Hi! I have a problem on safari with the export of my illustrations in SVG. When one of my paths or objects has a drop shadow, it gets pixelated when displayed in the safari browser. The problem does not occur on Chrome and when my illustrations come from another software, I do not have this problem. Is it someone would have a small idea? Thanks 😉

Trying to use a local gradient color in a file for an illustration and when I try to load the local colors saved in the stroke style menu the entire sidebar turns white and is unresponsive until I reload the page. Using chrome due to personal preference. After reloading the page the same problem repeats. Browser up to date.

Why must developers have Full permissions to access Developer mode, which also grants them design editing rights? Is it possible to set these permissions separately, and when can we expect improvements to this feature?

Tell me how to see in the version history in which frames there were changes. For example, I have 150 screens in the file, several screens were changed yesterday. What screens were included?

A designer on my team did some select component refactor work. Instead of updating the master component they created a copy of the master component and made their updates on the copy. They deleted the original master component, and then the working branch was merged to the main library file. Now in library analytics it is showing thatselect has zero inserts anywhere across the org. Did deleting the master component, remove the analytics from the library? Even if the name is the same? I’ve tried to go back in version history to before the merge, but the library still shows select as having zero inserts. (version history should capture the component analytics as well no?) Can someone at Figma please explain if it is possible to retrieve the data?

Hi everyone! I’m struggling with some icons scale to my Design System and i need some help. I want to make an Icon set that simultaniously responds: size and weight according to each other, but I don’t want to create tons of icons to do that. I’ve got the impression that I can make it happen by the variables. Does anyone have a hint? I would like the designers to be able to choose the size of the icon they want to use and then select the available weights for that icon size.

Im creating components in a library and using them to build out a design, but the components arent displaying as they have been designed in the library? So weird. For example, I have a modal that has three buttons at 44px height and no matter what I do, it wont render the modal with the correct buttons. Also, ive set all my buttons in the library to 44px and they are coming into the design at 38px? No idea why this is happening and its driving me bonkers

When sharing a link to a specific screen, the URL not open the screen, or the section, only the file. It happened only with one file, with other files it’s working fine. Any idea why it’s happening? I tried to see if there is any settings for the file but I couldn’t find anything. Thanks!

Just updated desktop to v 124.1.16. A feature that I used ALL THE TIME and was dependent on was the ability to click just to the left of the interaction in the prototype panel, while an object was selected, click CMD+C, select a different object, and CMD+V. The interaction is copied and pasted from one object to another. HUGE TIME SAVER, and I loved it. However, I’m disappointed to see that with my latest upgrade that feature is no longer available. It just pastes the object instead of the interaction. What gives? Is there an alternative? My interactions can get pretty complex, and retyping for every object that shares it is just a recipe for frustration.

I submitted this bug Q1 2022 and it was a verified bug that was fixed for many, but it seems to be back again. Components that have nested instances with variable widths are not resizing correctly. You can see in this short video: I start with a component that has two different sized variants Both variants have autolayout and hug contents on them I have a container component which contains a single shape and one instance of the nested block. That container component has autolayout and hug contents set as well. If i change the variant inside the master container component, the master container component expands as it should. I have an instance of the master container component at the bottom, where if I change the nested block component variant, you can see that the master container component doesn’t appropriately respond in size. Hi all, Can I create a frame in Figma that directly translates to a slide in Figma Slides that will automatically update in Slides if I update it in Figma? Thanks! Jen

I have added the Material Design 3 design kit to Figma. The device sizing is showing 412 x 892 for mockups. In Figma the large Android Device is 380 x 800. How do you get these two sizes to align in Figma? If I just scale everything I lose the layout guides? Plus it is a pain to scale everything. What am I missing?

As per this article I should be able to find a Members icon in All Projects but I am unable to find such icon. Another strange issue is that when I go to the project and click share then I see that it is shared with “Anyone in adsviewer team” and that the team consists of 6 members (which is correct). But then when I go to a file and click share I see the same “Anyone in adsviewer team” but then next to it it has only 1 member (the owner). I have verified that this file can be accessed by multiple people. Thoughts?

There’s a 1px grey line showing up on the left, right, and bottom edges of the preview mode window. As you can see in the photo, this only happens on a specific monitor. Are there any upcoming updates that might address this issue? If not, is there a way I can fix it myself?

Hi everyone! There are two elements in my design that interact when tapped. Screen1: Consists of a list of files. Select one to go to Screen2. Screen2: I want to click a heart button that changes color on tapping (using open overlay). After this, I want to go back to Screen1. However if I click the heart button, back button won’t work. But If I do not click the heart button, the back button works. Only one of them works. How to make them work together? I tried changing the heart button from click to after delay, but the problem persists.

Hi all 🙂 Can you please guide me. This particular case is new for me, I need your advice. The thing is: I need to share Figma file to the client so he can play around with color variables to build new Mode that will suite his brand colors. It should be separated from the main file. Also I need to avoid him pushing changes to the master library. In my imagination it works this way: I send a link to a file to the client, file is wired to master library so he can create Modes; After he done - my dev team goes into this separate file and grab all Modes into development. Will it work only inside my team project? I should invite client inside team project with Edit rights? Will variables remains working if he copy the project into his drafts?

Hi! I made a vertical scroll page, and I want to add scroll bar to it. So that I should be able to scroll with a scroll wheel/finger AND drag the scroll bar, while the scrolled progress is shared. Like the bar moves as I scroll down with the wheel. I searched for some tutorials but I couldn’t find how to put both for scrolling the same contents. Is it possible to make such thing?

Right panel is offscreen. I have to scroll right & left in toolbar to see panels Can only view 1 at a time). Not sure what I did to do this, but I can’t get them on screen together again??? I’ve tried the shortcuts, but to no help. UGH!
