This is just a bug report (if this belongs somewhere else happy to submit this there)
The Mobile Product Review Slides template uses Whyte as the title font but that’s unavailable for most users. I’ve been using IBM Plex Serif as a replacement, but anyway, worth changing so users don’t run into this bug in the future.

💡Quick note of clarification: The Reddit post linked above shows Whyte Inktrap, which is no longer available. Going forward, you should now see Whyte correctly listed as a text style in this template.

Sooo… how do we fix it? I’m still getting a Font missing error message when I try to use the template.
Hey @Emma Toshack — thanks for flagging this, and sorry you’re still hitting that font error. A couple of quick checks to start: Are you seeing the message in the browser or the desktop app? I just tested by opening a new Figma Slides file using the same template and wasn’t able to reproduce the error.
We did recently release an update for the Figma Desktop App (version 125.8.8), so if you’re on desktop, can you confirm you’re running the latest version and see if that clears it up?
If the issue persists, could you share the steps leading up to the error and a screenshot of what you’re seeing? That’ll give me what I need to escalate for a closer look with the product team. 🙏🏻
Hi there! I’m using figma in my browser. I select the Mobile Product Review template, and when I try to edit the copy I get the error message saying that the Whyte font is missing. See screenshots attached.

While that helps illustrate the issue on your end, I still haven’t been able to replicate it.🤔 As a next step, could you grant access to a file where this is happening? That will let me collaborate with our Product Support and Engineering teams to investigate further.
