AI functionality disappeared on Pro Plan

I’m on the Pro Plan. Last week I used the First Draft functionality. Now it’s gone.

I understand that the new Agentic AI feature is in beta and is being rolled out gradually. However, the disappearance of the AI functionality is a roadblock.

I have plenty of AI credits left. Is joining the wait list my only option?

Hi @pltenpenny, thanks for reaching out!

This definitely sounds odd, since you were able to access first draft previously. I completely understand how this must be affecting your workflow. Please note that your AI tools are tied to your specific team/plan. When trying to use your AI tools is the file that you’re working from within your Pro plan’s team or another team without Professional plan features?

Are you able to share a URL link with Can view access? With the URL link, we should be able to investigate why this is happening.

Thanks for the quick response, @djv ! There’s no one else on my team (only one seat). Figma is on my personal computer and the file has not been shared with anyone else. Btw, the issue occurs both when I use the app and when I use Figma in the browser.

Where can I post the file so that you can see it?

Thanks for the additional context, @pltenpenny

You can post the link here in this topic thread as a reply, or you can send it to me directly via a private message, whichever you’d prefer.

Thanks, @pltenpenny

Your file is definitely associated with your team/Pro plan, so I’ve passed this onto our team to confirm if the First Draft entry point is expected to be missing from the Actions menu for paid plan users who are not yet part of the AI Agents beta.

According to our Help Center article, beginning May 20, 2026, Figma’s agent will be the new entry point for this functionality. In the meantime, I would suggest joining the waitlist, if you haven’t already. This may be an overlooked and unexpected source of friction for our users that we’ll need to clarify and address.
