Accent Letters — a free plugin for typing á é í ó ú ñ ü without Alt codes

Sharing a free plugin I built, in case it is useful to anyone here who works in more than one language.

The problem: getting accented letters into Figma text is more awkward than it should be. Alt codes can swallow the character before them (there is an open thread here where "différent" comes out as "diférent"), the macOS accent menu only started working relatively recently, and the fallback most people end up with is typing it in Word and pasting it across.

What it does: search 682 accented letters from 55 languages — by the letter, its Unicode name, the accent mark, the language that uses it, a code point, or just a plain description like "two dots" if you do not know it is called a diaeresis. Click one and it goes into the selected text layer. No Alt codes involved at any point.

Free, no account, no tracking. The letter data comes from Unicode 16.0.0 and CLDR 48.2.0 rather than being typed out by hand, so the language coverage should be right.
