I've been experimenting with the new Figma Make feature and noticed a recurring issue that's affecting usability: After about 8–10 successful prompts (each 1–2 lines long), Figma Make starts rejecting any further prompt with the message: "Try again, with fewer inputs." This happens even when the prompts are extremely short, e.g., "Create a dark-themed button component" or "Add a CTA section with three buttons." I’ve tested this across multiple projects and browsers. The issue persists consistently, and the only workaround seems to be refreshing the tab, which sometimes helps temporarily — but not always. Additional Context: Even though Figma Make is currently laggy while generating prototypes (which I can overlook), this input rejection bug makes it difficult to iterate quickly or finish design ideas. It feels like a silent rate-limit or session exhaustion issue that’s not clearly communicated to the user.
Sometimes pages need to live across Multiple files. Instead of duplicating the pages and creating a new instance of it, it would be good to have one single source of truth. The intended result is to have one page that is in-sync across different files. If it gets updated in file 2, those updates should appear in file 1, and vice versa. Alternatively, just being able to embed a read-only version of the page would be helpful. It could be editable only in the one (parent) file, but is visible in the other.
Our other Figma account was recently compromised. We have lost access, and it appears that the account was deleted by an unauthorized person. This account contained important design work.We kindly ask you to:- Help us recover the compromised account if possible, or- Transfer all existing projects and files from the compromised account to our new account. These files are critical to our work, and we would deeply appreciate your assistance in restoring access or migrating the content. I already have a ticket open with the email of the admin of the account compromised, ticket number is 1431224. We are ready to provide any additional evidence to confirm our ownership of the account and its content. Thank you in advance for your help and understanding.Best regards
Hello! I created a team project on an education plan linked to my school email. Since I just graduated, I will lose access to it soon but I have important projects on there that I don't want to loose. I already changed "ownership" of the project to my private email. But is that enough? Or do I need to get a paid plan to somehow transfer the files? I don’t quite understand where figma stores these files. Thank you in advance!
Currently Figma doesn’t offer all languages, for example Dannish, Finish, Norwegian are not available. Would be perfect to have all languages so that we can translate slides directly.
@Tom Reem When we will have plugin support in buzz? any ETA? [This post was moved from the thread “ [Config 2025] Figma Buzz is here — let’s hear what you think! ” and the title updated to “Is plugin support coming to Figma Buzz?” by a moderator on 09-Jul-2025.]
I’m lost… I cannot tell consistently where the heck I am supposed to find the rounded corners editor for elements. This new UI just feels overly complicated with things jumping around in different places. The other UI was predictable. This one does not seem to be.
Here is our published file It supposed to be a free. But Figma added some link to purchase. We are not trying to sell it. How to make published file free? Why Figma redirecting to third party service? The file was published as free for community https://www.figma.com/community/file/1526612389723912224/ui-elements-for-e-commerce
Hello, I was previously using the Free plan on Figma. To try the most affordable paid option, I purchased a plan that was around $5. Afterwards, I switched back to the Starter plan to avoid recurring charges. However, on July 15, 2025 at 01:05 AM, a $33 charge was made to my account. When I asked the chatbot about this, I was instructed to check my subscription details via the admin button in the file browser's left sidebar. But since I’m on the Starter plan, I do not see any admin button and therefore cannot access that information. The chatbot also confirmed that I’m currently on the Starter plan. Since the charge was made, I haven’t canceled any subscription — mostly because, as a Starter plan user, I don’t have access to any cancelable paid plan. I would like to understand the reason behind this $33 charge. If the charge had only been around $5, I might have assumed it was a small account-related issue. However, I didn’t receive any notification from Figma about a price increase or
I have been using Figma Make to design my portfolio which was going great. Things I got done - Created a homepage Added Interactions Defined a visual design language As I am proceeding to drilled down pages further, I have noticed a few things : The images that were added previously are deleted / replaced by new ones - despite specific instructions to not do it. Slow speed : I also noticed that the typing speed of prompts slowed down as I proceeded further - cross-checked if it was a computer issue (which it wasn’t) It’s forgetting things! with every prompt & design updates, it’s now deleting the previous content + pictures :( all the hard work seems to be going in vain and I’m not afraid to touch the project in fear of disrupting the progress so far Can someone help me? Also, what’s the memory capacity of Figma Make? I noticed it was using Calude Sonnet so, assumed it should have been good. Am I missing something here?
I’ve made a flow diagram of a simple user task, i’ve adjusted the connectors to better fit the layout and available space. I then wrapped it in a section component and pressed the hotkey to resize the section to fit the flow diagram. However, when I do this, it always changes the positions of the connectors which i then need to adjust again. This usually happens when I move the connectors from their default. Attached a before and after: For a simple diagram this is annoying but not a big deal. but for a large, very intricate diagram … this is a nightmare
I am facing problems when I display the project. There are glitches in the display. Do you have a solution?
First of all, kudos to the Figma team for Sites, it’s an amazing product even in beta. I've been looking forward to Figma making this happen, an easy way to publish a website directly. I’ve been moving our website from Framer to Figma hoping to switch, however I encountered one issue: I have text styles with breakpoints for desktop, tablet and mobile. Everything looks good in the preview, however when I publish the site, styles use the values for the mobile breakpoints even on the desktop. Interestingly enough, if I resize the browser window to a smaller size and then back again, it works. So it looks like the first view is the one with the issue. At some point, I think it was working properly, but now this issue is back again. I can’t seem to see any correlations with anything else I’m doing. Anyone else experiencing something similar? Thank you,Panos
Hi, I duplicated 2 files, a library and a design file. The new design file is obviously still attached to the previous library. I want to attach it to the new library. Everything is still exactly the same. I open the library panel in the new design file, add the new library to the file and detach the old one, then I click on “swap library” in order to replace components and styles in the file, but I get this error ID: ba6fb6fe90044b46a5917a85bf89e636. Did this happen to anyone else? If yes anyone found a solution? How am I supposed to swap my libraries if this doesn’t work, I tried more than 20 times over the week end.
