Hello Figma Community, I’m writing to express my frustration with a recent issue I’ve encountered as a freelancer. As a paid subscriber under the “Professional” plan with one design seat, I’ve always appreciated Figma for its collaborative capabilities. However, I’ve run into a situation where collaborating with an agency, which also has paid subscriptions and design seats for their internal designers, incurs additional costs. It feels unfair that, despite already paying for a subscription, I have to either pay again to work on team files or expect the agency to cover the cost of an extra design seat for an external collaborator like myself. This essentially forces me to pay double, which goes against the spirit of what made Figma great for collaboration. This pricing model seems to penalize freelancers and small teams who want to collaborate with other organizations. Hi! I searched for this issue in the community but couldn’t fix my problem with those articles. Is anyone having problems with the spell check? Somehow it didn’t work on my files. I already deleted the cache from my desktop app, activated and deactivated the functionality, changed languages, and nothing seems to work. I noticed that this issue began a few weeks ago, and the most recent post about spelling check issues was in 2023. Hopefully, someone can help me.

How do I show different screens depending on the day for example - If it is between monday and friday when clicking a button take to screen 2, if its saturday or sunday take to screen 3.

I have a design system library with some collections of colors, radius and scaling. When I try to publish the library, it seems like they don’t exist. What do I have to do so these styles are published to the library so I can use them in other files?

I’m trying to make a price box in a mobile design which hovers over the rest of the page, so the user can make changes to their purchase, and the priceboks will change with these changes. My problem arises when the user clicks “see details” to see the details of the purchase. This results in the pricebox growing and showing add-ons and removed items. I have created a component set, so the initial component can change into this larger version. I have placed this component in absolute position, and this works great. However, when the user clicks “see details” the full detail version grows downwards and outside the frame. How do i decide the postion of the component variant it switches to?? Thanks!

Hey friends, I’m desperately looking for a plugin capable of replacing a pure hex code color with a variable. I’ve tested a bunch of plugins, but none of them work well. Oh, yes, I’ve tried the simple “select all” and “show all colors in the selection,” but it looks like it doesn’t work properly when your selection is huge. Any tips? Thanks!

Hello everyone, I am pretty sure Figma had a Wrap in new Section option in the top bar, which was pretty quick to do… but since the update do UI3, I can only find it by right clicking / chosing the option, which is one more click and not as precise (can´t click anywhere in the canvas). It would be great if this option was in the kebab menu in the frame options. Anyone?

First of all: I am an Org Admin. At the moment I am having several difficulties with roles and rights for teams and projects. For some time now, several teams have not had an owner assigned. In two of the teams, an external employee who is no longer in the project was previously the owner. After he left, the account was deleted. Now these projects no longer have an owner. However, I would like to assign one or define myself as the owner. However, this is not possible using the known methods outlined in various other community questions. Not even by experimentally leaving the team. I no longer have any access to another team. Although I am an Org Admin, I can neither manage nor join the team. As far as I know, the team has another member, but with viewer rights, not an admin. What should I do?

I have a problem with a text component that has a simple hover effect which changes the font. When I integrate this text component into my navigation component and duplicate it, changing the text for different navigation items, the hover effect does not display correctly on other computers in the prototype. The fonts used are custom fonts provided by the client. These fonts are used elsewhere in my Figma file and display correctly. The issue with the font not displaying properly only occurs when I duplicate the text component and change the text. Am I doing something wrong, or do I need to create a new component for each navigation item?

Even my screen doesnot show properly i choose 1440*900 screen for prototyping even try full width and also full width with height. Also content doesnot show correctly it shows in a small screen in top of page even its on middle in my design

I’d love to see the text decoration on the side panel. It’s super handy, especially with so many text styles.

I use the Magic Mouse as a trackpad. However, sometimes it mistakenly recognizes the touch input as a zoom gesture instead of a screen movement, which is inconvenient. Anyone have a solution to avoid this problem?

Working on a simple Fig file. I have a couple of design pages in it with some shape blocking for a new app. The blocks are all inside a Layout. Everything was working fine. Making edits I tried to select and resize one of the objects inside the layout, suddenly I can’t move or resize any object inside the layout. Then suddenly I could, then it stopped again and nothing I do can unwind it. It’s almost like the layout is locked, but it isn’t…? I also can’t move the objects inside the layout outside of the layout to work with them. Super frustrating… basically this has blown up my workflow. Is there a bug related to layouts in Fig files? Is there a way to unwind this? Thanks, Rick

Im not sure if it’s a bug or something, but adding a layer blur to an object that has some sort of blending mode set, will just reset it back to normal… at least visually. It’s still set as the blending mode i set it to, it just acts as if it were set to normal; im not really sure if there’s a way to fix it

Does anybody know a good C++ plugin for Figma Dev mode? CSS and two mobile languages are not cutting it. I tried searching the plugin browser but couldn’t find anything useful. Thanks!

Is there a way to have 2 frames in a parent where the parent still responsively hugs both children? For example, I’m trying to create a button, but I want more control over the state layer separate from the label frame. But… I still want state layer’s width to change. I cannot figure out how to make the frames separate, but “equal”

Please I could use some guidance, I didn’t delete the drafts and they aren’t in the deleted files folder or nowhere to be found. Until yesterday I could see and use the drafts without any problems and today they are gone. Please help what do you think I could recover them or instead should I look for a Figma alternative where files just don’t disappear?

In dev mode if I click an element it is automatically zooming into that element without pressing the “Zoom to selection” shortcut. I don’t like this behaviour but I can’t find an option to turn it off.
