I accidentally clicked the Agent icon, and now I can’t figure out how to close or dismiss it. The popup is very intrusive and gets in the way of my workspace, which makes it quite frustrating to use Figma.Could you please provide an easy way to close the Agent popup or prevent it from appearing unintentionally? Thank you!

Hi Figma team and community,I am trying to use Figma MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration in VS Code, but I’m running into a persistent authentication token creation issue that prevents the connection from working. Problem DescriptionWhen I configure mcp.json like this:"figma": {"type": "http","url": "https://mcp.figma.com/mcp"},and start the server in VS Code, a browser opens to https://www.figma.com/oauth/mcp/... where I click “Agree and Allow Access”. It seems that fails then a window in VS Code shows “You have not yet finished authenticating to 'Figma MCP'. Would you like to try a different way? (URL Handler)”, which I click “yes” and it takes me through the same Figma OAuth Access flow in the browser, and re-opens VS Code. After doing this, the Figma MCP server fails to start and I see the following MCP Output Error messages:[warning] Error getting token from server metadata: Error: Failed to create authentication token[info] Connection state: Error 401 status sending message

Hello,I would like to request a full refund for the charge related to a Figma subscription, which was initiated unexpectedly. As soon as I discovered that the subscription had been activated, I cancelled it directly through the platform—less than 48 hours after the purchase. My account is now back on the free plan, and I have no intention of using the features included in the paid plan.Given that the cancellation was made within 48 hours of the purchase—and well within the 7-day legal cooling-off period applicable to purchases made outside of a physical retail location—I am requesting a full refund of the amount paid.Could you please confirm that the refund is being processed and, if any further steps are required to finalize it, let me know what those might be?Thank you for your time and assistance; I look forward to receiving confirmation of the refund.

Hi, the new version of “Edit with prompt” has been bothering me a lot. It removed one of the most important features for my workflow: prompt history/recent prompt. For a lot of my work, I reuse the same prompt multiple times to generate different outcomes. Previously, I could just click “Edit with prompt,” select a prompt from the history, and hit Generate. Now I have to type or paste the prompt again every single time, which makes the workflow much more repetitive and inconvenient.I also find the new popup placement uncomfortable, since it always appears right next to the image and gets in the way.The previous workflow was much faster and more efficient. I’d really like to see prompt history brought back, or at least have an easy way to reuse recent prompts.

Hey everyone! I know Figma Make has an official Supabase integration for this. My question: is there any native way to make user interactions (edits, additions, etc.) on a published app persist and be visible to every visitor — like a shared database, not just local/per-user storage  without connecting an external service like Supabase or Firebase? Is this possible today within Figma Make, or is an external backend the only way to get shared/multi-user persistence? Thanks!

Hello Figma Support Team,My original Figma account, associated with (redacted by the moderator due to PII), has been suspended, so I cannot log in or contact support from that account.I am therefore contacting you from another Figma account simply because I have no other way to reach you.I have already submitted support request #2182544, but I have not received a substantive response or any explanation for the suspension.I have used Figma for approximately 3–4 years for my web design business, Digit, and paid for a subscription for over two years before switching to the free plan. My original account contains years of professional website designs and client projects.I can provide invoices, previous correspondence and other evidence to verify my ownership of the suspended account. Please link this message to request #2182544 and escalate the case to the team responsible for account suspensions.I urgently need an explanation of the suspension and assistance restoring access to my files.Th

Figma’s built-in layer blur spreads the same amount in every direction. Real motion blur needs a direction and a trail, and it’s sharp at the front and fades out behind. Most people end up in Photoshop or After Effects for that, then export and re-import every time the design changes. Here’s how I do it inside Figma with Motiv Blur, a plugin I built. What you need: any layer, group or frame (a product shot, an icon, text, an illustration) and the Motiv Blur plugin. Step 1: Select your layerClick the object you want to put in motion. Any layer, group or frame works. Step 2: Run Motiv BlurOpen Actions (⌘/Ctrl + K), type Motiv Blur and press Enter. The plugin opens with a live preview of your selection. Step 3: Tune the blurWith Live Preview on, the canvas updates as you drag:Angle: the direction of motion Distance: how long the trail is Tail size: shrink the tail for a sense of depth and speed Tail / Head clarity: fade the trail out, keep the front crispYou can also drag the TAIL and HEAD

