Hi everyone, I’m exploring the new website functionality in Figma and would like to know if there’s a WYSIWYG editor available for clients. Is it possible for clients to add and modify content on the site without needing to access Figma or having any prior knowledge of the platform? Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
A similar question has been posted by another user about 3 years ago, but they didn’t have a solution on their post. I am trying to get the “like” button to return to its default state when the “dislike” button is clicked and vice versa. When hovered over, they reveal a tool tip and turn gray. Each time one of these buttons is clicked, it shows a different notification overlay (liked notif, disliked notif, and undo notif (undo happens on 2nd click)). Below is the current logic I am trying for the “like” button (I’ve tried a few variations, I’ve asked AI, and I’ve tried different variables. I’ve also tried having both buttons in the same component set). If you have any ideas at all, please advise. I will try those too. 😅 Thank you in advance!

The annotations feature is nice, but it’s pretty frustrating that you’ve chosen to only allow editors and developers access to them. I frequently have a need to share annotations with other stakeholders (developers, support, other product managers and designers). By implementing them in the way you have, you’ve excluded product managers with view access from seeing my annotations. Most of the PMs I work with only have viewer licences which means they are unable to see them. My alternatives are that I use Comments instead of Annotations (which is a misuse of Comments for developer and interaction notes IMO) or I spin my own and make components of them. Please make annotations visible to all users; not just editors and developers.
Whey I design a dialog component with a content slot, I’ve to create a content component to drag into. Doing this for several slots will declutter my canvas. It would be great if you could add custom content directly within a “slot”, without the need to create a component for it. … Like a dedicated slot where you can add content directly by clicking on it.
My suggestion for Figma is to add a “slot” functionality to components. This would allow designers to create more flexible and customizable components, by adding empty slots or placeholders within a component. Users could then insert their own content or elements into these slots, without having to ungroup or modify the component itself. This functionality would save time and increase efficiency for designers, while also promoting a more consistent design system across a project or organization. I believe this feature would greatly enhance the flexibility and usability of Figma’s component system, and would be a valuable addition to the platform.
An image inside a mask looks fine in Figma Design, but when used in Figma Sites, the mask appears rotated in the preview, breaking the crop. Steps to Reproduce: Create a component instance with an image inside a mask in Figma Design. Confirm it looks correct in both design and prototype views. Add the component to a Figma Sites project. Hi Figma team, I’ve noticed a few earlier posts regarding support for the latest version of the Inter typeface have been closed without resolution, so I wanted to reopen the conversation. Currently, Figma supports Inter 3.0, but Inter 4.0 introduces important enhancements—most notably the tabular numbers (tabnums) feature, which is particularly valuable when designing financial software and data-heavy interfaces. Would you be able to share if there are any plans to update the supported version of Inter in Figma? I just left a team on figma as i am no longer working for that company and after creating a file, I did not realize that the file was actually in the team. after I left the team, the file is now gone. is there anyway to recover the file back to my account?
I was working on a file about 3 months ago and today I tried to make some changes and the file is completely gone. I have not deleted it, i have not moved it, i have done anything but leave it where it was originally. Ive searched it everywhere in my account, but I still can not find it. I’ve added a lot of animations to one slide in my deck and it seems to be breaking the app. I’ve got 3 more to plug in but I keep getting this error: Error ID: 398179845c5a4e60b0273a827aadd94c
I have the same slowdown happening today as a number of others here. Just hiding a layer is delayed by 5-6 seconds after the first layer’s clicked to hide. Many Paster plugin is so slow it took 38 seconds to paste 13 items into text fields! I shut down all my other files. I closed and reopened Figma. I closed all my apps and restarted my M1 chip MacBook Pro w 32GB. Still no love! Can’t work like this and this was not happening before the upgrade yesterday. Please roll back this version so I can get to work, then performance-test before rolling out again. Thanks...Racine
Is it possible to use local fonts (or any fonts not available on Google Fonts) with Figma Sites? Is there a way to link a .woff file or reference a custom font in any other way? Thanks!
