I am facing confusion about Figma AI Credits

I use full seat plan on a monthly basis and previously in Admin section there used to be a separate section which showed how much credits has been used but now figma has made some changes in the plan and I am not able to see the status here which is confusing.

Should I pay more to get AI credits? Or am I getting those 3000 credits which I used to get, since I am on full seat planned. Will I be charged if I use agentic AI within the Figma canvas? Or is it just for Figma make? Here it says people using AI credits ?

Can someone help because when I have used inline agentic AI within the figma canvas there has not been any use of tokens?

Hey @Gaurav Thapaliya, thanks for reaching out, happy to help clear this up!

1. You still have 3,000 credits/month.
As a Full seat on the Professional plan, you continue to receive 3,000 AI credits per month. Your screenshot confirms this, it shows your seat is credited correctly and resets on July 12. Nothing has changed about your allocation.

2. The admin dashboard hasn't disappeared, it moved.
Figma updated how credit tracking works in late 2025. The separate credits section you used to see was reorganised into a dedicated AI credits page. Admins can now find it at Admin > AI credits > View, or via Admin > Billing. From there you can see who on your team is using AI features and how many credits have been consumed.

3. Why the Figma agent on the canvas isn't showing any credit usage.
The Figma agent in Figma Design (the agent that lives directly on the canvas and in the left sidebar) is currently in closed beta, and during the beta period it's completely free. AI credits are not consumed for any prompts or actions. That's why you're not seeing any usage. You can read more about the beta here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/34932042346775.

4. Figma Make vs the Figma agent
Just to clarify the distinction: Figma Make does draw from your credits now that limits are enforced. The Figma agent in design files is the one currently in free beta.

5. Will you be charged extra?
No automatic charges are triggered. If you exhaust your 3,000 seat credits, AI features will pause until your next monthly reset. You'll see an in-product message if that happens, and you can request additional credits from your admin at that point. Nothing is billed to you directly without admin action.

Hope that clears things up! You can find full details on how credits work here: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/33459875669015