Hi everyone. I'm the maker of Photogma, a solo side project. Full disclosure: it's paid, with a free tier (details below).I built it for Figma designers who still receive PSDs and don't want to rebuild them by hand. The first two images are listing illustrations made from a demo file (a made-up serum ad): the headline comes in as a Figma text layer, gets rewritten, and goes back to PSD still as text. PSD/PSB → FigmaText: font, size, tracking, leading, mixed styles, point and paragraph text; rotated text stays editable Shapes: live rectangles (with per-corner radius) and ellipses, pen paths, gradient fills, dashed strokes Layer, clipping and group masks, plus vector masks on shape layers; blend modes Figma also has (others, like Dissolve, fall back to Normal); each artboard as its own frame Drop/inner shadows become Figma effects; color/gradient overlays become fills on text and shapes and are baked into image layers; glows are approximated with shadows Layer-style strokes become editabl

Can anyone assist me with getting my prototype to fit into the frame when in presentation mode. It fits perfectly when I preview the prototype but as soon as I try to present it zooms in. The frame I worked on was iPhone 14 and that is what I selected for presenting it.

I would like for Figma to support setting variants as preferred instances within a slot. Right now, it seems slots can only support base level components as a slot value, but our design system is currently composed of many variants. For example, I want to build a card that can have different layouts of buttons at the bottom. In our design system, we have buttons in small, medium, and large variants, but I want the card to only allow for medium and large buttons. Ideally, I would set the medium and large variants as the preferred instances, but since Figma doesn’t allow a variant to be inserted into a slot as a preferred instance, the only way to achieve this is to rebuild the variants each as their own base level component.

I use Claude on two separate Claude accounts, and both need the Figma MCP connector pointed at the same Figma account. This does not work. As soon as I authorize the Figma connector on the second Claude account, the first one is invalidated and its Figma tools stop working (“The user’s connection to this connector was invalidated”). Re-authorizing on the first account then kicks off the second. The same Figma login can be authorized in Claude Code’s own Figma plugin at the same time without conflict, so the limit seems to be one active authorization per Figma account for the Claude connector client, rather than a general one-session rule. Please allow one Figma account to hold more than one active authorization for the same MCP client, or document the limit and the intended workaround. Reproduced October 13, 2026 on the current remote server at mcp.figma.com with two Claude accounts, one Figma account. My original report was categorized as Suggest a Feature. I am reporting this as a bug

I never use the AI Agent. I have no desire to use the AI Agent. I resent Figma’s attempts to get me to use the AI Agent. Yet, when I create a new Design file, the AI Agent panel is open by default. Two questions:How do I select either “File” or “Assets” as the default pane that opens when I create a new Design? When will you release an update that allows me to remove the AI Agent button from my left nav bar?

So im trying to export and entire Ui for roblox but when exporting in my folder it looks like the pattern didn’t export or isn’t there and when putting it in roblox studio or any program it doesn’t show upThis is how it looks after exporting This is how it looks on previewI need an answer fastIT EXCLUSIVELY ONLY HAPPENS WITH PATTERNS NOTHING ELSE

We generate FigJam flow diagrams (breadboards: screens with stacked actions, arrows between them) from a plugin via the Figma MCP. The Plugin API lets us set a connector's two endpoints (node + magnet or position), but not where an elbowed connector bends — FigJam always puts the vertical leg at the midpoint between the ends. On any non-trivial flow (several places stacked in a column, links skipping a column or looping back), that means several connectors share the same channel or cut through boxes, and the only workarounds are hidden dummy nodes or replacing arrows with text labels.  What would fix it:Read/write access to a connector's waypoints (or the elbow offset that the UI lets you drag), e.g. connector.waypoints = [{x, y}, …] for ELBOWED/STRAIGHT lines Or at least an "avoid overlapping other connectors/nodes" routing option Users can already drag elbows by hand in the UI; we'd just like the same control from a plugin, so generated diagrams look like hand-drawn ones.

Hi,I don’t know if I’m the only one with this problem. I have the slot. I configure it, etc. everything awesome.I take the instance, try to use it.Add an instance of the component that I had selected as the preferred one. Now, it breaks my Fill for width and height for the component and the component doesn’t fill the slot area! Now, I know it has to be changed to fill but weren’t slots supposed to be automatic? So that whatever is put there, it behaves like it should?WTF?Another BROKEN FEATURE… OMFG.

