Hi everyone,I’m experiencing a frustrating issue with Figma Make. It seems like the autosave isn't working properly: every time I try to close the file, I get a warning saying that my changes are not saved, even though I've been working on it for a while. The biggest problem is that I’ve wasted all my AI credits repeating the same prompt dozens of times. I was trying to apply the same edit repeatedly because the changes simply wouldn't show up in the Prototype mode.Basically, I paid the "credit price" for the generation multiple times, but since the file failed to sync/save, I have nothing to show for it and now my quota is empty.Has anyone encountered this "save loop" or found a way to force a sync when Figma Make hangs? Also, is there a way to contact support for a credit refund in cases of technical glitches like this? Thanks for any help!
After creating an asset in Figma Buzz, I export it to PDF. However, when the asset opens in Adobe Reader, the name of the asset matches the Figma name, which I use an internal naming scheme for.I don’t want to email an asset with an internal name that’ll be visible to customers. But, I can’t seem to discover how to avoid this without having to do a separate step post-export.So, QUESTION: is there a way to control the display title of the PDF export without having to change my internal naming convention?
Hi Im Claudia. I cant access my account. It says that You no longer have access to this organization. My cc is deducted but still me and my team unable to access it. My id is an admin. I already submitted the ticket but still no follow up until today. Please kindly help. Thank you
Hi Figma team,First, congratulations on the Slots feature. It’s a smart idea and performs very well in my tests.Issue summaryWhen migrating components that previously relied on “Swap instance,” I have to add a wrapper frame around the existing instance to use a Slot. Then, every time I place that component, I end up deleting or replacing the inner instance to populate the slot. This breaks my expected workflow: I want to continue using the original instance as the default slot content so that when I instantiate the component I don’t need to manually remove the inner instance each time. Also, if I delete the instance that served as the swap source, the child components lose their contents (the previously swapped instances). What would be your recommendations for managing the migration from the old system to this new feature?
Help! I’m the first designer in the company for 2 years and the Figma files are all over the shop. I’m logged in as the finance woman, and have created my own work email. But how do I get access to the work files with my new Figma email? Also, and more importantly, all the files are now ‘locked’. They were editable on Friday. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Figma doesn’t allow you to bind variables at the component source level, and you can bind only at the instance. This breaks down in real use cases where components require unique variant configurations that can’t be predetermined at the variable level. That limitation makes modes ineffective for true desktop-to-mobile automation. In such cases, you need to change the variant and change the mode to get a true platform conversion. Is there a suggested workaround?
My team has noticed an issue with slots: we’ve created structural (private) components that we want to set as a preferred instance in a component’s slot. However, since those structural components aren’t published, designers will not be able to see them or use them as a preferred instance. For example: Structural component: single radio button optionMain component: Radio button group, with slot to add additional radio button options I’m able to set the preferred instance of the main component’s slot to use the structural component. However, when you try to use the component in an actual file it doesn’t work. You can’t see the structural component as a preferred instance since it’s not published. Is there a way around this? We have a number of structural components like this that we don’t want to have to publish. For now, we’re going to have to publish them with specific naming on not to use outside of a slot.
Is there any way in Figma where we can lock the design project for further updates. Currently the engineers starts consuming the Figma designs but there is a possibility that UX team updates the designs/colors etc which will impact engineering work.Figma also do not have the change log to verify the past designs. So I am looking for a locking mechanism for save development.
Missing Auto layout panel & layers icon type in one specific user. It seems like some kind of bug
Hey @Celine_ ,First of all, thank you for reaching out to me.I would like to let you know that my Figma account is still suspended when I try to log in via Google. Kindly restore it as soon as possible, as there are many important files in the account.Ticket ID: #1871351Regards,Pixel
Hi everyone,I’m currently working with Figma Sites and I’m trying to find the best workflow for client presentations and feedback. When I share a prototype from a regular Figma Design file, the client can: view the project in preview/prototype mode navigate through the pages leave comments directly on the design However, when I use Figma Sites, I’m a bit confused about the sharing workflow. My questions are: Is there a way to share a Figma Sites project with a client so they can view it in preview mode without needing the published .figma.site link? Or is publishing the site currently the only way for clients to experience the project like a real website? Also, from what I understand: when sharing the published Figma Sites link, the client cannot leave comments directly on the live/preview experience while comments are only available through the Design/Prototype file Is that correct, or is there another workflow I might be missing? At the moment it feels like I need to maintain: a
Hi Figma Community,I’m reaching out to inquire about the current review timeline for new plugins. I submitted my plugin, "VINUFIX," about two weeks ago (on April 7th), and it is still showing as "Under Review."I understand that the typical turnaround time is 5–10 business days, but since that window has passed without any updates or feedback, I’m starting to wonder if there’s a general backlog in the review queue or if there might be an issue with my specific submission that needs addressing. This plugin is a vital tool for my team’s internal workflow, so we are quite eager to get it up and running. I am more than happy to provide any additional information or make necessary adjustments if something is holding up the process.Has anyone else experienced similar delays recently? Any advice or insight from the Figma team (or fellow developers) would be greatly appreciated!Thank you for your time and support.Best regards,혜진 hyejin
Hi everyone,The plugin PPTX to Figma Pro was submitted for review on March 31, 2026, and its status still shows “In review” with no updates or feedback received yet. This plugin is designed to help users import PPTX files into Figma while preserving layout, text, and styling details accurately. I’ve confirmed the plugin complies with all Figma plugin review guidelines, but I’m unsure if there is a delay in the process or any additional information needed from my side.If there is anything I need to adjust or submit, or if you could share an update on the current review timeline, I would greatly appreciate your assistance. Thank you so much for your time and support!
