Hello, I’m experiencing as issue while trying to update a library in Figma. The publishing process almost completes but then gets stuck on the last 32 changes. I receive the following error: “Unable to publish 32 changes to the team library”.Could you please help me resolve this? Thank you!
I’ve noticed that SVG export sizes have gone from around 20KB up to 800KB. Whatever changes have been put through in the last month is effecting it’s usability for the web exports. Our site has a banner limit of 100KB and SVG has been an invaluable resource in meeting these restrictions. However, within the last month when I exported suddenly I am seeing consistently large file sizes of close to 1MB (800KB) for an image comprised of a single background colour and text. This needs urgent attention as it basically makes Figma useless for any vector artwork.
I would like to request a refund because figma automatically deducted money from my debit card. I don't want to use the figma add-on service that was automatically deducted this month. Please refund me immediately. I am requesting an immediate refund for this unauthorized transaction and requesting that you cancel your subscription immediately. When I write create long paragraphs with text tool on the Figma I get the unnecessary spaces on edges of the paragraph like below. But I think if there a hyphenation feature (like Adobe Photoshop) it could add dashes automatically on the texts and fix this issue. So, what do you think about this feature feedback?
I searched the community and didn’t find this listed… I cannot seem to add a library that is styles / color only? to Figma Slides which is how we separate some of our libraries. Leveraging how existing users would expect to accomplish this task … a manage libraries feature… wouldn’t confuse new users as they could still use the new way but help your existing millions of pro Figma designers find their way here. Hep? Pluz?
The Slides file is in the same space with my design system files but I cannot see my published colours and text styles within Slides. Is this a known issue or am I missing something?
This is my parent component, and I need to reuse specific content in certain frames. I created two variants and renamed the text for each frame, but when previewing, the frame component reverts to its parent content. This is the outcome I want to achieve, but in preview, it doesn't reflect the renamed text. Below, I've attached an image of the prototype. Frame Link - Component Link -
I can’t seem to get access to UI3. I tried quitting and restarting. Checked for updates (it was updated). Yet, when I go to the helper, it says I’m on the latest version, with no option to update. Please help. Thank you!
I like creating custom components in Figma to use in FigJam. In one of my projects I’m using FigJam to keep track of characters, locations, etc. for a novel I’m writing. I connect these components together in FigJam to create story arcs, etc. I have created a custom character component that has a space for an image of the character, their physical traits, inventory, etc. When I populate this component in FigJam with info for each specific character, some of the sub-components in the main component I need, and some I don’t. I, FigJam, I’d like a way to easily select which sub-components I want to use for each instance of the component (maybe a simple list with checkboxes when I edit a component), choose variants of components (which you can already do), variables, duplicate objects within a frame, etc. Essentially, I love the power to design custom components in Figma, and I get what you’re trying to do with simplicity in FigJam. I've been learning Figma for the past six months. I came across this website (https://organimo.com/) and really liked the scrolling effect. I’d love to recreate something similar as a prototype in Figma. Could anyone guide me on how to achieve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi, I am trying to swap an object in my component instance (pizza icon) with another object (noodle icon). I tried using Shift + I (Swap Instance) but for some reason it doesn’t work. Could anyone know how to work around this? I couldn’t drag the noodle icon into the component? I tried putting it in front of the component but it stayed behind?