Hi, I’ve lost access to my email and can no longer log in to my Figma account. I don’t have email forwarding set up from the old address to a new one. Could you help me create a support ticket?

Previously, it was possible to collapse or expand multiple layer groups simultaneously, but it no longer seems possible. It was as simple as selecting multiple groups and holding the CMD key while clicking on one if their chevron icon-button. This ability seems to have been removed, unless it’s simply the shortcut that changed? This feature was quite useful to navigate quickly within the layers panel. It would be great to bring it back as it doesn’t seem to conflict with any new features. Collapse and expand multiple layers simultaneously

Dear Figma Support Team,I am experiencing an issue with the cursor/hand icon in Figma Prototype Preview. When I preview my design in Figma while logged into my account, the hand cursor does not appear on clickable elements, even though the interactions are working correctly. However, when I open the same prototype in Incognito mode or in Chrome without logging into my Figma account, the hand cursor appears as expected.I have already tried troubleshooting the issue by checking and updating the relevant settings, but unfortunately, the problem still persists.Issue Summary: Problem: Hand/cursor icon is not showing on clickable elements in Prototype Preview. Expected Behavior: The hand cursor should appear when hovering over interactive elements. Actual Behavior: The cursor does not change to a hand icon when logged into my Figma account. Additional Observation: The hand cursor works correctly in Incognito mode and in Chrome without logging in. Troubleshooting: I have already checked

the copy option disappeared on figma make from today

I also recommend Figma for creating all kinds of designs, whether digital or print materials. Unfortunately, Figma does not fully support print design. We would love to see this feature added to Figma!

I want to be able to export designs in PDF for print (CMYK/Hi-resolution) For now, I was using the plugin TinyImage Compressor but it’s no longer free and I don’t understand why Figma can have this option on it’s own. I’d have to pay $456 a year. If Figma has paper sizes, why don’t they have this option… you can’t print quality good quality colors in RGB. I’m going to have to go back to Adobe for print files. Is this happening to anyone else?

When working on UI designs, I often find myself copying and pasting the same kinds of things throughout the day: text snippets, color values, screenshots, links, and small design references. The problem is that the next thing I copy replaces the previous item on the clipboard. If I need something I copied a few minutes ago, I have to go back to the original file or application and find it again. For anyone using Figma on a Mac, how do you handle this?Do you rely on the standard macOS clipboard, use a dedicated clipboard manager, or have another workflow that makes it easier to reuse copied content?I'm particularly interested in tools that make it easy to find previous clipboard items without interrupting the design process. It would be useful to hear what works well for designers who regularly switch between Figma, browsers, documentation, and other apps. What does your clipboard workflow look like, and is there anything you wish worked better?

I do a lot of packaging and print work, and Figma is already my tool of choice for everything up to the moment the file has to go to the printer. That last step is where it falls apart, and I end up rebuilding the layout in Illustrator or InDesign just to hand it off.A few things that would let us stay in Figma end to end:CMYK and spot colour supportRight now everything is RGB, so colours shift the moment the file hits a press. Being able to define CMYK values, assign Pantone/spot colours, and see an out-of-gamut warning would solve the single biggest problem.Bleed, trim and safe areaA document-level setting for bleed and trim marks, with the artwork actually extending into the bleed, rather than everyone faking it with a frame inside a bigger frame.Print-ready PDF exportPDF/X-1a or PDF/X-4 export with crop marks, bleed, embedded fonts and no downsampled images. Today's PDF export is fine for review but printers reject it.Dieline / cut layer handlingFor packaging we work on top of a di

Summary:The Make preview iframe replaces console.debug with a wrapper that calls JSON.stringify on each argument. If any argument is circular, such as a DOM element with a React fiber attached, the wrapper throws a TypeError. The exception propagates into the calling code, so a harmless debug log can break app or library logic. The same code works outside the preview, for example in a plain Vite dev server. Steps to reproduceIn a Make project, run this anywhere in app code or a dependency:const el = document.createElement('div')// or any DOM node rendered by React, which has a __reactFiber$ propertyconsole.debug('mounted', el)For a minimal repro, log an object with a self-reference:const a = {}; a.self = aconsole.debug(a)Open the Make preview and check the console.Expected: The log is recorded or safely ignored, and execution continues.Actual: The hook throws:TypeError: Converting circular structure to JSON  --> starting at object with constructor 'HTMLDivElement'  ... property '__r