Hi everyone,Has anyone else encountered problems with long blank text copy paste? Sometimes copying large blocks of empty space from documents or webpages seems harmless, but pasting them into forums, chats, or editors can cause issues. It can take up unexpected space, slow down scrolling, or even crash certain apps. I’ve tried stripping formatting or using plain text tools, yet long blank text copy paste still creates headaches with very large blanks. Curious if others have a reliable method to handle it without manually deleting hundreds of empty lines.
I have been working on this new website project. I am using the smart animate feature in several places. Whenever I click to trigger the animation, the screen scrolls up for the amount of time set for the animation. If I set 100ms, then for that time, I am scrolled to the top of the website screen and scrolled back again. I miss my element being animated. The only thing I see is a quick glimpse of the header section of the website. I have tried to restart my Mac, restart Figma, and open my file in the browser version. I even tried to clean up the cache and nothing seems to help. I tried to use “instant” in animate, it is working fine. I have no idea of how to fix this problem.
I have connected ChatGPT and Figma and it drew a nice designs, but after edit number 5 it stopped and now ChatGPT falls back to standard image generation, saying that “You've reached the Figma MCP tool call limit for your View seat on the Professional plan”. Where can I see and track these credits? How to add them? How to optimize them so that on Pro plan I do not get this after 5 prompts?
I’m not able to connect Free Figma Account with Free cluade account in browser. Can anyone help me to solve the problem?
Hello, I have submitted my plugin almost 4 weeks ago still it is in pending and I also got ‘Update: Lokum: AI Design Review follows data security best practices’ email but still in review. Is this normal? My plugin https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1623800599793273567
Hey Figma community 👋I'm visualizing 7 levels of customer journey design (think: intent → execution, each level building on the last). Right now it lives in a horizontal format and it's... a lot of scrolling. Not ideal for stakeholders trying to actually absorb it.To be clear — this isn't an interactive prototype. It's a static design artifact that needs to communicate layered complexity clearly and beautifully. Here's my challenge:• 7 distinct levels, each with a name, focus, definition, and output• They're sequential AND interdependent• I want people to grasp the full picture AND be able to zoom into a single levelIdeas I've been considering:• Accordion-style sections within a frame• Nested frames or expandable component cards• A radial/layered diagram instead of a linear table• Progressive disclosure using overlapping cardsHas anyone tackled multi-level frameworks in Figma in a way that feels clean and digestible without losing the structure? Would love to see examples or hear how y
screenshot from Figma standalone appHi all, I’ve been attempting to learn Figma on my own for a year or more. I’m still stumped when it comes to how to tell my developer about padding and margin and special characters. I’d like the dev to use the … ellipsis special character but the best I could do in Figma is to tighten the letterspacing of three period characters, and leave a comment on the board. I’ve read here on the forums that designers are unable to communicate margin without an invisible spacer box?I have laid out this tiny card view which could show up as a card on its own, or have a active state with the yellow highlight ring, or have a photo under it. For now, I’ve turned the card alone into a component. I stretched the text box of the number id 593052… to touch the blue border and added 4px paragraph indent. (because when i originally built it, i moved the blue selection box of the text 4 pixels over from the edge.) I don’t have a way to indicate padding for the right edge
Hi all,I submitted a public OAuth app for review on March 26, and as of today it's been about a month without any update — no approval, rejection, or requests for changes. The submission page mentions a 5–10 business day turnaround, so I wanted to check in here.A few details:- App name: Brilliant- Submission date: March 26, 2026- Scopes requested: file_content:read, current_user:read- Testing instructions were included with the submissionTotally understand there's a backlog right now, but would really appreciate it if someone from the team could take a look and flag it internally, or let me know if anything additional is needed from my end. Thanks!
Hello everyone,My Figma account has been suspended. Could anyone please help me contact the support team to recover my suspended Figma account?Regards,Pixel
My education plan expired, so I paid for the pro plan, but all the existing files are gone...The email address is the same, and there is nothing in Draft or deleted files.I don't have any special emails..What should I do in this case?I can't even connect to the pygma link I wrote before
Hi there! I discovered slots are now in open beta and I'm really excited to get started with it. However, in my design system I previously used the Slot Editor plugin. How I'm looking into how to migrate that. I've checked the migration docs Figma offers but I don't think it applied to my use case. For example, we have a fold component which structurally looks something like this:in which the "Content <slot>" is what we use for the plugin.Just turning that into a Figma slot doesn't work, as updated instances lose their slot content.Anyone found a workaround for this? Or will it require an entire rebuild and check of all instances (Which are a lot) ?
Hello. Macbook Air resolution is 2880. The size of the layout in the Figma app is 1920. If I zoom to 100%, the layout doesn't fit completely on the screen, is that supposed to be the case? Thanks
