@Tom Reem When we will have plugin support in buzz? any ETA?

Hi @Bhaumin — welcome to the Figma Forum, and thank you for raising this! 💯

I've moved your post to its own thread so we can better track the request. I also checked in with the product team — while I don’t have a timeline to share just yet on when plugin support might come to Figma Buzz, I’d love to gather more context to help inform internal conversations.

When you have a moment, could you share a bit more about how plugin support within Figma Buzz specifically would improve your workflow, or any specific enhancements you'd like to see? Your input will help us better understand the real-world impact and prioritize.💡

Hi @Tom Reem , thanks so much for the warm welcome and for looking into this! I really appreciate you gathering more context for the product team.

Here are a few specific use cases where plugin support within Figma Buzz would dramatically improve our workflows:

  1. Automated Content Publishing & Syndication: A major enhancement would be plugins that connect Figma Buzz to other platforms. For example, we could publish a "New Feature" announcement directly from Buzz to our company's Slack channels, Twitter feed, or CMS. This would create a seamless content workflow, saving our teams hours of manual work exporting and re-uploading assets.

  2. Dynamic Data for Personalized Content: We often need to create multiple versions of marketing materials. A plugin could populate our Buzz designs with dynamic data from a Google Sheet, Airtable, or a live API. This would allow us to instantly generate dozens of variations of a social media post with different customer testimonials or product details for A/B testing and personalization.

  3. Integration with Project Management Tools: Plugins for tools like Jira, Asana, or Trello would be a game-changer. When we post a design update in Buzz and tag it as "Ready for Dev," a plugin could automatically update the corresponding Jira ticket's status and attach the design preview. This would keep our development and product teams perfectly in sync with design progress.

In short, these integrations would transform Figma Buzz into a powerful hub that connects our design process with the broader operational workflows of our company.

Thanks again for listening to the community. I'm very excited about the future of Figma Buzz

This is awesome, @Bhaumin — thanks for taking the time to lay this out so clearly and highlighting why it’s important for your workflow!

I’ve shared your insights with the Buzz team — we definitely hear you. Appreciate your patience as we continue to prioritize and roll out improvements. 📈
