chunk this out but nothing seems to work. Can anyone help me understand what I can do differently? I’m using the MCP server, and saw from a YouTube video (22 mins mark) that the MCP should have a way to auto chunk this but I cannot get this to work. TIA

I am the admin and sole Full Seat in an enterprise/company account. Lately I feel like Figma changed the way they do permissions but I can’t put my finger on it. I saw a thread where people reported users getting 3-day access when they request an upgrade (I am truly shocked -- that is a huge security and file integrity risk). I don’t think I’ve come across that yet but I’m very stressed at the prospect. Today’s weird details:Someone I’ve never heard of in my company requested to edit a file, and I clicked DENY (I’m the only designers and closely guard the files). In fact I don’t remember anyone ever requesting to edit a file, and I’ve gotten TWO edit requests this week. I went into admin to double check, and there was this guy listed with a FULL SEAT. I hovered over it and it said he was manually approved by me just before! I had to change his access to Collab (the only files I’ve allowed people to edit are FigJam files).  I’m not going pretend it couldn’t have been user error, but I h

Already asked here:  But I’m having this same issue and have no idea what the resolution is.Things keep showing as edited and “properties changed” when I didn’t touch those pages at all. My team and I now have to make another branch off the main when we are done working, copy and paste our work into the second branch and archive the first branch we did all the work in bc the first branch always shows so many edits and we can’t pin down what is going on.

Is there a way in Figma, or a plugin, to give me a way to see or find out where a variable is being used in a component library. For example, how can I find out where “background.primary” is being used?Also, with that being said, is the a plugin that will give me all the variables for a single component?Thanks!!

I can’t figure out how to change the layout of an existing slide in Figma Slides. When creating a new slide, I can choose a layout from the theme, but once the slide is added, I can’t find a way to switch it to a different layout.Am I missing something? Often, I realize later that a different layout would work better and want to apply one of the theme’s template layouts to an existing slide—but I don’t see an option to do that. The only option I can find is “Template Style,” which seems to change only text styles and colors, not the layout itself.Is there a way to reapply or change slide layouts after a slide has been created?

Empty spaces in sticky components are allowing clicks for the components below them. The sticky frame has a solid fill with natural blending mode. It is also above the other components in the layers panel.How to block the clicks?

May I know how can we share the dev mode to the external developers? We would invite them as a guest for the file, but can the external developer paid for the full seat account?

Hello Figma Team / Community,I’m facing an issue accessing my Figma account.I originally signed up using my previous company’s Google account (which is now suspended because the company has shut down). As a result, I no longer have access to that email address and can’t receive password reset or verification links.Now I’m stuck because: Figma only allows email changes through confirmation on the old (suspended) address. Support replies are also being sent to that same old email, so I can’t see any responses. I still have full proof of ownership of the account (workspace name and other info).Could someone from the Figma team please contact me privately so I can verify my identity and update my account to a new email?(For privacy reasons, I’m not sharing my old or new email publicly, but I can provide both directly to the support team.)Thank you for your help! 🙏

I have the education plan and now i can not see the inspect features and also some other properties in making responsive the layout like spaceBetween what is the issue? 

I’ve set this component to include both text and a background. I’m using a boolean to hide the background, but when it’s hidden, the component doesn’t shrink to fit the text — it keeps the same size as when the background is visible.
