How do Mac designers manage clipboard history when working in Figma?
When working on UI designs, I often find myself copying and pasting the same kinds of things throughout the day: text snippets, color values, screenshots, links, and small design references.
The problem is that the next thing I copy replaces the previous item on the clipboard. If I need something I copied a few minutes ago, I have to go back to the original file or application and find it again.
For anyone using Figma on a Mac, how do you handle this?
Do you rely on the standard macOS clipboard, use a dedicated clipboard manager, or have another workflow that makes it easier to reuse copied content?
I'm particularly interested in tools that make it easy to find previous clipboard items without interrupting the design process. It would be useful to hear what works well for designers who regularly switch between Figma, browsers, documentation, and other apps.
What does your clipboard workflow look like, and is there anything you wish worked better?
