When I select 10 objects and I align them,

BEFORE the update, I see the distance between them and set it accordingly on right upper corner.

Now after the UPDATE its GONE. Cant do anything. 2000hrs in to Figma and I lost my basics.

WHY would you ever do something like this?

Hey @Gokhan Uzmez — welcome to Figma Forum, and thanks for flagging this. Really sorry to hear about the disruption this is causing.

I tested this on my end and was able to align multiple objects by selecting them with the mouse, holding Shift, and then checking spacing under Layout → Spacing. In addition, I was able to see the number of pixels between each object. I’ve attached a screenshot of what I’m seeing. Does that line up with what you’re looking for?

If not, a few details that would help us narrow things down:

  • Are you running into this in the web browser version or the Figma Desktop app?
  • If you’re using the desktop app, can you confirm you’re on version 125.7.5 or later?
  • If it’s still happening, could you share more context (steps leading up to it, or a brief video/screenshot)?

Thanks again for raising this — I’ll keep an eye out for your reply.

that is EXACTLY I used to see and use but its gone.
I am running ( have been) latest MAC os version. It says no updates available.

Take a look at my UI and see my pain for yourself :(

All of my problems started after the UPDATE anyways.

I found the problem, with the new update, there is a DRAW vs DESIGN on the right bottom , realized this by looking at your screenshot.

Well I feel like an id..you know haha Thanks now all Good! Love Figma. Love the response rate and all.

Much appreciated, I am sure there will be some people who are lost in this in the future.

They can refer to this and figure it out.

Hey @Gokhan Uzmez — glad this got resolved! Your note is a good reminder to double-check Draw vs. Design mode. I’ll mark your reply as the best answer. In addition, I’ll share your feedback with the team so we can make this clearer. Thanks for your patience, and feel free to reach out if anything else comes up. 💯

Edit: Sorry for capturing this topic, found the according topic for my problem...
