Clear the desktop app cache — this often resolves white screen issues. If you're on Windows and still see a white or black screen after clearing cache, right-click the Figma icon in your system tray, go to Troubleshooting, and uncheck Prefer High-Performance GPU .If the white screen is happening in a specific file rather than the whole app, it may be caused by image memory — let me know and I can walk you through opening the file in thumbnail mode .1:14 PM0x80004005 error is givenThat error code can appear when the Figma desktop app has trouble launching pro

Hi Figma Support/Community,I’m seeing a recurring charge for a Figma subscription on my credit card, but I’m unable to identify which Figma account/email address the subscription is associated with.I have checked the Figma accounts I’m aware of, but I cannot find the subscription or billing history under any of them.Could someone please guide me on how I can identify the Figma account associated with this payment?I can provide the following details privately if required:Date of the charge - 13th september 2026 (8:07pm) Amount charge - 2072.34 INRI would appreciate your help in locating the account and stopping/correcting the subscription if necessary.Thank you.

The recent figma autolayout update has brought up conflicting emotions. From one point it’s great that the autolayout would work closer to code, but on the other hand for teams that do more complex projects than Web UI, this creates a loooot of issues. 3 things in particular, that I know for sure, will break what we've been using in case of complex layouts:"Padding now always gets the room it needs" - Often when necessary, I relied on the fact that you can set auto-layout frame size to 0 and add paddings inside to allow precise position of elements without affecting the size and position parent and sibling frames. Now that won't be possible. "Inside strokes counting in autolayout" - again pretty sure this will break layouts where inside stroke was used. "Stacks with gap set to auto no longer overlap" - A lot of cases it's better to have parent in the desired size than have the parent rely on the children. Then we will get uneven distances and paddings in some cases. All of this would

I’ve been experiencing this issue for several weeks now, and it’s starting to make Figma Motion impossible to use. Within Figma Motion, the colours display correctly (for example, #4D0020), but after exporting, the resulting videos appear noticeably darker (#4D000B).This colour shift significantly impacts the output quality and makes the tool unreliable for production work. I’m hoping this can be resolved as soon as possible, as the tooling and UI are otherwise excellent and very intuitive to use.If anyone has found a workaround or solution, I’d really appreciate hearing about it.

I’m using Figma desktop app on a mac. When I apply the glass effect on a UI frame in file 2, a strange dark border appears. When I apply the same glass effect on the exact same UI frame in file 1 (my component library), a strange dark border appears. Can someone help me troubleshoot this pls?? Thank you!!

I’ve been thinking about how much difference good file organization can make when working on a design project. For example, how do you usually organize your Figma files and pages? Do you have a specific naming system for layers, components, and sections, or do you keep things more flexible?I’d be interested to hear what organization habits other designers have found useful, especially when multiple people need to work on the same file.

Hello Figma Support,I was recently charged for a new Figma subscription, but I would like to cancel the subscription and request a refund for this recent charge. The charge was made very recently, and I have not intended to continue with the new subscription period. Hello,I was charged for my Figma subscription today, September 27, 2026.I canceled my subscription today (September 27) because I no longer plan to use Figma. Since the subscription was canceled on the same day as the payment and I do not intend to use the service going forward, I would like to request a refund for today's charge.Could you please review my account and let me know if a refund is possible?Thank you for your help.

Hello,I subscribed to the Figma Professional plan about a month ago.I had been using it personally and was happy with it, so I created a team in order to share the Professional plan with the same team members I had been working with on the free version of Figma. However, I later found out that my team members could only use the AI features if I paid for their seats as well, so we decided to go back to working on the free plan. I believe I restricted their access on the very first day.I thought that was the end of it, but then I noticed an upcoming charge of $120. I canceled the Professional plan, received a confirmation that my plan had been canceled, and also received an email stating that my team is now on the Starter plan.Despite this, I received an email today saying that Figma attempted to charge me $88.Could you please look into this and let me know what can be done? Since the added seats were never intended to be paid seats, I would really appreciate it if this charge could be ca

