I am trying to add multiple drop and downs in a frame one after another in vertical arrangement. When I open the drop down menu it overlaps on the other objects in the frame instead i want to push it other objects downward.

I have added iOS and Android ui kits to my file. Is there a way to structure the libraries. For instance I want my own library to be the primary source. But now I have to scroll down a very long list before I reach my own components. It’s tedious when you have to do this every time.

While selecting the image or creating any component, instant access of these tools not working. Next, I have to close the design-file. Then, I will access the tool. This issue is happening from long time.

Hi guys, i was looking for a Figma tutorial. During the creation of a landing page, the man is creating a series of autolayout frame and than, he put inside others one. This workflow is a bit messy, so i was wondering, why just arrange in the proper position the elements and than create auto layout for each field ? HI when i work in a branch, i want to share a link to a specific section. the link is generated, but it takes u to the cover page of the branch file. But when i work from the main file (not a branch). the links work fine. this really harms my communication with the team 😦

Hello! I am currently working on setting up Figma scim provisioning between our IDP and the Figma application. A couple questions. I cannot access previously created accounts that weren’t created through SCIM through the SCIM API. Why? SCIM is supposed to just be a compatibility API layer that goes on top of Identity backend data that makes it so that all applications have a common way to access this information. Because of previous step, I will have to go in and create a POST request via the .csv report I can download from Figma as an admin to actually create the account. Does creating an Account with the same userName and externalId automatically link these accounts? How will i know these accounts are linked? Is there any risk that when I create these accounts via scim, it will overwrite projects and reset accounts? If I create an account, do I have to also transfer the seat configs via the scim api, or if I don’t, will seat status also be reset? (figmaPermission, devModePe

Hi all, Did Figma change the way auto layout operates? I always used to able to highlight 2 (or more) auto layout frames, and then add auto layout to that selection, but am no longer able to do so. Hey I got a message while creating a Signin page with sample email and mobile number. I got a message popup with “Saving File Failed Message” and a very lengthy system generated message that was unable to close anyhow. Therefore I tried to quit the Figma app which also was not allowed. Finally, I have to kill the app inorder to come out of the situation.

The buttons used in Figma’s online demos and prototype examples are either rectangles, text objects, or a simplified component with no interactivity. That’s different from everyday prototyping when you’ve already built buttons and nav bars with interactivity. We’re trying to Scroll To using a navigation bar or another button with states so a Scrolls while also respecting the button’s state change from “active” to “selected”. When there are two On Clicks on a prototype, I can trigger the behavior of one or another. Not both. If I use an On Click and a Mouse Up/Down, same failure. One always kills off the other. Could someone point to a demo that changes both a button’s state AND scroll to simultaneously (or after a delay)?

I have a frame which contains content which is twice the height of the frame, with vertical scrolling enabled for overflowing content. Using the rest API, I want to be able to export the frames entire contents as an image, not just the contents visible in the frames bounds. I have tried various combinations of the documented ‘use_absolute_bounds’ and ‘contents_only’ parameters with no luck, the exported image is always cropped to the dimensions of the frame. Any ideas? It used to be possible to select a text word and by clicking on dropdown (I think) in the Typography menu copy the font name in the window that opens. Now there is no option to copy the font name at all. Because of this, you have to type the name in the font search box every time. It is not always necessary to add some text settings to styles.

I added an image to a file, and the following error message appeared: “Error: This document contains unsaved changes. These changes are saved locally and will sync when Figma reconnects.”

I have a simple setup: -A button component which is underlined on hover. In preview mode the font is not displayed correctly. And sometimes the preview mode goes crazy and shows that the font is not loaded, even though it is a system font Arial Black. But I only have this problem with all fonts in preview mode. Only when I load the prototype does everything work perfectly. I find it strange that preview mode reacts so differently than prototype mode. I have this problem with all my files in preview mode, that the preview renders the font differently than the prototype mode. Can someone help me? I have already reset the cache program cache. Hi folks, So basically I have an issue regarding the bottom sheet behavior. So, currently, I want the bottom sheet to appear on the contextualized homepage. Right now, I screenshot the contextual homepage and attached it to the bottom sheet and its overlay frame. All I want to know, is there any way that I don’t have to do the manual effort to change every single contextualized homepage whenever the scenario occurred?