Hi all 👋 I build banner ads and since Figma Motion launched I've been animating everything on the new timeline. But when it came to delivering ads, I was stuck: Motion exports MP4, GIF, WebM and SVG, and none of those can be uploaded as an HTML5 display ad.So I built a small plugin that does just that one job: Figma to HTML5 Display Ads. How it worksAnimate your banner in Figma Motion as normal Export it as an animated SVG (Export → Animated → SVG) Open the plugin and upload your SVG Download a clean, self-contained HTML5 zip, ready for Google Ads or any HTML5 ad platformThat's it. No new timeline to learn and no rebuilding your animation. It uses the Motion animation you've already made. Why I made it simpleMost banner tools charge a monthly per-seat subscription and bury the export under dozens of features. This one keeps it clean and simple for a one off $50. No subscription.Try it here: https://www.figma.com/community/plugin/1652278713752782198I would really love feedback from any

Hey everyone. I would like you to consider the text animation feature in Figma Motion. What I mean by text animation is animating text either word by word, or character by character, like the kind of animation we see in Saas promo videos. With other effects to the text like gradient color change that moves along the text reveal. That would be really cool :))

Sharing a free plugin I built, in case it is useful to anyone here who works in more than one language. The problem: getting accented letters into Figma text is more awkward than it should be. Alt codes can swallow the character before them (there is an open thread here where "différent" comes out as "diférent"), the macOS accent menu only started working relatively recently, and the fallback most people end up with is typing it in Word and pasting it across. What it does: search 682 accented letters from 55 languages — by the letter, its Unicode name, the accent mark, the language that uses it, a code point, or just a plain description like "two dots" if you do not know it is called a diaeresis. Click one and it goes into the selected text layer. No Alt codes involved at any point. Free, no account, no tracking. The letter data comes from Unicode 16.0.0 and CLDR 48.2.0 rather than being typed out by hand, so the language coverage should be right. https://www.figma.com/community/plugin

Hello Figma Community,Is anyone else experiencing persistent rejections from SheerID for Education status reverification recently? Automated checks keep denying my official enrollment documents even after submitting my current Certificate of Registration (COR).My student status is set to expire in 3 days, and this is extremely urgent. I am currently handling multiple major academic projects and course deliverables that strictly require Figma. Losing editing access at this point will cause a severe disruption to my group’s progress and academic compliance.I have already emailed SheerID and Figma Support multiple times regarding this matter, but I have yet to receive a resolution or update, and time is running out.Has anyone faced a similar issue, and how was it resolved? Do Figma moderators here assist in flagging urgent verification cases like this? Any advice or insight from the community would be greatly appreciated.Thank you very much!

I was charged extra without my authorization. I have the basic plan, and they charged me around 60 euros.

I studied a master's program where we had to use Figma as a team, so we created a shared team from a classmate's account. The program has now ended and I assume she removed me from the team, but it doesn't seem to have worked properly, because it still appears in my list of teams. I'd like to leave it, but the whole screen is blank and there are no options. I've tried it in Chrome on Windows and in Safari on Mac. If possible, could someone please remove me from that team?

Hello! I noticed that in the Figma article What is Human Computer Interaction?, the author writes:Dialogue. Use clear and concise language to communicate task completion, like  “Purchase Confirmed” pop-ups after completing an online order. On Shneiderman’s website, he writes: Design dialogs to yield closure.Sequences of actions should be organized into groups with a beginning, middle, and end. Informative feedback at the completion of a group of actions gives users the satisfaction of accomplishment, a sense of relief, a signal to drop contingency plans from their minds, and an indicator to prepare for the next group of actions. For example, e-commerce websites move users from selecting products to the checkout, ending with a clear confirmation page that completes the transaction. I understand that they are variations of the same word but I would argue that in this context, it is important to use dialog because Schneiderman is referring to the importance of the graphical interface  (li

I wasn’t sure how to make some interactions, so I ended up prompting Figma Make to make them happen, but now I can’t get everything out to edit. Do you know how I can do this without paying for a code converter to convert the code back into a Figma deisgn?
